The first "particle separator" like CERN was first fired up in Russia in the late 70s. To me that's when shit started going haywire. I remember one night in 1970s, about the time they fired this thing up, the moon rose in the West. I honestly thought I was crazy but I remember laying on the couch looking out the front door and watching it.
As a serious religious person, and a jahovas witness. I'm here to tell you the passage is do not worship any other God for the Lord whose name is Jehovah is a jealous God please be careful of what Bible you read some have been rewritten to fit others not the actual variation
My hypothesis is that the Mandela Effect is the imbalanced entropic nature of Sin working backwards through time, like a form of reverse causality.
Sin is a divergence from God, God is reality itself and all of reality was made by God out of His own essence and is maintained within Him, but because we are drawing further into darkness and God's influence is lessened temporarily because we are in the time of the end, I think that reality itself is becoming destabilized and even the past is becoming corrupted in memory and in local reality.
@@patricianewbury3398
Yes, the name was Jehova, the Mandela effect is likely either entropic effects from Sin or Supernatural actions taken by the fallen angels in order to confuse our reality.
If it was a convergence event of timelines then I think it would likely destroy reality rather than mixing it.
As for glitches in the Matrix, I highly doubt that, if we were in a cyberspace simulation then when something got altered/fixed, everyone's memory would be altered with it I believe.
Is all research on the various Mandela Effects done online? I ask because, as you've noted in a previous video and even in this video, any of the internet sites can be altered. We may be remembering some of these things correctly, but when we go to the internet to verify our memories, those facts may have been changed. Changed why? Probably numerous reasons. My theory, I think there are people and groups out there trying to change global perception on things intentionally, for their own gain somehow. That usually means at the detriment of others, in this case the rest of humanity.
I remember it saying something like “thou shalt have no other Gods before me, for the Lord your God is a jealous God.” Not the part “whose name is Jealous”
I remember this too!
You're thinking of Exodum 20:5
@@mikibishop1516 oh yeah ur right! Thanks lol
Because there’s so many other verses that say something similar. The verse he’s talking about here is just one people rarely talked about. It’s so easily explainable lol.
That’s EXACTLY what it said! Cant no one tell me otherwise 😩
Pikachu not having the black tail blew my mind the most . I vividly remember as a kid just play with a plushie and I would trace the line where the black starts
Bruh same look at the old card.. They white out his tail where the black was
@@DanteDrones yeah that shit is bizarre. I remember a black tail as a kid 🤷♂️
I googled pictures of Pikachu and I can't believe it either 😨
I can remember when I was in kindergarden, I drew pikachu with the black end. I think 10 years ago when I was about 8 years old I found out that his tail is fully yellow at the end.
I remember drawing pickachu with a black tail its bizarre
On page 65 of The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia (the big blue book published by Dark Horse Books) it specifically states “Hylian Loach” with a photo of it and a description.
Fantastic find! Great job
this must be why we remember it that way. because of A. Twilight Princess saying it B. That encyclopedia saying it that you mentioned C. We were all kids when we played Ocarina Of Time, Twilight princess was 8 years later, much more fresh in our minds as we were maturing by then also.
The origin of the meme, then. People read it in the book, took that to be the in-game name, and since it's so rare they were never proved wrong by the game itself. "Mandela Effect" solved.
As I posted elsewhere in the comments here, I was actually an active internet user on early gaming boards that fairly regularly tried to correct people and bring attention to the fact that it was called the Hyrule Loach back in the day. The term Hylian Loach was super widespread because most of the people talking about the thing never even caught it. It's honestly even rarer to find somebody that caught the thing than it is to find someone that got all 100 Skulltulas, and for the longest time its existence in the wider Zelda community wasn't even confirmed. It and the sinking lure were just one of dozens and dozens of unconfirmed rumors about games if the era, and without serious video evidence of it the legendary fish took on many names and forms. There were rumors that Jabu Jabu was the Hylian Loach or that it was a secret boss fight that unlocked the Triforce, among a zillion other playground rumors. That you heard a different name for it and skipped over the text in your excitement isn't shocking, you were a kid in an era of rumors and imagination running wild.
Data mining games wasn't really feasible back then, and; if you don't know, to make matters worse even the official term for the people of Hyrule was a topic of debate before OOT came out.
Nintendo of America was inconsistent, using Hylian and Hyrulian interchangeably, and this made its way into a number of gaming magazines and funnelled back into the community.
You have to keep in mind that videogames weren't "serious business" back then, just take a look at how absurd the backstory printed in the NES Metal Gear pamphlet is.
The reason Animal Crossing and later Twilight Princess used Hylian Loach is because Nintendo as a whole was changing it's standards to try and keep consistency in their IPs.
This is the era when Nintendo created an official size scale for the Mario cast, standardizing the spelling of places and names, and so on.
@@AllTimeScary so… I have an odd Mandela effect. Basically, thousands, if not tens of thousands of OG gmod players from gmod 10 to 12, remember gm_bigcity being in the regular maps section. I sort of remember this, despite me not being born yet, or experiencing gmod 12 or earlier. Infact, I got it back in 2020.
I'm a mercy Main who's put hundreds of hours into the game. I remember only hearing this line less than a handful of times, but I do remember Mercy saying that it wasn't her intent for reaper to end up the way he did. The problem is I draw a blank when it comes to remembering what reaper said. It's like when you wake up from a dream and your mind tries to erase the dream from you memory the more you try to recall it.
That's absolutely incredible to hear, thanks for sharing!
Same for me here! I played overwatch 1 since at least 2017 or 2018 and i vividly remember mercy saying something along those lines, but for some reason i simply cant remember that specific response from reaper.
I dont recall this voice line but Moira fixed up reaper for blackwatch so they may have had it in the beta and removed it when they made the lore for moira???
I don’t play overwatch anymore but I used to be obsessed with mercy back than and in playing her I swear I remembered hearing that dialogue like 10 times when I had a reaper on my team.
Agree - this interaction did go something like laid out in this video - unfortunately I do not stream or record games
gotta love the subtle flex when he said "had to grab a pair of my own" with the air jordans one
I literally thought that too lmao
I am getting this creepy "Dark City" vibe from the Mandela effects. I can't help but wonder as more people wake up , do we really want to know what's causing it?
Dark City, awesome movie. True what you're saying, maybe we don't want to know what is causing all these changers.
Cern
Probably something to do with time travel
@@nathanielmcdonald1910 I agree ! These Mandela effect didn't start being report till after Sept 2008 when the LHC fired up!
Wow! I only recently discovered this movie but yeh, that's what this feels like. 🤔

craziest mandella effect for me is i remember that everything was ok
I know, I dead ass remember a time everything was dope. Crazy shit, the Mandela effect.
thinking about pre covid hits hard
For me, 2001 is when life started slowly going to shit. Ever so slowly, not enough to notice until it got out of control in the noughties ...
Woah weird, I just had a Facebook memory pop up from 7 years ago of me and my daughter and she's eating an ice cream cone and I'm drinking a shake and the caption says "ice cream date 🍦 and a box with an x through it"
EDIT: Thank you all for your efforts, we finally found it! It's the Police Station scene in The Terminator! And it's actually Paul Winfield who takes a sip in a mug when Lance Henrikssen tells him "coffee's cold... and I put a cigarette in it" !
My best friend and I have a very disturbing Mandela effect in our lives, that only the two of us share to this day. For a few months after watching a particular film, we used to bring up a scene that we found very comedic, in an overall pretty serious movie. The scene was a military guy that had come to talk to the protagonist, taking a sip in a mug, and realizing that cigarette butts had been thrown into it. Both him and I were DEAD CONVINCED the scene was in Denis Villeneuve's Arrival, the actors being Amy Adams and Forest Whitaker (drinking in the cup). After rewatching the movie and highly anticipating the scene, we were kinda bugged that the scene indeed didn't exist in the film. We theorized several explanations : the scene existed in theatrical release, but not for dvd/blu-ray ; we imagined the scene shortly after, finding it damn funny (cause we're silly) and described it so well that we convinced ourselves it existed ; the scene exists in another movie and we mixed it up. Sorry for long post but if it rings anyones bell, it'd be a tremendous relief x)
perhaps you guys were watching an uncut special version originally? I remember in the early days of DVD's that was a pretty big deal, to get the extra or cut scenes, unrated versions, director commentary, etc.
In Inspector Gadget a cat poops or pees in the cop's mug, I think. Lol not the same thing but there's definitely something gross in the coffee
I love the movie Arrival but I do not remember that scene at all, I’m sorry
I never saw the movie you mentioned but I am almost positive the scene you describe happened in Airplane I or II, when that cornel or whoever was on the radio trying to give instructions to the cockpit. If it’s not one of the Airplane movies then it could also have been from one of the Naked Gun movies…. Let me know.
@@iamatlantis1 We watched it first when it was released in theatre, so yeah, that's the most likely possibility, however, no mention of cut scenes or theater Vs. dvd version anywhere so what gives
I think the best explanation to the Mandela Effect is timeline-convergence.
Absolutely, I wonder if anyone would like a video on this topic?
It’s nothing more than a sign 🪧 to say
Your life is nothing like how you have perceived it to be.
@@AllTimeScary I know I would. Aside from some new-age or Legend-of-Zelda videos, there doesn't seem to be anything on RUclips about this topic. I got the idea from a RUclips video I watched some time ago about a supposed government/military experiment.
We need to find an IBN 5100!
@@AllTimeScary yes we would
I have seen buildings apparently appear in my city that I never remember being there before. I can feel when time slips sometimes the day is very short and sometimes it’s very long. Some shit is going on man.
Yeah I remember one in a place I lived near by, a club/ bar/ pub in a old building, but when I try to find it now its not there as if it never was.
Left me feeling confused and frustrated.
TY, I've been a little freaked out over it and it not being mentioned by anyone else.
I am thinking this building shit since I was a teenager. It’s one of the reasons I believe the simulation hypothesis
Some info about the loach : it's original name is Hairaru Dojou, so definitely Hyrule, and this is consistent for all languages it was released in. Also, even though "Animal Crossing" was released for the GC in 2002, it is actually a port from Doubotsu no Mori + (Animal Forest+, updated port version of N64 Animal Forest, released only 8 months prior blah blah) which was relased in 2001. In Japanese, there's no reference to Hyrule whatsoever, so it might be a translation team thing. All this doesn't make it any clearer, but I thought it was interesting info x)
That's really interesting information and I appreciate it! The mystery deepens
I’ve just seen there is a Game that says “featuring legend of Zelda called Cadence of Hyrule ”
@@wideawake2759 I was talking exclusively about Animal Forest
@@AllTimeScary there’s also a Bettie white Mandela effect that she died in 2014

You have found a big one. God's name has never been 'Jealous' but He was said to be a jealous god.
i guess it's Jealous now lol - suits it well, i think. 'it' being the god of this world and all. 😅
Exactly!
The name of God is a big deal in judaic religion, the whole point of the Tetragrammaton and the quote “I am, that I am” centers around the fact god’s name is supposed to be secret. I think we’d all know if God’s name was simply: “Jealous”.
Which is ironic because jealousy is sinful.
@@areyoujelton
Says what scriptural text? Please provide a reference. Also, God is above sin, He cannot sin. And He is also sovereign over all the cosmos, He can be jealous if He wants to. Also worth considering, God is far beyond our comprehension and scripture uses relatable language to reflect the nature of God, this word is not to be understood as being just like the human jealousy.
Oh, wow, I remember all of the missing emojis. I used the seahorse when talking to friends about going to the beach, because I thought it was pretty. The seahorse came in a few different colors, too, and I felt that the blue and green ones were too similar to each other.
I’ve used it as well, I know for a fact there was a seahorse!
Check back in your old chats if you can
I honestly never thought about the clothes on the Air Jordan's. I do remember the legs remaining straight with no edges where the appearance of shorts would be. I also never paid attention to the name of the Loach in OoT. I was just looking to make sure I beat the size record.
I used to think there were... No clothes. So I suspect no one paid enough attention.
@@SergioLeonardoCornejo seriously, that's what I said. I remember it just being a body. I don't remember clothes, shoes or anything
Michael Jordan is symbolic of the Messiah to come, Archangel Michael, whose lower body, In example, his earthly identity, is not being revealed like people thought it would. In short, Michael wearing pants instead of shorts means the Messiah isn't coming. In the old testament, when Michael the prince speaks up, everyone who is supposed to be saved is saved. In the new testament, he comes during the rapture with the voice of the Archangel.
@@SergioLeonardoCornejo I remember as a kid thinking he was naked and kids picking at others for wearing naked black man shoes.
Nah Jordan often had his tracksuit so yeah that one aint a mandela effect I can assure yall

I think people are mixing up the sundae and ice cream with sprinkles emojis with milkshakes. The older versions were shown in taller sundae glasses which are identical to what most people think shake glasses look like. Shake glasses are much larger but that really the only difference. The new emojis look way different (no longer in the traditional glasses doesn't have the plain white soft serve look etc) but the sundae still looks like it has a straw instead of a spoon 🍧🍨.
Nooooooo I swear down it was in a tall milkshake glass
Soon, its gonna change to
"Mandel" effect🤣
The ol' Muh Fect
Or "Howie mandell effect" hahahahaha
It was Mandella Effect before.
Wait its not??
@@tairikuokami yup. And named after Nelson Mandela because everyone swore that he died in prison. Nope, he's still alive...somehow 😆
Please do cover Sri Lanka madela effect. It was something which made me believe in Madella effect back in 2018. I was a geography nerd in school & clearly remember Sri Lanka being in completely south of Indian states of Tamil Nadu & Kerala. I even used to draw lines from southernmost tip of India to Andaman Islands. But today it's location has shifted north eastern from the one in my timeline. When I first read it on internet as an example of Madella Effect, I was terrified.
I'm from America and I remember islands south of India. Not southeast. But it was more than one island. The weird part is the more you try to remember these things the more they seem to be erased from memory. It's like when forcing the physical brain to work blocks the spiritual memory. For people in India the mandela effect shouldn't be surprising because of your reincarnation beliefs.
Even I remember Sri Lanka being completely south to India . I even remember reading about a bridge made of some floating rocks at the southern most tip of India .
This is so scary like wtf

What does reincarnation have to do with the Mandela Effect?
@@shaydorahl6740 Maybe he's suggesting that after we die, we come back into an altered reality, similar to the last one, but different?
@@itsafunnyoldworld
Then there should be people who are thousands of years old, eventually you would hit an age that you would be dying every second, unless it is suggested that Quantum shifting from a NDE can alter the timeline you're in?
Mercy was my second main back in the day. And I distinctly remember her saying that line. And Reaper responding. My thought at the time was, "What? There's more here to these two than just comrades."
Wow!! That’s amazing to hear. Good point by the way lmao
I main Mercy too but I don’t remember that dialogue. 🤔
@@mrmoocher777 I very distinctly remember hearing that. And it threw me for a loop wondering what their history was.
Well yea there’s is more to them as they were all part of Overwatch and were in the same team when he was Reyes ! ! I replied earlier to the post and yes there’s a conversation mercy asking how is doing or how is he feeling and reaper just replies , “you tell me doc” …
I played as reaper a lot and I vaguely remember that exchange
I am a mathy/sciencey kind of guy, and I once commented on a RUclips video about seahorse genders. I was surprised to find a seahorse emoji to put in my comment. It definitely existed and within the last 4-ish years.
I am a christian and have read and learned the Bible my whole life. But I remember the verse simply saying "the Lord your God is a jealous God" I do not remember the "who's name is" Part at all.
Edit: I just looked up the verse in my Holman Christian Standard Bible. In that translation it says: "the Lord, Being jealous by nature, is a jealous God." But I don't remember it ever using the word jealous twice. I remember the verse simply saying, "the Lord your God is a jealous God." But now it has that extra part at the beginning which makes it seem redundant and I definitely do not remember it having that before. 🤔
Same here I even asked my parents who are strong Christians and they remember it the same way as you do.
YES! These new Mandela effect videos are my favorite ones

I enjoyed this! Please keep making Mandela Effect videos. :)
The Jordan “Jumpman” logo did originate from the 1989 Nike picture where he did have paints on. There were Nike Basketball cards made of this exact picture. I Collected Jordan stuff from 1986 forward and have over $10,000 worth in value. We see Jordan in shorts every game, posters, and so on. The Jumpman logo is basic but very popular and seeing paints or shorts would be very similar in detail. I would chalk this one up to people not paying attention to the fine details, and just assuming he wore shorts just like he did in every game he played. The very first time he used the Jumpman pose it was for that 1989 cover shoot.
The Jumpman first appeared on 3's, which came out in 1988. The picture is from a photoshoot in 1984, just before the Olympics.
The one about exodus I remember saying "for the Lord your God is a jealous God" not that that was his name. I have a Bible from the 1920s and that is not in it, I looked at my newer Bible though and sure enough that is what it says. Anyone who'd be interested in seeing the very old one I have and how that is not in there I've taken a picture of it for anyone curious. Also still have the N64 cartridge and console I remember fishing for this fish to and it was called the hylian loach for sure
@Little Nike agreed!😉❤🙏👍
I still have my 64 version of Ocarina of Time. I'm pretty sure the game just calls it a loach, but its caught from Lake Hylia, hence the Hylian Loach
It’s called a Hyrule loach now in Ocarina of Time.
Time travelers: "Oh I wish, I wish, I hadn't changed that Hylian Loach fish."
I'm pretty sure the robber emoji was actually back when they were called emoticons & in MSN's IRC chat
Robber wasn't on MSN in my timeline. Feels so familiar though, but feels like a much more recent one
@@DaP84 this was back in windows 98... I used to change the emoticons in the chat .ocx file. I stared at those little pics after every software update, putting in my own pics to replace them
I don’t remember that specific dialogue in the game and my husband and I have played hours. They do have a line where Mercy says “What happened to you?” And Reaper says “You tell me, Doc.”
I do remember the reyes line. I remember watching my friend play the early game and the only reason I gave the game a try was because we thought it was funny that dark moody me has the same last name as the dark moody character. maybe I'm crazy tho
Love this channel so so much
Was watching someone cover the hylian loach yesterday night.. checked ur channel to see if you had covered it or released anything new and you hadnt yet, then today you did :)
This is wild! First i checked my physical copy of the Norwegian version. "You shall have no other god, for the LORD your god is a jealous god." Then i looked at it a minute later, and now it has changed!
Incredible
That's what I remember
I have experienced that same mind blowing moment, when you look at a thing, look away for a moment or a second, and then look back and it is forever different. Really kinda frightening
Interestingly, Exodus 20:5 still has something similar to the old wording ("I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God").
Yeah and I just got back from the moon and parked my spaceship in my garage
For the Overwatch Mandela the interaction between Mercy and Reaper is as follows: Mercy: What happened to you? Reaper: You tell me, Doc!
thats sounds familiar
Wait yeah I think that’s what I remember hearing
I've never played Overwatch at all, but I've heard those voice lines before. Maybe it was just someone voice trolling. The Zelda thing is pretty easy. There's a fish that is really hard to catch called a Loach. On average it takes 92 hours to get one. You have a review due in 5 hours. Things from Hyrule are called Hylian. It must be a Hylian Loach. Ooops. And I think that explains most Mandela effects. Certain phrases are more memorable, or more "correct," and in the long term can easily seem more accurate than what actually was. Like, every Tuesday you go to the local library and read in the corner for two hours. For whatever reason you decide to go to the cafe this week instead, and see a Jack Russell Terrier doing backflips. When you remember this 7 years later, it's Wishbone dancing on a table in the library, because you never go to the cafe, and Wishbone is the best doggo with books. Mandela effects are just on a widespread social level. Like the Bible verse. Okay, You shan't covet your neighbor's wife, that's no good, it's just being jealous, you shouldn't be jealous. But God's name is Jealous, isn't it? Should I not aspire to be divine? mmmm Good point, let's kinda skip that bit. Who really READS the Bible anyway? Most people just listen to someone else read it to them, and if they do read on their own, it's only what they've been told to and coached through already. That's the only reason religion has survived IMO, if people read the Bible with an open mind and took it as the word of God like most believers say it is, there would be a lot more atheists. Are Mandela Effects common outside of the English speaking world, and if they are, how do they compare? Are there any differences in the kind of linguistic or cultural significances or commonalities?
I wonder if maybe people could be conflating a milkshake with some of the emoticons from old instant messengers, like Yahoo Messenger, MSN or AIM?
YAY!love these!
The best reaction haha, thank you!
I remember Jordan's logo wearing shorts.
Also the Bible Mandela Effect. My Bible says "You must worship no other gods, but only the Lord, for he is a God who is passionate about his relationship with you". But I have the New Living Translation. I find other Bibles hard to read. This one is a lot easier. But my husband's say "whose name is jealous". Crazy.
This is so wild!
For the Overwatch one, I totally remember Reaper saying "you knew exactly what you where doing" my guess is they were some sort of fan made voice lines. Many creatives where doing Overwatch stuff on RUclips back in the golden days.
I love this channel because he does so much research for his videos before making statements about things. That way if there are any trolls in the comments, he can throw the facts in their face
You ever feel like you see a movie and then u watch it again and u see new stuff happen ?
I’ve heard and experienced many mandea effects but the Hylian Loach is the one that hit the hardest. I spent a long time trying to get that fish and I was finally able to do it when I discovered the sinking lure. These are getting more and more frequent. I think something big is coming (grabs tin foil hat)
I don't think they have realized that changing certain things in time isn't erasing people's memory, it's over lapping. Meaning that the original memory is still there, but making so many changes is bring it all to the surface of certain people.
Could be future humans altering the timeline
Oh boy...
How quickly we forget how things were in the era of the early internet.
Maybe I can bring you some peace of mind here, haha

The Mandela Effect almost seems like it would lend some sort of credibility to the "matrix" theory or simulation theory as some put it. Very interesting indeed. It's about the only thing that would make some sort of sense but if that were the case, then we the people are in some serious shit lol
I belive you could be on the money but think about it the simulation creator is God and the antichrist has entered the building think how crazy the worlds gone in the last 10 years the cern god particle experiments has opened up our worst nightmare
I’ve said we live in a simulation since I played sims 1 and everyone laughed at me
"Did i misremember this tiny insignificant detail from a thing from my childhood 30 years ago? Or am i somehow traveling between multiple dimensions?"
I love these Mandela effects!
Another example of this was last year… I was having a chat with my partner in the living room and suddenly remember something (or more precisely, a memory being implemented in my brain at that same second). We were driving, well my partner was driving and I was sitting next to him. But, the weird bit about this memory is that, it’s not my memory! This memory was not seen with my own eyes, rather a younger and smaller person in the back sit. In this memory this smaller person in the back sit watches my partner drive and me talking to my partner, at some point I point outside and tell my partner the Diesel is at €0.99 a litre and I point at the gas station and the price. This smaller person in the back sit looks out the window and sees the price and the gas station.
So, this whole memory was this child’s memory, but… we don’t have a child, and we didn’t have anyone that small in our, ever!
After this incident, I went to a psychologist, it apparently could be a part of a mental problem where my personality has three fragments, the child, the me now and older one. And this could also mean that each of these fragments could have their own memories. But I don’t think this it, it freaked me out ever since, but it happened only once, never happened again.
Have you had any dreams about having a child? Could be a premonition that you guys will raise a child!
"Hylian" is the denonym of "Hyrule", its just another way of saying "you dont suppose its from Hyrule" The ME might be because in Animal Crossing, loaches are common unlike in Zelda, so you'll probably see that text more than "Hyrule Loach" in OOT if you played both games
This video ended without your catch phrase and I had to go check three other of your videos to make sure I wasn't insane. Also, we were talking about your channel on my most recent livestream!
I'm so relieved to see this comment - I thought youtube was glitching out so I went back and rewatched the end of the video, and yep, the outro is missing. How will I remember to never stop searching!?!? 😭
Indeed!
In Animal Crossing Population Growing for the Gamecube your character says "I caught a loach! It might be Hylian!" (my personal way of remembering the line =P) This was honestly the first time I knew of the fish's existence, and then I think I bought a magazine that told how to catch it. BUT NOT before reading something online (possibly at gameFAQs or animalxing) who mentioned something among the lines of "this character references the loach in Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time" and me having no idea on what that was about.
Anyway, I love this video! If this is a series, I'm interested in watching the rest of the episodes.
When it comes to missing emojis, can any of you remember the red paws? there were 4 (two on top of one another). I'm positive I used to use it and I've been unable to find it for ages now.
you mean like paw prints like the ones that are now black? I think I do remember something like that
Yep! It exists, and it's red. (I just checked) it might have something to do with the device you're using :)
do you guys remember having this 🦤 emoji?
Thanks for this amazing video! Love listening to these videos before I sleep.
Thanks for watching! I’m glad you liked it 😁
It's Christmas Eve and I'm watching my favorite Christmas film of all-time, Gremlins. I've watched this movie hundreds of times dating back to it's release and I just found a Mandela Effect. So in the most epic part of the film when the mom is fighting off the gremlins in the kitchen I swear she used Pam cooking spray to blind one of the gremlins before pushing it into the microwave and exploding. Well after 35+ years I just realized that she actually used flea and tick spray instead of Pam. She is in the kitchen and just backed gingerbread man cookies so Pam makes more sense especially after she turns around and grabs it right off of the counter. Who has flea and tick spray sitting on the kitchen counter as they are cooking? Although I will admit that it never made much sense to use Pam because I don't think it has powerful blinding abilities like flea and tick spray would have. Plus they have a dog but I know it was Pam spray and the film has several spots of product placement throughout most notably Burger King and Coca-Cola so I can definitely see them using a popular product like Pam only for the company to get upset because it doesn't make Pam look good so they went back and changed it later to a generic flea and tick spray. If anyone sees this and also remembers the mom using Pam please let me know.
Another great video. Mahalo
Pertaining to the Overwatch one, I know since the advent of Moira the lore confirmed that she is mostly to blame for the way Reaper is. But it's weird, I do recall Mercy having something to do with Reaper's condition before Moira was added. As for the voice line, I'm not sure if I ever heard that.
You aren’t trippin.. I’m over 4000 hrs OG OW and yes this line interaction existed 😮
I've played over 1k hours of OW and distinctly remember that line too! I have not heard it in YEARS. Got me all freaked out lol
It might not be a Mandela effect, but I just have not seen this scene in the movie again. In the Beauty and the Beast there was a scene where everybody was cleaning the castle as they sang. I distinctively remember Lumiere tossing all the dust that had been accumulated after so many years through the balcony. But after buying the movie I have not seen that scene again. Has anyone seen it or was it just removed from the dvd version?
Nevermind, it looks like it was just removed from the dvd. It's called "human again".
I remember the Moose emoji
because someone I know and I used to mess around with emojis sending each other animal emojis back and forth and trying to make band names with emojis and guessing, trying to stump each other or come up with obscure stuff etc.
There’s a 90s band called Moose from the UK. It’s not well known where I live.
That is extremely odd that it’s gone now.
This is one of the first times that I know for sure that something happened. I 100% remember that mercy and reaper quote, I played OW waaay too much and I heard it multiple times and would repeat it sometimes when it popped up. This one is seriously crazy like are you kidding me. Now I know for sure Mandela effects exist. That’s my final for sure piece of evidence. This is actually insane.
Mine too 😮
Love your videos you should do something of the deja vu I bean getting them for a year now love your channel and im glad that you uploaded a video been waiting for a while😀
This wait even felt long to me but I'm already working on the next video so it won't take as long this time!
@@AllTimeScary ok have a great day and no problem 👍😀
Hey, that sounds interesting! Could you elaborate on your situation?
So, these deja vu you're getting... Are so frequent and/or lengthy that you can anticipate what's going to happen or maybe even interfere? Do you ever have the feeling you actually went back in time?
I'm asking because that's happened to me twice, once from 2002 to '04 and again for almost one year in 2007
Theory: the "Hylian Loach" is just an urban legend and the reason it got referenced in other games is a nod to the legend.
These videos are awesome! I have been thinking of tons of dif. theories and had some very personal mandela effects happen to me as well.
Thanks, I'm glad you've enjoyed them!
If you have ever heard of quantum immortality what if each of these affects we notice personally is just another time we have died and switch timelines?
@@jacupwakup9109 He has a video about quantum immortality on this channel
The Bible explains the Mandela effect, over 2000 years ago God told Daniel to seal the book (the bible),
Daniel 12:4 - But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
Years later after Jesus Christ was crucified, John the Revelator wrote this in revelations,
Revelation 22:10 - And he said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.
The bible is no longer "sealed" (protected from satan) and with this Satan can change other things, Daniel 7:25 says He shall speak words against the Most High,
and shall wear out the saints of the Most High,
and shall think to change the times and the law;
and they shall be given into his hand
for a time, times, and half a time.
@@bft3256 So you're saying by changing the bible they are potentialy altering reality?
I think it is of no use to have a recording or physical copy of something of the past related to a mandela effect because, as I far as I can see, once something changes, everything changes, physical, digital, written, whatever format something ever stored or existed as, is also changed to the new norm. We can see it by the Hypnotiq example, the God's name, literally anything.
As soon as something change, all the necessary changes to assure it is now the new version also changes, including statements that things were always the way they are now regardless of how they are or were as we remember, we see this in everything; "this phrase has always been this, this name has always been x, this dialogue has always been y/never was in the movie/game."
Don't believe me? See the piano cat video, every single copy of that video now has the red box, the lost disney intro changed in every video or movie ever made and you won't find it, the lost ending of Spirited Away was never found in any copy of any kind of the animation, the Scream was never found without the bracelet... There is nothing we can really do to prove that something really changed by comparing the original to the now changed version of something, and that is the scary part, not seeing things changed, but being unable to prove that things really changed by having an "original" to compare it to and show it is real instead of something I can't buy into, the false memories. It's too far fetched that millions of people would remember the exact same thing the same way for then to never be the same thing again.
This is one thing that I find really interesting. Are all forms of media effected by these changes? We know film, digital media, digital newspapers, search results, images and audio can be manipulated, but what about references to changes in other media? For example, if I mention something in a book that references something that has now changed, is my books texted changed as well? It seems that whatever it is that is causing the Mandela Effect, somehow misses these bits of residue. I think building a type of formula around this specific situation could help up locate even more Mandela Effects. The Legend of Zelda reference in Animal Crossing is a great example of reference residue.
I vividly remember Vendetta 2. Now I can't find it ANYWHERE.
@@AllTimeScary check the galaxy song, 2 professor Hawking and Cox. Ok Stephen is just singing the song. Then prof Cox scrutinised the lyrics. The speed of light, the sun as source of all our power. Then agrees we are on an 'outside arm' of the galaxy.
@@gamehack6359 You know they updated the song to fit the modern understanding of where the original had gone wrong, right? I think they did it for Comic Relief or something
yes but in some very very rare cases it isn't changed! Volkswagen logo for example. it is changed everywhere but I have a very old photo captured by an old camera(not digital) and the photo is physical. it isn't changed here.
As a life long saved Christian the mandela effect that really gets me is Saint John's Book of Revelation. For my entire lifetime it being the Book of Revelations with an "S" at the end.
I am with you, there.
I agree, and many others.
Ok - stay with me for a second. I'm by no means fit in anything associated with the bible text - but wouldn't it make sense that revealing the TRUTH (namely Christ and God) - comes naturally with things/circumstances our mind perceives as miracles? And - my interpretation of it shifting from revelationS (plural) to revelation (singular) is that there is only ONE last revelation left to uncover/unreveal/undo... so there's positive progress and no need to worry - everything is safe and in perfect harmony in the hands of God. 💕
I have a Mandela effect from the original Top Gun movie. I was absolutely crazy about this movie when I was a kid. I watched it a bazillion times and prided myself on not only being able to recite all the lines from the movie but also knowing all the aircraft, cars, ranks, songs anything really that was connected to the movie. Anyway some years ago I was in Walmart and I see a premium hot wheel of mavericks bike! I was so excited to grab one but as soon as I got looked at the description I was confused. That's because it said the bike was a kawasaki 900rr. In my timeline I specifically remembered mavericks bike being a Ducati. At first I thought well I was just a kid and probably just got it wrong but the more I thought about it, the more memories flooded in. The main one being being that at that time in the 80s I had never even heard about the manufacturer Ducati until that movie! I also specifically remember reading about that bike in a motorcycle magazine. I wonder if anyone else has this memory besides me? If you do I'd love to hear it!
BTW I got on the internet and looked thru some Ducati bikes from that time and the Ducati 750 looks very similar to the kawasaki 900 so it's possible it was just a case of mistaken identity.
Yeah, it was a Ducati.
Heaven yeah. I live this channel.
Awesome timing, I was just looking for the moose a few days back! I swear it used to exist. I just assumed they had removed it 🤯
When I was researching this one, I learned that they are adding a Moose in an upcoming update. Of course they are lol
I'm thinking it may have been an emoji on an obsolete platform. Like a Blackberry or one of the many messenger services from the early days of the internet.
@@corpix You could be right 🤔 I never had a blackberry but used many now obsolete chat rooms and stuff in the early 2000’s
For the overwatch Mandela effect that voice interaction would have been between Moira and Reyes not Mercy and Reyes. Canonically Moira and Reyes served in black watch and that's where Moira experimented on Reyes.
The jealous God name verse was covered at my Bible camp over 20 years ago during a themed day about jealousy. I remember it very well.
In YOUR timeline 20 years ago.. Don't assume that goes for all bible scholars in all timelines / realities / (uni)verses
@@jh544 I didn’t assume a damn thing. I was literally talking about MY experience, not YOURS or anybody else’s. Learn how words work.
I clearly remember yhwh as in yaweh or whatever or maybe jehova
@@simonrose9080 there are many different verses that refer to him as that as well.
@@trueelectsupremea.m.mosttr4786 How do you figure that? that seems a bit harsh , to put it mildly..
lol 🤣 your intro 📈🤯
Lmao, I’m trying to be faster, quicker and more entertaining. I hope it comes across that way
Love your videos All Time💯
Thank you!
@@AllTimeScary no problem 💯
I do remember it being Hyrule Loach because I thought it was odd it comes from Lake Hyliea, but maybe from the rivers around Hyrule castle .As I RP’ed every interaction, after my 4 play through or so.
But I think theirs something somewhere in game that give more info on it.
Most guides just called it "Loach".
Looks like a huge advertisement for Air Jordan's and Overwatch 2
Lmao, it’s not but I probably wouldn’t say no if they offered enough
@@AllTimeScary 😆
Crazy stuff!! thank you cern for disrupting our dimension
Lets say that the mandela effects are what we believe them to be. Then this question comes, what are our memories made of?
If our reality is being changed, even in the past, how come our memories are not changed.
Is our perception of this reality something more than just the manifestation of the physical world, if so, where is reality based if not here?
Heaven mabey?
@@cliftonbrown4051 Yes, that's where im leaning towards as well.
When you form a thought, that location is where were at, but instead of in your head, this reality takes place in God's mind.
Changes are not for us as we will die off. It's for a hivemind.
In Twilight Princess the Hylian loach still exists and this game came out well after Ocarina of Time. And I quote Hylian Loaches can be found around the Lily Pads at Hena's Fishing Hole in Summer in Twilight Princess. They can only be reeled in by using the Frog Lure or the Sinking Lure. Young Hylian Loaches can also be caught in various places, including Hena's Fishing Hole, by using the Fishing Rod while Bobber Fishing.
There's a Mercy and Reaper line that was in the game, it goes like this, "What happened to you?" "You tell me, doc". So I think people are misrembering this line since it's so similar
My hypothesis is that there are 'direct' and 'indirect' references to things, places, events. Direct is something like a picture or video of the thing and these are altered, but indirect is something that's passed through the human filter (maybe consciousness?), like a joke reference or inference. The monopoly guy reference in Ace Ventura, or this loach reference in the Zelda game would be examples.
Maybe the fabric of space time can be altered but the conscious perceptions of it can't or are harder to alter.
I remember 6:20 something like, " for He is a jealous God" but I definitely don't remember a reference to His name being "Jealous". Ever since this Mandela Effect began I started writing Bible quotes down verbatim in notebooks for future reference so it might take some digging but I will start looking for this one as soon as I have some spare time!
I thought it used to say Jehovah
Any updates?
Texts will be changed. Only what's in you can't be changed. People remembering things differently is how this starts.
I found my own Mandela effect the other day. I’d love to know if anyone else remembers this - in the movie ‘Can’t hardly wait’ didn’t Seth Greens character wear an upside down backwards visor? Now it’s goggles on his head (both horrible 90s fashion choices😂) I was really shocked by it. No shook. Anyone else?
I remember both somehow. Now I have to rewatch it and see if that triggers anything.
I remember the goggles myself
As a man I only saw JLH in there. Everything else is blurry ;D
He wears the goggles, one of his friends wears the upside down visor
Definitely goggles in my reality
The Jordan logo under the retro 12s on the soles is completely new to me also!
6:12 his parents named him an adjective
I remember the milkshake, I used it once or twice. It was a real emoji
I remember it as well
As I remember, Michael Jordan wore shorts on that commercial.
This one tripped me up so badly. I swear he was wearing shorts.
Actually yeah, there's been a few times I've seen it with shorts, but I believe the logo, or at least the game logos had it with shorts
I'm legit shaking a bit. I was an 80s baby and a 90s kid. Micheal Jordan was ALLLL over the place tv etc. And I'm telling ya he was wearing shorts do tf hahahahahaha
Never played Zelda but that Mandela effect is very interesting
RE Overwatch: there was indeed a time when Reaper and Mercy did have an interaction where Reaper would imply Mercy had a hand in what happened to him, but it wasn't these exact lines, and they were patched out when the hero Moira was released.
The original angle was that Mercy was involved with how Reaper got his powers, but that was later retconned to shift the story to Moira to align with her origin story as an Overwatch doctor that later left the organization to join Talon because her research was too out of bounds for the first crew to handle.
The original Mercy/Reaper lines were:
Mercy: "Gabriel, are you doing ok?"
Reaper: "You would know. You did this to me."
Please do a video on the globe. I remember china being larger than the US. I don’t remember Mongolia being smaller. I remember South American being more south of US. The Panama Canal is different also
I remember South America being further West as well; also Australia seemed to be in the middle of nowhere rather than just a few miles South of Papua New Guinea
I came from the reality where the Jumpman logo wore shorts, the red green and blue brand of peanut butter was Jiffy, not jiff. One thing is for sure, something beyond our comprehension is happening and may not be good.
Yes Sir.
its cern like in stranger things, the upside down, the alternate reality
The mercy one was honestly never a interaction I think people get it mixed up with “what happen to you” “you tell me doc” voice line between them I’ve been playing since 2016 and never heard it
