I tried Cherry Punk a couple of weeks ago and came to the same conclusion - when my Lost Cherry runs out, I'm getting that one instead. It's edgier, lasts longer and costs a third 👌. I recommend you try another two fragrances from Liquides Imaginaires: Blanche Bête (a floral, lactonic semi-gourmand fragrance with just a hint of incense) and Dom Rosa (a cool, rose petals & champagne 🍾 scent). Love your videos and your sense of humor ♡

@@denisew.4371 I wouldn't know. I live in Italy and was lucky enough to test it several times in a store before taking the plunge and getting a full bottle. It was love at first sniff for me, but I don't recommend you buy it blind as it's pricey and I doubt it would appeal to everyone.

I love these types of videos from you😍😍. I sampled Sandalsun in early December and thought it was very light, I was expecting more oomph from it🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. I have a sample of Desert Suave and it pulls quite masculine on my skin🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. RM no 3 is nice but will not be adding it to my collection😱😱. Cherry Punk, oh dear, this one I go back and forth with it🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. The opening is glorious but the dry down I keep getting more and sometimes less leather🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. I got a tiny 1ml of Dancing Light by Olfactive Studio before Christmas and it wasn't enough to get a good idea of lasting power. So I bought an 8ml decant. I'm loving it, but if I continue to love it and get through it, only then I will get a 50 or 100ml. This is how I wanna go about perfumes this year. Loved your video Veronica 💕

Great review........not too long, love the diversity of frags. You probably already know; TF's 2023 new releases (two are cherry centric) I think are large 200 ml's, selling for $300+(?)!! . One has received less than stellar reviews so far. If one can afford them, go for it, but there are so many choices today. Oh, thanks for reviewing Cherry Punk, not crazy about Suede/leather note (I can sniff one of my handbags lol)). I had planned on getting a SAMPLE.

The Al Contrario bottle is not my favorite. I do love the scent. It’s not talked about much on RUclips as compared to many others from this house. I loved hearing your experience with it! ❤
I was in Burlington looking for a blanket and when I went to check out, I saw a perfume I'd never heard of but it didn't look like it belonged there. I looked it up and it has great reviews so I grabbed it. It's really lovely... Tobacco & Tonka Bean by Banana Republic. It's a skin scent for sure, definitely leans feminist but I'd love it on a man. I wish it had better projection but for what I paid, no problem! It's so warm, cozy and smooth. Not a ton of tobacco but it's there. The plum, vanilla and Tonka are wonderful together. 💜
When you talked about Chemise Blanche it rang a bell so I checked my notes in my phone and yes I had purchased a sample in my Jan 2021 scentsplit order! 😂 so of course I ran upstairs to find it, but I forgot the name of the house so I had to run back downstairs, then ran back upstairs to find it in alphabetical order, and dabbed it right on! It’s so pretty ! 🧺☀️🤍🫧 Lately I’ve been wanting to get a sample of Duchessa, I’ve heard Elizabeth Grace talk about it so much on TikTok, it does sound beautiful! I have a sample of Cherry Punk, but it’s a little bit too cherry cherry for me, I like a little more depth. Then again, I can only smell the cherry in Venom of love, I don’t get any of the chocolate- maybe my nose is so sensitive to cherry that it overpowers and obliterates any other notes? 🤷🏻♀️ ..which is why I thought Duchessa might be good for me, the supporting notes would hold up and not let the cherry take over.. maybe? Lol

I brought TF lost cherry 🍒 off the Fragrance oil and it does smell like cough syrup to me. SB is very clean while Paragon is very spa like & reminds me of a yoga class. LOL - also I’ve tried a few Naomi Goodsir frags & the one that stood out to me was Nuit de Bakélite. 💕

I’m obsessed with coffee and I only drink dark roast, super dark roast and don’t like when there is tons of sugar and cream. Been looking for a fragrance that’s like this considering that’s my actual version of what coffee smells like TO ME. But most versions are tooth achingly sweet. Just got a sample of Akro the other day and yep, exactly what I was wanting! Hoping I can find it on sale though. 😊
Veronica, you've got to smell Billie Eilish's fragrance if you haven't yet. People kept telling me how good it is but I thought, "yeah, yeah. It's probably just like all the celebrity fragrances." It's such a lovely chocolatey vanilla scent. Very sweet but yummy.
I have sniffed it at Ulta and tried it. Pretty good! 👍💯👌I went back and forth on whether to get it and decided no for now. Have you tried the latest one in the black bottle? I'm super curious about it.
Funny how our sense of smell is so different from person to person, I believed the hype on the Cherry Punk and blind bought it, I was repulsed by the smell. I love this series Veronica ❤ so much fun. I’ve tried a few in this set. Iris Celadon - crackly aldehydes with soapy Iris and leather with a sprinkle of cocoa. Intriguing. I bought a decant. Within 2 wears was in love. Hunted down a bottle - I get lots of sillage but not loud on the skin. Delightful. Desert Suave. Gorgeously fruity (dried fruits/sweet tobacco and light woods) reminded me some of Rouge Sâray…liked it. I have a bunch from LI that I want to try. Blanche Bête was awesome rice pudding without being sickly sweet. I bought Fleur de Sable (salt on the wind, warm skin and a light fruity rose overlaid with crunchy amber) - my brother loved it and stole sprays. Dom Rosa is current sample. Very interesting herbal sparkling beverage. Not made my mind up yet. But unique. Al Contrario was a no. Felt like missing/muted notes. Biscuity with a touch of lemon…meh. Francesca Dell’Oro OneMore does it better. Cherry Punk is interesting, trying in summer may not be fair. It burns off fast though I like it. It feels light even with the black leather. Not a massive cherry fan and (unpopular opinion) don’t rate Lost Cherry - over priced and under performing. I’m a no to coffee. I love to drink it and smell the real thing. But to strong a coffee note (same with caramel/toffee notes) makes me feel queasy. Only one I have in my collection is an ancient bottle of BN9 New Haarlem.

For me it could go either way though. Fahrenheit, famously had a gasoline note and I’m intoxicated by it. Add vanilla?!? Could work. I have Dark Lord in my collection because of you and it is so stirring and compellingly radiant and dark! Maybe even raunchy? Upscale raunch though, high brow! Hi Veronica. I'm "a real one" 🤗 I think the cherry in Cherry Punk is fabulous but to me, unfortunately, its 50% cherry and 50% leather and that made me realise I don't like leather! If the leather was more like 10% or 20% I'd probably love it. I must be in the minority as all the you tube fragrance reviewers have raved about it 😕
Forgot to mention, I have Al Contrario and love it so much boring bottle yes! LOL And Sandalsun, very warm one I enjoy a lot also and unique bottle!! ( Thanks to @theperfumenest ) 💙

Video idea: weird fragrance scent association (like smelling like toast or something like that). Everytime I wear my decant of lune feline it smells like the shoe polish my mom used to use, at least the first hour or so. But it's somehow nostalgic for me.

Hello lovely Veronica, thanks for sharing all your latest adventures in sampling with us. From your list the only one I have tried and blind bought earlier this month was a 50 ml of Hermetica Sandalsun. I saw it on Joss's collection video and was curious about what an oil based perfume would perform like. I didn't have any fragrances with hazelnut notes, I like sandalwood and it seemed like a good candidate to venture into the fragrance line. I have to say the long list of fragrance notes didn't all become apparent in my wearing of it. It does start for me with a strong toasted hazelnut and then not too long after (on my first wear at least) made me think of popcorn and then after a little while longer I think of coconut but it could be a mix of the vanilla, sandalwood and nuttiness making me think that way. I didn't think of it being overly woody. It felt more gourmand to me. It doesn't project a lot but leaves a close scent bubble and it wears as a skin scent for a very long time on me. I have been using it quite a bit under one of my vanilla fragrances and enjoying it that way too. It has made me wonder if some of their perfumes would be ideal for boosting the longevity of other perfumes. I am curious to try some of their other fragrances to see what they are like. Just because it's novel for me. I haven't ventured into the world of oil perfumery, but it seems to have it's fans. It looks like we may see a hot pink bottle hit your shelves soon. Gritti was a real cherry version of oud for greatness for me. Loved it at first but the saffron is too much. Adore Oriana, I need a bottle of that one too!
Duchessa is beautiful on , I have a full bottle and the longer it sits the better it wears , I got a a good 6 hours but the cherry intensity does fade abit❤

That Oriana bottle is eye candy to me! Not in my budget though. I agree as to samples, pros and cons, but I plan a repeat of 2022 and buy samples, some sites have larger ones or I'll buy two small ones. I dislike more than I like, so samples work for me. Sometimes, I just want to sample period. CHERRY PUNK samples sell out quickly. * I like Ministry of Scents; good to buy from, lots of Niche house choices.

Desert Suave is so unique, I think it’s the sweetness of the dates that I love.
I'll definitely be trying it again. I'm not typically a fan of a date note, but overall, I thought it was a great scent. And what a cool name! 💯💖🥰

I got a tiny 1ml of Dancing Light by Olfactive Studio before Christmas and it wasn't enough to get a good idea of lasting power. So I bought an 8ml decant. I'm loving it, but if I continue to love it and get through it, only then I will get a 50 or 100ml. This is how I wanna go about perfumes this year.

I was in Burlington looking for a blanket and when I went to check out, I saw a perfume I'd never heard of but it didn't look like it belonged there. I looked it up and it has great reviews so I grabbed it. It's really lovely... Tobacco & Tonka Bean by Banana Republic. It's a skin scent for sure, definitely leans feminist but I'd love it on a man. I wish it had better projection but for what I paid, no problem! It's so warm, cozy and smooth. Not a ton of tobacco but it's there. The plum, vanilla and Tonka are wonderful together. 💜

When you talked about Chemise Blanche it rang a bell so I checked my notes in my phone and yes I had purchased a sample in my Jan 2021 scentsplit order! 😂 so of course I ran upstairs to find it, but I forgot the name of the house so I had to run back downstairs, then ran back upstairs to find it in alphabetical order, and dabbed it right on! Lately I’ve been wanting to get a sample of Duchessa, I’ve heard Elizabeth Grace talk about it so much on TikTok, it does sound beautiful! I have a sample of Cherry Punk, but it’s a little bit too cherry cherry for me, I like a little more depth. Then again, I can only smell the cherry in Venom of love, I don’t get any of the chocolate- maybe my nose is so sensitive to cherry that it overpowers and obliterates any other notes? 🤷🏻♀️ ..which is why I thought Duchessa might be good for me, the supporting notes would hold up and not let the cherry take over.. maybe? I’m obsessed with coffee and I only drink dark roast, super dark roast and don’t like when there is tons of sugar and cream. Been looking for a fragrance that’s like this considering that’s my actual version of what coffee smells like TO ME. But most versions are tooth achingly sweet. Just got a sample of Akro the other day and yep, exactly what I was wanting! Hoping I can find it on sale though. 😊

Funny how our sense of smell is so different from person to person, I believed the hype on the Cherry Punk and blind bought it, I was repulsed by the smell. I’ve tried a few in this set.
Iris Celadon - crackly aldehydes with soapy Iris and leather with a sprinkle of cocoa. Intriguing. I bought a decant. Within 2 wears was in love. Hunted down a bottle - I get lots of sillage but not loud on the skin. Delightful.
Desert Suave. Gorgeously fruity (dried fruits/sweet tobacco and light woods) reminded me some of Rouge Sâray…liked it.
I have a bunch from LI that I want to try. Blanche Bête was awesome rice pudding without being sickly sweet.
I bought Fleur de Sable (salt on the wind, warm skin and a light fruity rose overlaid with crunchy amber) - my brother loved it and stole sprays.
Dom Rosa is current sample. Very interesting herbal sparkling beverage. Not made my mind up yet. But unique.
Al Contrario was a no. Felt like missing/muted notes. Biscuity with a touch of lemon…meh. Francesca Dell’Oro OneMore does it better.
Cherry Punk is interesting, trying in summer may not be fair. It burns off fast though I like it. It feels light even with the black leather. Not a massive cherry fan and (unpopular opinion) don’t rate Lost Cherry - over priced and under performing.
I’m a no to coffee. I love to drink it and smell the real thing. But to strong a coffee note (same with caramel/toffee notes) makes me feel queasy. Only one I have in my collection is an ancient bottle of BN9 New Haarlem.

I’m telling you, often when folks are describing perfumes they don’t like, I’m adding to my wish list! Gasoline and vanilla?!? I’ve got to try. For me it could go either way though. Fahrenheit, famously had a gasoline note and I’m intoxicated by it. Add vanilla?!? Could work.
I have Dark Lord in my collection because of you and it is so stirring and compellingly radiant and dark! Maybe even raunchy? Upscale raunch though, high brow!

I think the cherry in Cherry Punk is fabulous but to me, unfortunately, its 50% cherry and 50% leather and that made me realise I don't like leather! If the leather was more like 10% or 20% I'd probably love it. I must be in the minority as all the you tube fragrance reviewers have raved about it 😕

From your list the only one I have tried and blind bought earlier this month was a 50 ml of Hermetica Sandalsun. I saw it on Joss's collection video and was curious about what an oil based perfume would perform like. I didn't have any fragrances with hazelnut notes, I like sandalwood and it seemed like a good candidate to venture into the fragrance line. I have to say the long list of fragrance notes didn't all become apparent in my wearing of it. It does start for me with a strong toasted hazelnut and then not too long after (on my first wear at least) made me think of popcorn and then after a little while longer I think of coconut but it could be a mix of the vanilla, sandalwood and nuttiness making me think that way. I didn't think of it being overly woody. It felt more gourmand to me. It doesn't project a lot but leaves a close scent bubble and it wears as a skin scent for a very long time on me. I have been using it quite a bit under one of my vanilla fragrances and enjoying it that way too. It has made me wonder if some of their perfumes would be ideal for boosting the longevity of other perfumes. I am curious to try some of their other fragrances to see what they are like. Just because it's novel for me. I haven't ventured into the world of oil perfumery, but it seems to have it's fans.

I agree as to samples, pros and cons, but I plan a repeat of 2022 and buy samples, some sites have larger ones or I'll buy two small ones. I dislike more than I like, so samples work for me.

De marley femme scents are over $400 here in Australia. I bought the body oil of Delina...nice, but not worth $400 IMO. I have a sample of Oriana. I like it but again, not worth my $400
