Here I am way down in Houston. Doing what i do late at night...watch Harley vids on RUclips and I come across this vid. I am a PROUD Roseland kid, born and raised. Thank you so much for spreading the history of my home. Breaks my heart what it has become but I still love it dearly.
I probably know more about Chicago then any other history combined, in fact I can't tell you a single thing i learned in all 4 years of hs history. History was my sleeping class.
Coming from the outside and thinking of what yt culture usually brings, seeing the hood rides without watching them was like wtf man, how's some dude just going to ride through the hood for views n shit making a spectical out of these poor black communities, but after watching man your shit is so informative and you stay so positive, that's exactly what people need to see, real info, real people, not these scare tactic videos that most people try to associate with the hood. Earned a sub
Bro, My Exact reason I sub. This my 4th video so far. He seems the real deal. Im 40 and hard for me to push sub. I have very few. This Man is Awesome! Was not expecting a history lesson. Im a new age trucker. I love to eat in all type of places. I met so many cool people these past 3 years. Im so dying a trucker. Im a Latin guy that walks into biker bars if the music and good is great. From Montana to Atlanta it doesn't matter. People and food and music yoir case bikes. Let's Ride!!!
I really wasn't sure what to expect when I saw the name Hood Eats- A lot of people who are doing fine have a tendency to treat economically depressed areas and people as a sideshow, so I was fully expecting that... Man I've been watching these videos all morning and your love and compassion for the city and the people shines, it's really refreshing. The bike aspect is just a solid bonus.
Man this whole video and series is a dream ride, the vibe gives me the same homely feeling I get when I’m back home in the rougher areas of the Philippines 🇵🇭 where all the best realest people are at
I’m addicted to your videos primarily because of the information you spit. You’re a very informative person and I love listening to what you say about Chicago and the change that needs to happen.
Please keep up these great videos. You are giving the world another perspective of the great Chicago that many people don't think exists anymore. Ride safe!
i love these videos! Its amazing seeing the sunlight though the clouds of these torn down neighborhoods like these! Really reminds me of where i grew up at.
Hey , I just came here to say that I live in California now but I lived in Chicago for about 9 years. I always thought it would be cool for someone to ride around different parts of Chicago (especially the South Side) and here we are. Love the content (especially the historical bits, area data) and obviously the bikes. Keep up the good work and positivity.
Love what you’re doing Brian. Grew up in Uptown Chicago. Moved because of personal reasons. The love for your city is obvious. It refreshing to see a video about Chitown that isn’t exclusively about drill music or crime. Stay safe out there
I grew up at 116 E. 117th PL and Michigan... Roseland AutoParts was on the NE corner. I lived in the 3 story 2nd house down the hill on the Northside of the street. It was yellow, but it's blue now. Thanks for shining a positive light on the neighborhood. On Friday and Saturday nights in the summer time, if you listen really hard, you could hear the guys racing on Frontage Rd. Maybe one day we could ride together! Stay safe!
I'm not a biker nor am I from Chicago, but I found this video to be really informative, entertaining and cool. (That 3:34 pothole jiggle lol) You now have a new follower. I can feel your good vibe. #KeepInspiring
