How have you forgotten there are other 23 languages' States in India 🇮🇳 too; respective music industries since ages. Kishore Kumar mainly started his career with Bollywood & hindi; later sung many hit bengali songs. His majority popularity on national level is due to bollywood. My question is that; there r numerous ideologies/philosophy of lyrics & music 🎶 in each state of India; various voices: sharp, sweet, tenor, deep, bass, heavy etc. Many unpopular but skilled & experienced regional singers r there (both old & new). I know there r not as famous as Kishore Kr/ Rafi Ji/ Lata Ji etc. But do you think fame, star image ⭐ is last benchmark of arts ✍🎭🎶 ?????? And you r telling there can be no voice like him. You are correct✅. See, as Kishore Ji has a sweet shrill voice; in a similar way some regional can have xyz regional singer can have deeper soothing voice. The xyz singer can not inherit the shrill sweet tone of Kishore Ji; similarly Kishore Ji can not also inherit the deeper voice of the xyz singer. Now, in this context if you say Kishore Ji has only the best voice in India 🇮🇳; then it sounds childish. Why one artist need to be exactly like another to prove his excellence?? Sir, the real story of " ki ashai bandhi khela ghor" is little bit different. Shakti ji wanted some special tune for the film Amanush. They sat together with lyricist Gouri Babu and Shyamal babu' s brother, but didn't get the same. Then, brother of Shyamal babu proposed a song which was sung by Shyamal babu during his struggle period 15-16 yrs back on radio. This song was selected but then the real game started. Ruma ji told Kishore da not to sing a old song which was already aired by some other person. Even oneday Kishore da, misbehaved with Shyamal ji regarding this but shyamal ji convinced Kishore da in very polite tone that he sung this song on air and didn't record and oneday we will be no more but this song will be remembered for ever. Then Kishore Kumar agreed to record the same and produced another masterpiece.

One of the best song ever in a Bengali Movie Paaraabatpriya(1985) was rich with the voice of the greatest singer Kishore da, Anek Jamaano Byatha Bedona, Music Director was Ajay Das. This is certainly a heart-touching song. Another great number was Ogo Nirupama - 1972, Music Director was Hemant Kumar.

Actually I am very surprised to hear that Kishore Kumar hesitated to sing for bengali version of Amanush due to less popularity of Rajkumari songs, there must be other reasons also because during the time when Rajkumari songs were a moderate hit Kishore Kumar himself used to sing bengali modern songs every year during Durga Puja as "pujor gaan". These were published by HMV as EP records & all the 4 songs were sung by Kishore Kumar himself. He also composed himself most of these songs even 1or 2 songs was tunned by the Legendary Lata Mangeshkar & also by his son Amit Kumar. These songs were super duper hit every year & this continued till 1986 the year before Kishore Kumar passed away in 1987. I think you should make an episode about these Bangla pujor gaan albums of Kishore Kumar.

Amanush established Uttam Kishore pair as actor and singer which continued delivering hits till Uttam Kumar's death. Kishore Kumar never stopped singing Bengali film songs between 1970 and 1974. Kishore Kumar first sang in the composition of Shyamal Mitra in the 1970 film Padmagolap. The song Megh are Kuashay from this film was a big hit. One of the most popular Bengali film song of Kishore Kumar Ogo Nirupama in the composition of Hemant Kumar was from the film Anindita which was released in 1972 between Rajkimari and Amanush.
Just to add more to my last comment. The title of this video is totally incorrect. Kishore Kumar first sang in Bengali films in a film named Samar released in 1950. Through this film Kishore Kumar met his first wife Ruma who was the lead actress in the film. Then the second Bengali film of Kishore Kumar as a playback singer was Lukochuri which was released in 1958 and was his home production. There was huge gap in years between these 2 films. From Lukochuri till his death Kishore Kumar sang numerous Bengali film songs for himself and other actors. Kishore Kumar was initially reluctant to song for Uttam Kumar in Amanush as previously he sang for Uttam Kumar in 2 films Sabarmati (1969) and Rajkimari (1970) and the songs of these 2 films did not do well and both the films flopped. But Amanush created history and after Amanush Kishore Kumar mostly sang for Uttam Kumar in the composition of Shyamal Mitra.
Not quite correct. True Kishore was initially rejected by the audience as Uttam Kumar's voice in Rajkumari. Yet he had, since 1967 reigned as a hit singer with Akash Keno Daake, Aekdin Pakhi Ure Jaabe, Shey To Elona, Cholechi Aeka, Noyono Shoroshi Keno and several other non-film Puja songs. Amanush simply re-established him as a playback singer in Bengali films, but it is wrong to state that he was not popular as a singer in Bengal prior to Amanush.

You are absolutely wrong!! Kishore Kumar's superiority is accepted globally!! Irrespective of any particular community!! Moreover Bengali's are more fond of Rafi Sahab, and Mukesh and have greater respect for them, than Kishore Kumar!! They are equally respectful to other singers as well!! Kishore Kumar made a unique image for his naughty nuances on stage!! Do you think anyone other than Kishore Kumar would run, jump, crawl or lie down on stage infront of a frenzy crowd of thousands? Can you even imagine that Mukesh or Rafi Sahab lying down on stage in their three piece suit and singing? It was only him who has set this standard, and unfortunately no singer ever before or after him has done this!! Perhaps Michael Jackson is one with whom we can compare!! It was not at all a cake walk for Kishore Kumar to enter the music industry of Bengal!! He had to face a lot of resistance and cut through obstinate political walls!! Many music composers of Bengal strongly opposed his singing in the Bengal film industry!! Lots of hurdles he faced from Bengal!! Ironically and sadly enough the Bengali Doordarshan channel even boycotted his news of death!! So my dear friend, please don't be parochial and don't be judgemental before verifying the facts!!
In fact Kishore Kumar fell short in Rajkumari. He didn’t adjust his style for the personality of Uttam Kumar, which he amended in “Amanush”. Having said that, it is still Hemant Kumar or Manna Dey who are regarded as the most successful singers in the lips of Uttam Kumar.
Success of a movie, doesn't solely depend on music or songs. It's storyline matters more. Storyline of Amanush was more attractive. Songs of Rakkumari are still superb and there wasn't any negligence from the part of Kishor kumar.
The songs of Rajkumari are good to listen in isolation but not in the lips of Uttam Kumar because it didn’t match his personality. Kishore Kumar himself acknowledged it and made amends in Amanush onwards. If you listen carefully, you’ll find the difference in rendition.
You are right. Though lip sync by Uttam Kumar was perfect but, in the movie it appeared like from other sources voice is coming. I felt similar experience in movie "Chowrangi" when legendary singer Bhupen Hajarika sang for Uttam Kumar in the song, "Sagar sangame, snataar ketechhi kato, kokhonoto hoinai klanto......" Not quite correct. True Kishore was initially rejected by the audience as Uttam Kumar's voice in Rajkumari. Yet he had, since 1967 reigned as a hit singer with Akash Keno Daake, Aekdin Pakhi Ure Jaabe, Shey To Elona, Cholechi Aeka, Noyono Shoroshi Keno and several other non-film Puja songs. Amanush simply re-established him as a playback singer in Bengali films, but it is wrong to state that he was not popular as a singer in Bengal prior to Amanush.

You are absolutely wrong!! Kishore Kumar's superiority is accepted globally!! Irrespective of any particular community!!
Moreover Bengali's are more fond of Rafi Sahab, and Mukesh and have greater respect for them, than Kishore Kumar!! They are equally respectful to other singers as well!!
Kishore Kumar made a unique image for his naughty nuances on stage!! Do you think anyone other than Kishore Kumar would run, jump, crawl or lie down on stage infront of a frenzy crowd of thousands? Can you even imagine that Mukesh or Rafi Sahab lying down on stage in their three piece suit and singing? It was only him who has set this standard, and unfortunately no singer ever before or after him has done this!! Perhaps Michael Jackson is one with whom we can compare!!
It was not at all a cake walk for Kishore Kumar to enter the music industry of Bengal!! He had to face a lot of resistance and cut through obstinate political walls!! Many music composers of Bengal strongly opposed his singing in the Bengal film industry!! Lots of hurdles he faced from Bengal!! Ironically and sadly enough the Bengali Doordarshan channel even boycotted his news of death!! So my dear friend, please don't be parochial and don't be judgemental before verifying the facts!!

In fact Kishore Kumar fell short in Rajkumari. He didn’t adjust his style for the personality of Uttam Kumar, which he amended in “Amanush”. Having said that, it is still Hemant Kumar or Manna Dey who are regarded as the most successful singers in the lips of Uttam Kumar.
Success of a movie, doesn't solely depend on music or songs. It's storyline matters more. Storyline of Amanush was more attractive. Songs of Rakkumari are still superb and there wasn't any negligence from the part of Kishor kumar.
The songs of Rajkumari are good to listen in isolation but not in the lips of Uttam Kumar because it didn’t match his personality. Kishore Kumar himself acknowledged it and made amends in Amanush onwards. If you listen carefully, you’ll find the difference in rendition.
You are right. Though lip sync by Uttam Kumar was perfect but, in the movie it appeared like from other sources voice is coming.
I felt similar experience in movie "Chowrangi" when legendary singer Bhupen Hajarika sang for Uttam Kumar in the song, "Sagar sangame, snataar ketechhi kato, kokhonoto hoinai klanto......"
