Kiara has found her musical niche and excels at it and 4BLOOD is a great cover, she absolutely crushes it. Still recommending her first original song HINOTORI, it's a different vibe to her newer songs. Shion is an amazing singer and Mage of Violet is a great song, and yes, it's her original, her first in fact. Shion has a very recognizable voice I find and a lot of great covers, gotta recommend her cover of Otome Kaibou, a relatively early cover of her.
I think 4Blood was THE song that made me realize Kiara was literally made for the pop genre. Her first 4 songs are great but it always felt like she was still looking for her "voice," like how rapping is to Calli. I feel like ever since Kiara and Kira (and co.) have teamed up, they've been unstoppable together. Recently Kiara has agreed as well that her thing was Pop and said she's going to focus on releasing more pop songs so I'm excited! We often like to joke that the "K" in "K-pop" stands for Kiara lol.
The interesting part about Mage of Violet though. A person that hides in the dark and likes to act evil, but is actually very kind, warm and caring person that only wants to make everyone happy. That's the hidden meaning behind this son. Mage of Violet is the representation of the strong bond that Shion has with the shiokkos. It's equally as beautiful when someone knows about the special meaning.

I 100% agree that kiara is underrated. You should check out her newer songs, they're really solid. The great wanderer, retrospective ( love this one), and sleep talking are all really good
Her POV songs were all solid, just wish they had more views. most of those were out side her comfort voice range, she killed it on them but has sounded discouraged with how they were received. her EN singing has gotten a lot better and she is more confident. We probably wont get things like TGW retrospective again for a while cause j/k-pop does better for her views. Those are good too so not really complaining, just liked her showing off her wider singing range.

Because I found that pretty funny. But then, he wouldn't be the reacting goober we all know and love if he didn't miss the things right in front of his face on occasion. It is an early Christmas present for me to see a reaction to a song from Shion. "Mage of Violet" is even better when she performs it live. For Shion, I still recommend "アカシア・シンドローム" (Acacia Syndrome) and her cover of "踊" (Odo) as they do an amazing job of showing off her singing abilities and they are my favorite songs from her.
You should check out Holobrats (Shion, Laplus, Bae, Kobo)'s cover of KDA's Baddest & Superstars very good singing and dancing. I know you liked the previous hololive covers of these songs so you might like these too.
I absolutely adore Kiara's 4Blood cover. Prior to her album releasing probably would have been in my top 5 of any songs she did and I still like it a lot. Almost certainly my favourite cover from her and I like it better than the original and I would probably even put it over some of her originals preference wise. Thought she does have several banger originals so most of her originals I do consider better than it. Still, probably one of my all time favourite Hololive covers. I don't listen to Shion a lot but I really love Mage of Violet and have quite enjoyed several of her covers. I think she has pretty good music taste.
I don't know if you did, but if you want to listen to more from Shion, her Queen and Idol covers are 10/10! Her most recent original, is also really good, it also got a MV! (Cinderella Magic) Edit: I don't know how I forgot this, but you also NEED to listen to point of view, Kiara's Album! It has every original she has released in there and some new ones, which all got an MV recently (not sure about Retrospective) as well. Pineapple, Love Rush, The Great Wanderer, Retrospective, Sleep Talking are the songs names.

For Christmas songs, I recommend Risu's cover of Snow Halation, the cover of Pittari Shitai X'mas by Kiara, Watame and Kobo as well as RIZnote's (Rikka and Izuru) cover of クリスマスソング/Christmas Song. All of them are great and there are a lot more to choose from.
