    You guys are always the best. There are dozens of these Chiefs channels and I only really look forward to you guys analyzing the game. I check out many others but they are pretty much plain vanilla. Keep up the good work. I was embarrassed for Mahomes in that Raiders game with those tackles being swinging gates... maybe more like orange highway cones. I can't count how many times I saw Morris trailing after some rusher he didn't even manage to touch and just helplessly watch him cream Mahomes. I wish the NFL had Triple A football to send these struggling acquisitions down to so they can work on live plays but not get a half billion dollar QB injured.

    The play calling was a tire fire. Get the ball out of Pat’s hands when the tackles are that bad. What happened to the run? Just bad.

      Playcalling was fine. Felt like mahomes refused to play within structure. And that doesn’t work when the line is falling apart.

      So many contrarians chiming in to say that its not on this other person or is on this other person. Its on everyone. Its on the coaches. Its on the oline. It's on the receivers. It's on the tightends. It's on Mahomes. Everyone is playing a part in the failure. Everyone shoulders blame. The oline can't block, especially around the edges. Mahomes is not getting the ball out quick enough and his accuracy has been off even after holding on to the ball too long. He is also sailing the ball over the heads of guys or throwing passes out of bounds. The WRs aren't getting open and have been dropping passes or havent kept their feet in bounds. Kelce is dropping passes and not playing up to his normal level. The coaches aren't putting help on the outside so that the tackles get overrun and they aren't using the run game to support the passing game. The coaches also aren't holding players accountable. All of the comments are correct except for the part where they claim its NOT on someone and then they screw their comment up because it is on everyone.

      @@Bizoza9 I agree with the comment. I also believe the playcalling was moronic. If there's no protection, run the football.

    Why do they even try to encourage returns on kickoffs.. I've seen very little reward and lots of damage on big returns. I think Connor was out of breath on the Bower coverage after running down the returner as well.

    5 quick thoughts. Quit the garbage shovel pass. Glad to see Nazeeh Johnson benched finally.
    Wanya Morris stinks but fans thinking Suamatia is better are crazy. Thuney was bad as the emergency tackle.
    Raiders kicker was 1/4 yet media acting like he’d for sure nail the long fg to win the game.

    19:33 Yes! There are not enough “safety valves” built into many of these plays
    And on a somewhat related note, I’d like to see a couple more designed looks for the RBs in the passing game. Just a simple Texas route, I’m begging you Andy. I don’t think they’ve called one since the Bengals game in 2023.
    A screen would be nice too. Especially considering the DL is pinning their ears back every snap. You have to be able to use that aggression against them and burn them from time to time

    Well this gives us 6 wins due to the other team giving us the game. The real problem I am seeing is our offense is one dimensional with Pat on throwing downs. He is no longer moving left and right as often and is now moving up in the pocket with out a receiver being open. The problem is the opponents have figured out why we are doing this to hide from their end around rushes that are coming right through. Our defense is also very predictable and our corners are slower than even other teams tight ends. Bowers is at least 30lbs heavier than anyone in our secondary and outran everyone of them including McDuffy. We need some accountability like an extra practice where we learn how to tackle again 31 missed against the Raiders and even more against the Bills. We also need to catch the ball before we run 2 drops this week. And of course the big one is Pat is rushing his throws in a panic mode like a rookie and over shooting wide open receivers every game and leads the league in interceptions. Don't even get me started on the play calling it was horrible especially the run game, not enough screens and running back tosses. To get to the Superbowl we need a new OC who can call plays and take some of the pressure off Andy doing everything himself. We also need an OC who increases the accountability as needed hate to say but I am missing EB right now for that one thing he did really well. The Raiders OC and his Dad showed what good play calling looks like.

      it's about depth. KC doesn't have the depth most of the other teams have. They haven't need to, because this is the first year they've been riddled with injuries. In the past it's been 2-3 at the most and of those the key players didn't have season-ending.

  • @DetrimentalDarlings

    A lot of people have been getting mad at people that defend Mahomes, but what do expect when a qb has no time? I imagine most other QBs would be playing significantly worse if they were in his position. Yes, hold him accountable, but blaming the tackles aren’t excuses. Throwing for over 300 yards with those tackles is quite impressive.

  • @aragorn7233
    @aragorn7233 18 дней назад

    The offensive line was not providing the ability to run the ball and subsequently the defense was able to bring more pressure.

    In answer to your concerns about PM not having any protection: clearly! More clearly, to even a guy who isn't a coach, is that if you have to keep people in to help block, then that is what MUST be done. You can holler at the men who are failing the job, but it won't make them do it any better. Either address the problem or expect more of the same. Really that simple! I dare someone to argue otherwise? Hopefully the new faces are going to make a difference but until such time the Chiefs are healthy again, they may have to cut back on the fancy stuff and hope running the ball ie, smash mouth football, will get them to where they are again healthy to do the things Andy is such a genius at doing. I mean you can only do so many short passes / screen type plays before the defense is going to be there for the pass before our guys. Since we cannot pass protect we MUST run the ball! A lot! then the play action opens up which buys time on its own merit.

    • @bradasskg11

      @bradasskg11 they really weren't giving wanya much help if u go back and watch all 22 but it's hard to give wanya help with Crosby on the other side. But to ur point, they left 9 ppl in to protect mahomes on 3rd and 2 and kelce completely missed his block so even when they do leave people in to help they still get beat. After the loss to the bucs in the superbowl they said they would never be put in that situation again with OLine but yet here we are

    • @NhatWhelk
      @NhatWhelk 17 дней назад

      I agree but if the 5 players in the offensive line won't protect Patrick, then take some radical steps before you lose your "golden goose". Leave the RB in to block on passing downs, use the two or three TE formation every down, RUN THE BALL over 50% of the time, find someone else to call the plays, add a 6th offensive lineman like we do at the goal line...

    The frustration for me is that I watch a team that is like me, their slackers. They are so good they can slack and then make up for things before the bell rings. Problem is everybody gets caught eventually when they do that. Worse is, the longer you get away with it, the more it starts to become habit. Now I know the O line is not great. But I am seeing PM get sacked when in times past he would have scrambled out of it, Not putting him down! I am saying the kid has played more football than anybody else in the league basically, teamates excepted. He's tired. Physically and moreso, mentally. He won't admit it. and he may manage to play through it, but that is what I am seeing.
    RB coming back healthy will of course help. But here's the real fly in the ointment. Why is it that when time is running out, and we have to get it done, despite the fact that the defense has their nickel and dime packages in, basically their very best defense against the pass, and yet when all that is on the line, we can get down there in 13 freakin' seconds if we have to. !!!!! Yeah I know that was a miracle. Quit splitting hairs. You know my point! Why is it that when the defense has their best damn solution against the pass and especially gaining yardage in a fast manner ie getting the damn ball down there on their end and into the endzone, .... Why are we successful despite all odds at that point? But we suck the way we have for more than 4 freakin' weeks?

    IMAGINE being Responsible in the Middle of a Dynasty for 15 getting HURT & DOWN, Well Changes Must be Made- OBVIOUSLY. Why would ANDY want that - The Team is a MESS, We should have at Least 4 Losses. I bet even the Owner is Very Upset, And ALL of US are so angry, that we can't even Speak - Anymore. These 9 days are IT for the Coaches and the Organizations to get Squared/Away. Yes all the Injuries are very Difficult - But IMAGINE if 15 was DONE.

      Post-game, Chris Jones implied as much. But the Raiders have had the same schedule for the last three weeks, at least. From 11/24 to 12/25, 32 days, the Chiefs play 6 games. And on crazy schedules. That isn’t reasonable.
