I lived in America for past 20 years and I can tell you that child support is a death sentence and it’s not a joke. I have so many devastating stories and wish I can share them. Just for example, one Senegalese married a black American and they had two kids. The woman took 37% of each of his pay check, plus he had to pay her spouse alimony because were married, plus he gotta pay taxes, his rent, food, gas, car note etc and in end guy has nothing left to the point when his mother passed away, he couldn’t even afford to go for burial. That’s child support in a nutshell.
Ask me in the UK, 2 kids I pay half of my wages and because I cannot pay all my bills when I do overtime they take more as do income review every 3 months. So if I do overtime this month I will pay all my bills and support other relatives, however the following 3 months I will face it as they will consider the previous month wages as my normal income, system is totally a killer 😭😭
