I think the acting of the original (Doctor Foster) feels so real. The lack of the intense background music also gives an eerie realism to the scene that I find even more terrifying and destructive, just cos it feels like a reality show or documentary rather than a drama. Also, even as an avid teleserye watcher, I do not understand the decision to slow down scenes to give dramatic effect. It looks distracting rather than powerful. Like.. what is up with this 3:34?

Nah, I haven’t watched these shows but infidelity of a partner is zero tolerance for me. I’m a child of divorced parents and have issue with this type of behavior. Why do you cheat? If you want to sleep around with other people then break up with who you are with instead of humiliating them and causing them even worse pain. I don’t speak to my dad who cheated on my mom and later cheated on my stepmom! I do not respect him at all because why should I respect a cheating liar.

Korean version takes the cake. Very intense. The main actress’s acting in the PH version is great but the others’ acting sucks. Can’t really feel the emotion, especially the dad’s. Whoever said PH version is the best obviously never watched the others.

UK for the realism. SK for the build up. While PH made so much meme-worthy lines in the script, “papunta pa lang tayo sa exciting part”. I also like how the actresses of each version has different demeanor, maybe representing how each culture reacts. UK is angry but has a calm and collected demeanor, you can feel SK’s anger seething behind the calm face, and the PH is just straight up taunting.
I like the original and Korean versions in this scene. The way that Sue Ramirez's slap Jodie has no connection with the character's emotion. Like the anger emotion is quite plain to attack someone in real life 😂😂
Maybe for Filipinos? But around the world, it's the ORIGINAL for them. And for Asians, it's the Korean version. Only Filipinos love Filipino TV shows lol

Did you watch original and Korean versions, too? I can't choose which one to watch but Turkish version has 60 episodes and every episode lasts 2 hours that's too long🤦♀️

I saw the 🇷🇺 Russian adaptation!! It was not that exciting level. It has classical background music & the slapping part was not really shown, Only edited the slapping part.
