Some BTS Songs are interconnected by a story called BTS YOUNIVERSE. They even made a drama out of the songs connected. Follow the path of the “SMERALDO FLOWER.”
the saying goes ''you dont find BTS, they find you'' which was so true for me and it all started back in 2014 (when i first became an army), as i was going thru a tough and difficult patch in my life as my family recently moved and i didnt really have any friends and on the day they found me was my darkest day and lets just say when they found me they saved my life. Boy In Luv was actuall the song that saved me that day and it was with that song Jimin became my bias and has been ever since (been a army for 10 years now) and im loving every moment of it and its was actually thru BTS that i met my boyfriend ( now been together for 7 years) as we first met when DNA was released and it describes just how me and him met.

Reason why they’re so big and garnered so much support is that people relate to them. The biggest underdogs. The industry big wigs didn’t want them to come up but with they continued to power through to where they are now. Also, Mic Drop was the last hurrah and response to their haters. At this point, they know they can’t be touched anymore so they made this song to say “this is the last time I’ll respond to you, after this, you don’t exist in our minds”
You said about new music and different things in there song's that's why I love BTS I'm 72 and they make so many different song's and videos to anyone else ❤
Dynamite one of 3 all English songs that were just for fun to lift the spirits of everyone due to covid and for them as well. Covid was bad and for them as individuals and as a group they felt they'd lost everything and they were supposed to have started their military service as well but due to covid they were in limbo land. These 3songs were a huge pick me up for them and for ARMY 3 of their 6 number one's on the billboard hot 100 where their 6 songs kept leapfrogging each other for weeks on end. The other one is Permission to Dance which had the people in my close coming out of their houses (while keeping to social distancing regulations) dancing and singing in my little close of 18 houses. You should see their 64th Grammy's performance of 'Butter' it got a standing ovation.
When I first found BTS it felt like when I discovered QUEEN . Like Queen nobody can do what they did. BTS put the english songs to cheer the post covid world up.. hence the english.
Fake Love is from their Love yourself albums which looks at learning to accept and love yourself first so you can then love other's. If you can't even love and respect yourself how on earth can you learn to love and respect other's. This song is about recoginsing 'fake Love' and helped a lot of people in toxic relationships be their platonic, romantic, family or in the work place.
Black Swan is very important as it tell about their real fear of losing their passion for their art eg song writing, composing, producing, dancing singing, rapping just even going back up on stage. 'This will be my first death' is in fact a quote from the famous American dancer and choreographer Martha Graham "A Dancer dies twice, first when they stop dancing and this is the most painful death". It part of them exploring Jungian Psychology and applying it to their own lives so yes they explore the concepts of Shadow, Persona and Ego within their own lives. This is from their Map of the Soul Albums. BTS are great Thinkers with a Leader RM (Rapper with the white hair who came out of the van in Mic Drop) who is not only poetic he's a lover of art and books with an IQ of 148. Yes they all played each other's Shadow and behind the scenes we get to see them like excited puppies playing each other's Shadow, and we get Jimin doing take after take of his solo dance because he kept saying I can do that bit better he's just a perfectionist but then they all are.
Allonsyyy, seeing your reactions for the 2nd time here, have you noticed the timing of your comments? They are like Easter eggs! They correspond to the lyrics and visuals that appear in the next split-second. "Dude, I love the look!" Immediately, RM insults haters who are wearing the same old clothes. "Oh, the explosion!" It's satisfying to hear your appreciation, especially since they didn't achieve that synchronization by CGI. They had to keep their nerve and everyone else had to do their part at just the right time in real time. (We know because there is a behind-the-scenes film.) (Check those out sometime!) "Dude, how old are these kids as well?" at the exact moment the youngest, Jungkook, has a close-up on screen. "Dude, this is insane," while I'm thinking, "More insanity coming right up!" as the screen goes white and the bridge starts, in all it's desolate, film over-exposed, bleached relics glory. "These guys being so good-looking, too!" Immediately we get Taehyung on the screen, the man who wins "Most Handsome Man" awards year after year. Also, speaking of looking, the line after next is, "Your cornea gets shocked when it sees us!" Yeah, that was way too long for a comment. But we ARMYs get carried away with noticing details and making analysis, since we've been trained by their MVs that give us so much to discover. 💜
When filming the MV for for ON they realised they were showing up against the marching Band (they are a famous American Marching Band) so decided they needed to be in white they spray painted Jin Jacket with white spray paint, and they swopped some articles of their clothing with each other. This was film in the USA on top of a dam. Oh yes and poor V got hit in the eye with his zip while dancing it's all in the Behind the Scenes footage. The choreo of the marching band was done by the bands 17year of leader Serena, she's amazing.
You have to watch "Ddang" and straykids new comeback the album is called ate and it has some inspiration from the old album or just give reference to the old albums (PS: I'm trying to write well in english but i don't know if i wrote good it's not my first language and if you don't understand much sorry)

Thanks for your BTS reactions! As for me, I discovered BTS and KPop for the first time searching examples on Google about the 2021 exam for my students, and it was MUSIC. So I searched on Google Music and BTS (the name of my students’ level, Brevet de Technicien Supérieur) and Google proposed me a BTS MV : FAKE LOVE… and I realised at the end of the MV that my jaws were pending… So I use BTS’songs as a teacher and translate and explain their songs, analyse the text and the context on a YT channel in French 😂 And I LOVE it! Even a 58 y/o French teacher can be come a proud and fervent Army
BTS has suffered enormous hate because they are from a small company with little money. Yet they've worked harder than anyone and won more awards than anyone in kpop, without the big corp backing, that the hate continues. So these kind, humble young men do occasionally write an f u song, and this is one of them.

I think you will find they fit more into the super group catagory. 7 successful solo artists in their own right with solo record breaking projects in and separate from BTS albums. The leader of BTS has over 200 songs as a full member of the korean Copywriters Assoc. Suga also a full member of the Korean Copywriters Assoc, As is J Hope and Jungkook. Suga has written, produced and won awards for other artists. All have 7 have very different musical tastes which are represented in BTS wide genre range in their massive discography. All 7 participate in creating their music. Favourite songs at the minute is Suga aka AGUST D DAECHWITTA but its important you listen to DKDKTV DAECHWITA EXPLAINED to get all the historical and cultural references. Its the first of Sugas genius trilogy with its cinematic mvs. But you are too busy enjoying the mvs to follow the captions which have references a non korean just wont get without DKDKTV.

Been in the ARMY for 7 years and it’s been a wild and amazing ride, especially during the pandemic, them releasing Dynamite and Butter helped a lot 🥹
