How to Prepare Platinum for a Perfect Polished Finish

cbilton.creato... For those of you who may be working in platinum for the first time or simply researching jewellery making tips in this video I give a little insight as to what to expect when it comes to finishing your platinum piece.
Platinum has unusual characteristics. Its very heavy, its quite soft and easy to bend but at the same time extremely hard wearing.
Being a very long lasting metal able to easily withstand normal day to day wear and tear for many years combined with its bright illustrious fully polished finish its is always the superior choice for hand made jewellery pieces.
Watching the video I hope you will come to understand how much more hardwearing it is than gold by my demonstration of the amount of necessary work needed to prepare it for polishing. It literally needs 3 times as much work at the bench compared to gold.
