Honestly, it’s been tough where I work at because it’s always short staff and we earn so much money (yknow looking at the POS system of how much you earn over 24 hrs a day) because where I live is near stadium and airport.
Congrats on becoming a team leader but it’s a lot of work because you are in charge in giving breaks and making sure the store is clean and such.

but thanks! being team lead can be stressful sometimes, especially at first but after a few months i’ve gotten the hang of it . honestly sometimes i’ll forget im even a team leader and i’ll forget to do the stuff im supposed to 😂 i forget breaks all the time haha my poor coworkers 💀 how long have u been working at jacks ?

Great headset instructions! How do you manage multitasking talking/taking orders/working headset at once?
thanks ! and it definitely takes a lot of practice. you just have to learn how to listen and remember the order while doing other things. except if the person at the window is trying to have a convo or is complaining about something lol then usually have your coworker either take the order or talk to the person at the window. took me about a few months to learn how to do that.

I was team leader overnight for some reason nobody likes night shift especially morning but the evening day okay but night shift do most of the work prepping cleaning and still taking orders but good vid though I work at Amazon now so happy I left that place good luck being a team leader you can do it

I say being night shift is very exhausting… :((( my jack is 24hrs so you imagine nothing is popping but nahh it’s bussyyyy. The lines are always long and I work with at least 2 or 3 other people 😩 I always hope there is more but yknow no one wants to work at night! I really like it when it’s after 4-5 am because it’s either busy or slow, definitely better than 3 am where I worked at

it’s been a while
I wanan quit my job at Goodwill n possibly wokr at jack in the box becuz in my location my goodwill store is far n none of my employees appreciate me make me feel left out ,jack in the box is closer ive been eating there since I was a kid yeah its been updated modern but its closer its a bit better for me what should I do?
if you don’t like working where ur at right now i’d say give jacks a try but can’t promise you’ll like it. every store is different. i personally love mine because i know the people who work there from school and everyone is really chill with one another and we joke around a lot. other stores have different experiences. if u wanna maybe work both jobs to see which one u rather work at and quit the other u can do that as well. which ever decision you make, good luck ! hope you find a job you enjoy working at.

A little late watching this but thanks for the video! Jack In The Box has the best iced mocha coffee imo. What was that white powder that you put in the coffee?? I’m trying to make my own Jack coffee at home. Great video btw!
yess i like the mocha iced coffee here haha and what we use is just black coffee, shake mix and chocolate syrup ! but thank you it means a lot !

yeah no problem ! and i honestly don’t drink coffee i’ve only had a few sips to wake myself up in the morning 😭 so i’m not sure what could replace the shake mix. i tried looking online but couldn’t find much info but no trouble at all i like answering questions haha i wish i could’ve been more help

Hello I’m knew at this job. Honestly I’ve been getting my ass kicked lately. I worked at Mc Donald’s in the past but I find jack in the box to be more difficult because of your guys system. If there’s anything you guys can tell me to help me improve that will be greatly appreciated. I’m doing drive thru cashing out and taking order so the front but I just don’t know how to keep up with the orders we get and I know as a result of that it’s affecting my crew. Pls help I’m so lost on what to do man
As someone with social anxiety, this looks sooo overwhelming to me IDK how you do it. I have only worked office and admin type jobs and even those are too much for me. You make it look so smooth and easy to keep the place functioning.
see that’s what it LOOKS like but tbh it’s a mess everytime it’s my shift to be in charge of. i get overwhelmed and it almost never goes smoothly. something is always happening haha
