I also built the Corvette about 2 years ago, a great model. I am now making a new version a 150% scale & 2.5m long. I had to redesign a lot of it to include a heap more detail. Once done I'll do a review vid.
I’m printing the Liberty Ship from Thingyverse, it’s a slow old job, just one of the 13 hull sections can take 40 hours at 1/120 scale. I could build a ‘traditional’ one much quicker!!

Great but i prefer building by hand.
How do you even really do that? I'd love to make model oceanliners but a 3d printer is out of my budget.
