The first of three "Corny the Rooster" live/animated commercials for Kellogg's Corn flakes done by Hanna Barbera, directed by the great Wally Burr starring Billy Bowles, circa 1964.
This was when rotoscoping live actors into a graphic background was new. "The new adventures of Huck Finn" was one popular effort. It premiered as a feature on the 1969 "Banana Splits" show.
I love how these ads make Corn Flakes seem better than they really are lol. Even today you could make ads for them targeting kids and they'll want them
I was looking for the Kellogg's Corn Flakes commercial with the toy train and the water tower with milk. I remember it from The Flintstones (when Kellogg's sponsored the show back in the 60s ) I was looking for the commercial so I can show it to my son
The 1966 version stressed their "Tall Up" slogan, with the kid literally growing to "giant size" after eating a bowl of Corn Flakes, saving Corny from the gator's fate....
