I took my dad, who'd seen Pink Floyd twice in the '70's to see them a year before he passed. He thought it was the greatest thing he'd ever seen. Best move I ever made in my life.
Okay so if Brit Floyd were to play at the Super Bowl what would be songs that they would play mine would be for songs they will start off with coming to life Another Brick in the Wall with kids singing just like they do after show Learning to Fly and end it with run like hell what would be yours?
Batboy Carroll Batboy, You Are Right On With That Statement.Producer & Featured Lead Guitarist Along With Bass Player & Lead Singer Ian Catell... Were Formerly With Australian Pink Floyd...A Great Cover Band As Well. Damien, I Believe ..Took The Floyd Experience To Another Level. Not Only With A Superior Sound System & Adding Very Talented Musicians & Excellent Backup Singers...Buy Also Investing I Believe I Read A Million Dollars In Improvements Of Stage Lighting, Lasers & Video. It All Paid Off w Well As I Traveled To Cincinnati Last Year To See Them @ The Historic Taft Theatre. It Was Indeed..One Of The Finest Performances I've Ever Seen!
Batboy Carroll Indeed. I NEVER thought I could appreciate any Tribute bands at all. Then I heard Brit Floyd & Australian Floyd, where lead guitarist Damien Darlington, originally got his start. Damien, after leaving the Aussie band, truly refined the sounds and nuances in Brit Floyd. So impressed with them on RUclips, I traveled to Cincinnati last year to see them @ the historic Taft Theatre. Though a smaller venue, Brit Floyd played well over Two Hours. The sound system & light show were unbelievable! I want to go see them yet again!
wvufreak56 They jad BETTER play at least 2 hours... the original Floyd did 4 hour sets on the regular. I had a ticket to see them in Oakland in '94 for the Division Bell album... I had the ticket, was at the venue but.... I did not get in. My ticket was inside with friends who made it there first (the one friend driving that car lost us on the freeway... trying to race his mom mobile against a '94 Mustang... I was a bit irritated). At least it sounded awesome and I found a guy outside that at least smoked a J with me... sober me was only getting more and more irritated the longer I had to sit outside and think about what went wrong and how this happened.
I did not know this was even a thing!!! Now I must go see them!!! Closest thing we are going to get to seeing live Floyd now... though, some would argue the band died when Waters split... And Waters is WAY TOO damned political for me to even sit through one of his show renditions... And when I say political... I don't mean lije what fueled alot of his songs from back in the day. I mean the kind of political he would have written an album against back in said day!
In my opinion this song is the greatest thing ever put to music by anyone, anywhere, anytime... ever. This is a masterpiece. I love the way Gilmour stretches his notes in this song, you have captured that. I'm IMPRESSED.
I've heard a lot of bands try, and ultimately fail while trying to cover Pink Floyd. You're the only ones I know of who have managed to capture the "essence" that is Pink Floyd. Great job guys! By the way, your David Gilmour looks like Michael Keaton.
Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day You fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way. Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town Waiting for someone or something to show you the way. Tired of lying in the sunshine Staying home to watch the rain. You are young and life is long And there is time to kill today. And then one day you find Ten years have got behind you. No one told you when to run, You missed the starting gun. And you run and you run to catch up with the sun But it's sinking And racing around to come up behind you again. The sun is the same in a relative way But you're older, Shorter of breath and one day closer to death. Every year is getting shorter Never seem to find the time. Plans that either come to naught Or half a page of scribbled lines Hanging on in quiet desparation is the English way The time has gone, the song is over, Thought I'd something more to say. Home, home again I like to be here when I can When I come home cold and tired It's good to warm my bones beside the fire Far away, across the field The tolling of the iron bell Calls the faithful to their knees To hear the softly spoken magic spells
This here might be Waters' most moving and "profound," lyrics. Even with repeated listening they still bring a tear to my eyes. Aptly followed by the superb and (nearly) wordless masterpiece that is the Great Gig in the Sky.
This band pays tribute to pink Floyd, it's the best thing that has ever been organized. With the permission of the genuine Pink Floyd, they leave in very good note the songs are fantastic
The Floyd lives!!! Awesome performance. I've been a Floyd fan from way back. I was sad to see the end of an era but you guys are keeping it alive. Richard would be proud of you. And David can't argue with the awesome guitar work either. Good work guys. Keep it up.
Carlos David Gilmour Has Been Very Complimentary In His Praise Of This Amazing Tribute Band. When A Few Members Of This Band Were In Aussie Floyd...David Hired Them To Perform At his Birthday Party. He Also Showed Up At A Concert And Had A Beer Backstage With The Band Years Ago!
Bobby Harrison completely slayed that guitar solo. Almost had an eargasm with those perfect riffs!! Shame that he's left the band now. A talent like him is a rarity.
I have seen this awsome group live and have seen roger and david and the boys and if you actually listen they very true to the real pink floyd music ....i would gladly pay to see them again in concert!!! If you never see them you have missed a real treat!
It's incredible how they apply faithfully the partition as dedicated pupils. I think that's a deep proof of respect, for those so talented musicians who would naturally try to create over it ... but maybe it's only a sort of devotion for those perfect melodies!
Where HAVE you been Sue?! These guys truly do the business - never, ever, miss the chance of seeing them live. I have followed them since the mid 90's and it just gets better and better and better.........!
I've seen them twice at Red Rocks. Some of the best concerts I've ever seen. They and their chorus are epic. If only PF would play RR and I could get tickets. Colorado loves Brit Floyd in concert at Red Rocks. Welcome anytime.
Capturing the essence of the covered music eludes many a tribute band, but not this one. Incredible. You have to admire the discipline it takes to sound albumesque.
Just saw them a week ago. RUclips doesn't do this quite the justice. Granted this was 6 years ago. The live shows are something else. I definitely want to go again.
Brit Floyd has definitely imparted a fresh flavour to this popular number from the 1973 album of Pink Floyd. Watching this video brought back memories of analogue 33 1/3 rpm disc players that created rock music in smoke filled parties....
You are amazing guys, feeling Pink Floyd in classical Beethoven interpretation . ..knocks me out, how l used to memorize any single detail of this expressive compositions since l was a little girl yeah, you are orgasmic guys
Scary the whole thing its so perfect big its ben here the hole time thank you this is the most respected thing ever love and respect comferting truth u rock
Just saw this amazing band last night at the world's most amazing concert venue, Red Rocks Amphitheater. I am now a fan nearly as much as I am of the originals. I'm buying the DVD!
Awesome Guys.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You got it spot on. Very well done to you and Thank you. You`re take on the songs by one of the best bands in the world is incredible, You`re a credit to yourselves and the whole music industry.
Spine Tingling! no wonder you cats are nicks favorite! he said it was like seeing Floyd from a fan perspective which he never got the chance to of course! Long you live and high you Fly my Friends. CHEERS!
I'm not a very easy person to please especially when the real deal has been so very close for over 45 years, however I do have to give them a thumbs up.
Truly awe-inspiring*****Phenominal playing (awesome guitar solo), tone and singing. Absolutely amazing mix too! Perhaps the best Floyd tribute band I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot (also saw Floyd once and Roger twice). Rock on!
Hei, this performance is really fantastic... congratulations! and thank you for your friend request, we are honored! Greetings from Kasesparse Milano Italy.. Ciao
another brick in the wall of time echo's of eternity the beat goes on cheers brit from denver golden morrison home of coors and the silver bullet red rocks
I took my dad, who'd seen Pink Floyd twice in the '70's to see them a year before he passed. He thought it was the greatest thing he'd ever seen. Best move I ever made in my life.
Brit floyd next years halftime super bowl whos with me?
great idea MAX
The real Pink Floyd would NOT allow that to happen.
Okay so if Brit Floyd were to play at the Super Bowl what would be songs that they would play mine would be for songs they will start off with coming to life Another Brick in the Wall with kids singing just like they do after show Learning to Fly and end it with run like hell what would be yours?
Love DSOTM

I just got to see them here in Pittsburgh & it was really amazing. Took my 14 year old who loves the music, glad he could experience it live!
This is one of the greatest covers I've ever seen of this song... You guys are a true Tribute band!
Ryan DeFrees Amen...The Best Cover Band Out There.......
Ah the good ole days with Pink Floyd.. Brit Floyd is close enough for me! Sit back and reminisce!
Brit Floyd is 99.9% as good as Pink Floyd was in their prime. I saw them live last year. One of the best live performance I have ever seen.
greatest song of all time, second to none
I saw Floyd in 87 this Brit Floyd is amazing
In my opinion this song is the greatest thing ever put to music by anyone, anywhere, anytime... ever. This is a masterpiece. I love the way Gilmour stretches his notes in this song, you have captured that. I'm IMPRESSED.
You know, the original is always the best, but.....DAMN this is so friggin good!
Terrific! Sound, chorus, development.
Can't tell from the original. perfect.
Thank you SO MUCH for playing the album solo........
I'm with you on halftime show. Perfect
I've heard a lot of bands try, and ultimately fail while trying to cover Pink Floyd. You're the only ones I know of who have managed to capture the "essence" that is Pink Floyd. Great job guys!

The best band to cover Pink Floyd
The solo man killed it!
whats that dudes name
Bobby Harrison

Such a depressing yet beautiful song.
this song is the story of my life and makes me CRY
This band pays tribute to pink Floyd, it's the best thing that has ever been organized. With the permission of the genuine Pink Floyd, they leave in very good note the songs are fantastic
These guys are fantastic,! I've never seen or heard anyone come close to cover pink Floyd, except these guys are amazing!!
Check out the Australian pink Floyd. Damien was in that band before he left to create music with these guys
The Floyd lives!!! Awesome performance. I've been a Floyd fan from way back. I was sad to see the end of an era but you guys are keeping it alive. Richard would be proud of you. And David can't argue with the awesome guitar work either. Good work guys. Keep it up.
I grew up on pink floyd damn I had near front row tickets to Britt Floyd When they were in Seattle but couldn't get there! SONOVEABITCH!
The best tribute to an amazing band I have seen... Pink Floyd should proud of what you guys just did...

Another great song by Brit Floyd classic rock is the only music that I lesson to 😊❤
"Which one is Brit?"
now that's funny.
Have a cigar and leave this question alone cause you’ll get brain damage.
oh yeah like in the song [which one's pink }
It's like saying which one is 'Pink' in Pink Floyd.
you're gonna go far
Stunning, folks. 👏👏👏
Bobby Harrison completely slayed that guitar solo. Almost had an eargasm with those perfect riffs!! Shame that he's left the band now. A talent like him is a rarity.
What's his replacement like?
The band had many, since then. They all did/do the job, but, as far as I'm concerned....none of 'em compared to David.
Best cover of all time👍👍👍
Solo is very true to the recording. Love it so much! Thank you
I have seen this awsome group live and have seen roger and david and the boys and if you actually listen they very true to the real pink floyd music ....i would gladly pay to see them again in concert!!! If you never see them you have missed a real treat!
Fuck, this takes me right back to that time when I discovered PF and played the album over and over and over
Brit Floyd, please come to Brazil !
I have a dream
It's incredible how they apply faithfully the partition as dedicated pupils. I think that's a deep proof of respect, for those so talented musicians who would naturally try to create over it ... but maybe it's only a sort of devotion for those perfect melodies!
I'm psyched to have just learned about Brit Floyd! And I LOVE LOVE LOVE Red Rocks! The one hour show is on my local PBS channel tonight.
Where HAVE you been Sue?! These guys truly do the business - never, ever, miss the chance of seeing them live. I have followed them since the mid 90's and it just gets better and better and better.........!
