i was the pk in mege team... when you have only one bar of hp and no way to heal yourself its better to harrass the opponent but not riskying to die. i was hoping for an execution to heal a bit :-)
Defending seems to be absolutely impossible. On the first map all 3 flag points for your team are spread out from top to bottom, and even on this second one, while the offense and defense flags were close and defensible, for some fucking reason Ubisoft thought it was a good idea to put it a good 50 feet away OUTSIDE the main building. With all 3 flag points so far away from eachother and how fast it is to steal a flag, you need to have at least 3 people on defense and 1 running between them as a reinforcement, but even then if the enemy just groups and rushes a point, they can grab the flag and be gone before the defending team can respond. Add to this respawn delays, spawning all over the map like a Skirmish match instead of spawning at your team's base (wtf Ubi?) and how fast assassins can run, and it seems virtually impossible to win by actually capturing and defending all 3 flags. The only way to win seems to be able to have the most flags right as the timer runs out, which promotes just holding onto two flags and running around, then placing them in their slots right at the last few seconds, which was probably not Ubi's intention. Whoever was in charge of designing this mode should be fired if this shit isn't changed before it's released. Flags should be much closer together in some sort of defensible "home base" with only a few entrances, they should take longer to steal, and respawns should all be in that "home base" so that a defending team has some chance at actually defending.
Looks, cool but that spawn delay, I hate spawn delay why is it in any game :? Its even worse in this mode it penalizes you for doing well it looks like. Maybe it should be a points accumulated thing instead tho, its gonna suck if you hold 2 of the tributes all game and then last 10 secs they remove both of them so you end up losing the game even though you dominated all match. Also you play, PC with a controller, how do you switch targets so quickly without unlocking? I cant figure that out on PS4 I know you just hit Left-ALT on keyboard if using Mouse and Keyboard. Also hope they add a 4th loadout now for customization xD I have mine set up by game mode, for which gear stats and feats I think work best in that mode (ie often dont need debuff resistance in Elimination unless regularly facing Nibushi or PK poison)

Since they don't have all 3 the respawn time is shorter too. I don't know what to think about that yet. So if you get all 3 the time required to defend them should be much shorter
Or I should be a point accumulation thing so if you have to all round you don't lose last second just from their removal, but if they get all 3 they can freeze you out and still comeback for a win.
I just played the new mode and I've mixed feelings about it. On one hand it's interesting, the offerings add an interesting dynamic to the game but on the other hand it feels like a glorified dominion match that doesn't seem to matter until you have all three offerings. I'll play some more to see if I can come up with more to say, but this is how I feel after 7matches
Full knight team on the second game and now don't say that it is not because the Centurion or Gladiator are not in it replacing the Peacekeeper ( people hate Peacekeeper, she's a good hero people ) but the Peacekeeper is part of the team as well even though people don't like her like I do and I main her, rep 9 :P so low :/
Not gonna lie this doesn't look too fun, though maybe that's more misunderstanding it. They make a big point on how the aim of the game is to get 3 blessings, though in reality it's more like a fixed 10 minute game with the 3 blessings acting as a mercy rule.

Yeah should be hold the flags to raise your team score more flags more points or every time you capture you gain points. That way if a team is "winning" the entire match they don't lose in the last 10 secs unless the other team manages to cap majority of points and out score them.
I am more concerned about other assasins, shinobi has a very strong level 4 healing feat. The others only have the bounty hunter feat. But the heal banner will have some use at last.
If the ledge isn't too high (ie if you land a kill it'll restore HP) most ledges aren't you run up to the ledge or you push up against it until your hero leans forward and looks down and press attack usually Heavy attack works best. This allows you to launch an unblockable instant kill on a player (if you hit them with it), it can be dodged easily though (exclamation mark appears on guard indicator and screen edge (i believe)) might even be parryable but I would try that.

And out of no where I get penalized for 59mins for a tournament I didn't even fucking play...... I was gold and strip completely down to silver and no bars
Mege yeah I mean like, not what I remember you used to be able to do in ganks. I'm pretty sure you used to parry tons of heavies in ganks and in 1v1s but I didn't see nearly as many in this video.
Sony and Microsoft have to verify everything that passes through their systems so test servers are super slow on consoles because of that extra verification step. Other companies do the same on other games, since test servers change like every week potentially with patches they cant wait a week or 2 for the console approval.

Game mode looks a lot of fun, going to by a good game for a teams.
