Old Leather Smith here, Hi Chuck, I personally own a lot different hand tools from a lot of different makers, the least expensive ones usually work good but not always give good impression, that's the main reason I use a 32oz mallet, I always get a good impression. I really appreciate your videos, thank you. GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️⚾🙃
Chuck, I have to tell you that you an easy, sensible and easy way to tool. I’ve done tooling the way “they say it should done.” It’s hard to learn and extremely frustrating. Starting the way you just described and showed is the best way to start tooling in my opinion. Great job with the Christmas Bells. Richard
Chuck, is there anything that i can use to remove contact cement before dyeing? Also anything to use for smuges. I tried being careful but I got glue on the face of a knife sheath.

I remember from Chuck’s Facebook fan page someone suggested practicing stamping on playdoh. A big time and money saver
Wow, thanks. Great tip!
@@robwagner7545 playdoh won’t provide you with the feel of stamping leather, but for pattern design and lining up punches, it’s great
@@daverooni7763 for sure. I just hate wasting decent, usable scrap to test patterns. Brilliant.

Would love to see more barbed wire pattern ideas
Thank you to share your knoledge that's wonderful.
I like the Barb Wire design. If it was on a wallet, an initial would look great. Then I would do double caps on the others. What do you think?
Saludos excelente ingenio 👍👍👍
Very professional work, Thanks my friend, Big liked+sub 👍💙
Can y’all do a leather element over using acrylic paints?
when will the free patterns be available again?
