Copying the QO100 satellite with small dish

Leasurely copy of the QO100 satellite beacons and SSB traffic using a Marconi 38 cm offset dish and modified SPC PLL LNB. The LNB is DC biased from my modified FRG-9600 through a 24 dB homebrew pad. Related audio characteristics: the LNB TCXO is slightly challenged (frequency drift) with with typical Finnish conditions and the FRG-9600 PLL has some residual phase jitter issues. Furthermore, at least my particular FRG-9600 model becomes quite microphonic at sub-zero temperatures, hence the external speaker. SSB and CW are however totally copiable with this cost effective, battery operated, standalone downlink receiver ;-)
