Love the CG125.. good thing Honda kept producing these in Southeast Asia for low budget market. I was able to get a 2019 unit for my scrambler project. Still all classic design and parts, except everything is 'not old'.
That was nice to see something that’s not had gazillions of quid chucked at it. Please remember bike shed we aren’t all lawyers/ accountants/ executives/ rich southern shandy drinking poseurs
Believe it or not the 125s are much scarier to ride than bigger bikes. Don’t hold too well on the road, not very “grounded”, a terror diving into corners...a mess! I used to ride a 125 and I found it much more of a challenge than the naked Ducatis and Yamahas I am now riding. Balls of steel to go round corners like that with that kind of bikes 💪👍
I cant understand how you came to this conclusion, bigger bikes better round corners? That just isn't the case at all, iv raced fireblades round olivers mount on a 125cc 2t gp rep. And i was braking later into the corners and turning in harder. 125cc machines hold the fastest lap record on the majority of tracks in the UK because we have more twisty circuits, suited to smaller more agile bikes. To say that they are a mess in the corners says much more about you as a rider than about the 125cc class.
Hi Nick. Nice video. I’m new to bikes and just got my first bike - Skyteam ace 125 which I’m told has a Chinese made replica cg125 engine in? Don’t know the first thing about bikes. It what do you suggest to change/improve on a stock engine to make 125 run reliably and smoothly? Cheers mate. Love the vids

People forget how much fun these wonderful , lightweight , agile bikes can be. 125's to 250's are GREAT motorcycles. GOOD JOB!!!

Nice bro am a motorcycle mechanic. And this is nice. Am about to turn my CG125 into this
Looks like he used the cylinder kit available on eBay. Very nice bike, inspiration for my 125s.
On the track it sounded like an airplane motor
