    Sir mostly Architect don't use revit and they give cad file ...how can we use those 2d Architecture layouts for MEP design.

      That process is called as CAD to BIM process.
      In that case you have to link those cad file in Revit ,and proceed with the Modelling.
      I hope your point of doubt is clarified..
