I have a B/Amp v1- I find the OD/fuzzes on the B/Amp take well to stacking drives units like adding a tech 21 MP40 pedal before the OD tone.
I want to try my mP40 in the SPre now, I have only use the SPre on its own lol.
I just rediscover my dingwall with Bergantino, and even more with the SPre DI's

Please forgive me if this is a silly question, but to this point I have been using plugins in my DAW for practice and recording and a friend's bass amp when we practice. What would be a good speaker to use with this preamp? I'm interested in using it both as a desktop preamp into my audio interface for recording and with a speaker when I jam with friends. Is the best choice just to get a Bergantino speaker cabinet? Do I also need a power stage amp to make good use of the preamp? It may just be that this isn't the best device for someone like me, but it does really sound great.
If you want something as neutral as this pedal Bergantino is the way to go. If you want something small that still sounds as true as this, check the Phil Jones Briefcase
Does anyone know the SNR of the unit? Being a DSP-type device (digital) I find it helpful to know the SNR. Many of this type of devices are pretty noise (low SNR in the nineties). The manual doesn't say? Also it would be handy to know if the entire signal chain is digital (A/D - D/A) or if some part of the signal chain is kept analog (maybe the PRE-DI)?
