Hi Dianna A, I remember back in the 1960's Bewitched came on Wednesday nights at 8 pm. Bewitched and The Lucy Show were the 2 shows I fought to be able to stay up and watch. I remember my mother having two choices for grocery shopping, Safeway and a small mom & pop grocer. No one carried chives or knew what bean sprouts were.

Actually, the show didn't tank. The ratings dropped some, but when it was moved to Saturday up against ALL IN TYE FAMILY, BEWITCHED still held its own. For those who think the series was cancelled, it had been renewed for a ninth season. It was Elizabeth Montgomery who pulled the plug. She wanted to move on. Television was also changing, becoming more edgy, covering topics in a "more in your face style." They couldn't do that in the 60s. The good thing is, BEWITCHED is still on around the world in syndication. You can't keep a good series down It is rated in the top fifty shows of all times, according to TV GUIDE, for what it's worth. 🙂

Endora made this show great. I love her. What a great actress. So talented .
Endora is stunning, you can't help but notice her, she is so striking and I love the hair.
I loved all of the costumes/outfits on Bewitched.
