SouthernGFX thanks for the tips. I somewhat have to change my whole workflow and make some ramifications to how I sculpt. In essence i have to start from jump street because I see that i was working in an unproductive order.
Thanks for the reply. I think it is good to readjust your workflow constantly as you learn new ways to do things. My way is just a good way to get going with digital sculpting on an iPad and other artists may do things differently. You should take what you can from mine and build your own way of doing things over time.
This is fantastic!!!! Watching you work is the most valuable part. With most art-related software, it's not that hard to figure out the basic operation of the software. But it's invaluable to watch an artist show how and where you could use the tools and develop a piece. More "how to create art" than "how to use software." You said at about 11:03, you say: "Can't stop noodling! It's one of the problems we have as digital sculptors. We just want to keep playing with it when you should be teaching." To me, that's some of the most important teaching! It's something you almost never get insights into in other teaching videos. So, thanks and well done!
Uncle Jessy just mentioned Forger in his latest video, and your channel as an awesome learning tool for how to use the app. You've got my attention. Looking forward to watching all your stuff and getting into 3D sculpting on iPad!
Thanks Denis, we saw that and were very pleased he did! Ihope you enjoy the other videos and they are helpful. If there is anything specific you are interested in then please let me know.
I modeled my first project It was a bit difficult to "sculpt" at the beginning but once you understand how it works it's getting fun. As a product designer so when it comes to sculpt more industrial product (straight lines, sharp angles etc...) it becomes challenging. Thanks again! Without this tutorial I think it would take much longer for me to have the level I have now 😃 noted that I am new in 3d.
omg im ten mins in and just realized this was the Forger app and not the Nomad app. I was SOO confused why yours looked so different. Do you have one like this but for NOmad? thanks so much! btw im subscribed
The way the five sidebar buttons are placed really gets me in the UX/ergonomics. There should be an option to keep them at the edge of the screen *even if the menu is open*, so that they’re easier to reach with the free hand. I hope the dev implements a way to do this.
Yeah I really do agree. I don't work with this developer but I think it's a a valid call. I would definitely shoot him a message on twitter of such so he knows.
I totally agree. Clip Studio Paint's edge toolbar works like this. The bar remains along the edge no matter what panels are doc'd along side it.... And thanks for all these great vids, Glen!
How does lighting work? Can you have multiple light sources? Colored lights? Light radiating from inside a sculpture? I have not seen any videos on lighting for this app...
Hi, should I buy the surface go 2 with m3 processor or an Ipad pro 11? I am a 3D artist and would like to know if the Forger sculpting app can compete with Zbrush? Since on go 2, I could use ZBrush and on the Ipad, the Forger Sculpting app. I know the Ipads are damn good but I want to learn 3D sculpting and Zbrush is industrial standard, so would you still recommend forger + ipad pro 11 combo for a 3D artist student?
Hello! I’m having trouble when exporting to procreate! When I create 2 spheres in forger then export it to procreate and start painting one, it starts painting the other one ! Can you please help? Thank you
When I was working, the app crashed and 3 days of work were lost. I sat as usual and worked on the project. I decided to keep my job so as not to waste the time and energy that was invested in this work. I click save and the app crashes. I was very scared and understood what this led to. I open the app and see the smiley face, click on work and see NOTHING. All my work is gone. I tried everything I could, but nothing changed, I was very frustrated and lost a lot of time and energy. I also lost any desire to study and do anything in this area. At the next day, I fixed everything I lost, but I pressed Save button and all my work deleted again. I don’t know why because I pressed Save button many times and nothing saved. Have you ever had the same problem?
Wow. That's a lot of lost stuff and i would be devastated. I did lose my Predator sculpt but I simply forgot to save him. Other than that I haven't had a single crash yet so its not good that that is your experience.
@@yularchi5034 How did you contact support? Did you use support form on the website? I can confirm that we have not received anything about this :S If you have a scene file that crashes we'd be really really happy to see it and see if there is anything wrong ;)
Thanks for watching. Let me know how you are going to incorporate some of these tips into your sculpting on Forger?

Well, look who joined us. My good friend and super talented Mr. Michelangelo
You can also quickly switch to smooth tool from any tool, by double tap on the apple pencil. I found it much easier that holding the smooth icon.
Excellent reminder, thanks!
Only with the new pencil 😭
Sebastian and the Deep Blue also an excellent point
SouthernGFX I got pad envy over here
Came here from Uncle Jessy as well. Nice tutorials without dragging it out. Thanks.

Thanks, I will do! There is plenty more to come.

Hey, how do you go to isometric view ?
is it possible to sculpt asymmetrical ? i mean when we touch left side doesn't effect the right side?
thank you
Yeah. Little symmetry button on the side
Ótimo vídeo, vendo tutoriais antes de compra-lo. obrigado.!
você é muito bem vindo meu amigo. Obrigado pelas suas palavras gentis
How can I pull the MENU BAR next to SIDEBAR?
How does lighting work? Can you have multiple light sources? Colored lights? Light radiating from inside a sculpture? I have not seen any videos on lighting for this app...
Does it have to be left handed?

If you want to do this professionally you need to learn ZBrush or similar.

Hey let me know if you find the answer for this question, I’m having the same problem xoxo
I just downloaded the app. How do I get rid of that grid they start me off with? I don’t see if on your screen
Look for the little sphere at the bottom. Click that and turn off grid.

Did you report it to the devs? Please do.

Yes, but they didn’t respond
