In KotM when Godzilla is near death and at his lowest point he goes and rest at what they call his home, the ruins of an ancient civilization with a large temple he uses as his bed.
In the New Empire Godzilla enters the new age of coexistence and him picking the colleseum as his new home is a great symbol of this.
Not to mention that last shot of Godzilla's eye closing as he looks so at peace after 10 thousand+ years is kind of heartwarming.

They were killing Kongs before that, but the Kongs had no means of fighting back so they just ran from them. Then one of them found out how to make weapons from their scales and it ignited the war.

I liked Godzilla x Kong, my only gripe was that the titans Godzilla fought in the first half of the movie had literally no chance.
Skar King and Shimo had so little screen time to build them up as a threat and when the fight happens, Godzilla is evolved and Kong had the gauntlet while Mothra supporting them. Skar and Shimo had no chance winning it and the fight itself was very quick.
Kong atleast had some struggle when he fought the apes but other than that, the duo just squashed every foe they faced in this movie.
Also the weight of the Kaiju in this movie, they don't feel like giants anymore imo it still is a good movie though.

They didn’t do a good job w size comparisons in the new movie. Godzilla can’t fit in the colosseum lol. Suko is smaller than the axe in half the movie too.. only annoying about the movie besides the horrible cheesy acting
@@joeycantinieri4205 I agree with you, I also think having the movie mostly set in hollow Earth didn't help either. With nothing recognisable to use for size references. I actually think sizing has been inconsistent for the entire Monsterverse franchise.

Godzilla can easily fit in the coliseum, it is 188m long and 156m wide. Godzilla is 120m long in this movie so he can definitely fit in the coliseum, especially considering he is curled around.

The Godzilla that ate the star could mean many things, does it mean when he ate the meteor that put him to sleep? Or could it be an entirely other Godzilla that actually ate a star becoming Space Godzilla and is the actual real baddie which gave Skar King those glowing eyes like he was being controlled himself? I'd imagine Space Godzilla would have insane psychic powers.

Could be a good origin for Space Godzilla it was probably metaphor but if it were it could be great set up for space Godzilla. An Ancient Gojira of the species maybe the raining alpha of the species before ours devours a foreign meteorite with a new radioactive element from Deep space that gave him new powers. The giant crystals the Iwi use have some gravity and manipulating effects and telepathic effects too like Gidorah a monster from deep space. If the element that formed the crystals came from space and a Gojira devoured it for its immense radiation for an evolution boost it make sense it would mutate to be a crystal covered telepathic Gojira more powerful than others. The only question would be where his been… maybe he went to space and is coming back.

A Rodan solo film would be awesome. Maybe as an Apple+ release? It could be a comedy where Rodan is the only monster who has subtitles. Even when he interacts with other monsters we only see what Rodan is saying. I think it would be funny seeing one sided conversations with other titans. And may we could get a better insight how the Titans feel about Godzilla and Kong. And in Rodans solo movie he could start out as the villain but by the end becomes an anti hero trying to stop a bigger threat. But the humans can’t interspersed what Rodan is up too so they go ahead and use project “Jet Jaguar” to try and stop Rodan but will end up teaming up with him in the end to stop the bigger threat.
And then maybe an end credit scene that shows the same humans that were working on Jet jaguar are rebuilding the mecha Godzilla (from Godzilla vs Kong) talking about preparing for a threat from outer space !!

They won't do it. Risk vs Reward. Nobody knows all of the other b flic Toho kaiju. It's not DC or Marvel. We only have 2 Cinema Icons in a whole genre which is unique and rare. It's King Kong and Godzilla. They won't take a risk due to the cost w/ out one of those 2 on the title.

@@jettysfuneral I would see any good kaiju film. The problem is nobody knows who Mothra is. She could be the 3rd most popular behind King Kong and Godzilla. That gap is like 95%. Everyone knows those 2. I would like a Mothra vs Battra film. I don't think Legendary wants to help any of Toho's other monsters or would risk a film that 95% of the GA doesn't know nor care.
The purpose of the MV was to create a crossover franchise so we could get a rematch or remake of King Kong fighting Godzilla. Ex) The worse grossing movie in the MV was KOTM. Why or How? The GA didn't care. They want GxK.
The reason we got some of the Toho b flic kaiju is because of Shin Godzilla. Behind the scenes, Legendary wasn't happy. They didn't want another American vs Toho debate like the "98" American Godzilla film. Legendary took a risk and bought the rights and in return Toho would step aside till the contract expired. The great thing about KOTM is that we all know this is "Godzilla". They did the same with Kong. They went with the og "32" KK novel. Lots of moving parts. Universal stepped aside for WB regarding Kong.
Why apple+? Literally any other would work. As long as they have writers that care and company paying doesn't get in the way

Alright so considering the success of this movie and the fact the adam wingard is more than likely getting another movie and its going to be the godzilla equivalent of this movie (reminder godzilla had 2 standalone films kong had 1) i can only see a threat being to kong multiple kaiju. Godzilla in no way will ask for help so the question is how do you get them together again? And as stale as it is to say its going to involve the hollow earth or space godzilla. I would like to see a tag team of both. Kong has an army now and godzilla is super powered so lets put them both into danger biolante appears in the hollow earth and space godzilla/gigan/mecha king ghidorah appear on earth. We have to get an all out monster brawl even bigger than this one. There has to be a threat big enough to threaten kong, his army, and shimo. While also threatening godzilla who after this movie is very clearly the strongest titan. Wingard said himself he based this movie a bit of the godzilla destory all monsters video game... so at this point the only thing they can do is increase the stakes without getting to repetitive.

The gojis that ate a star isn't our goji since 1:this isn't cannon and 2:he is a slightly above average specimen just because of his expirience and evolution throughout the eons, the average goji would be like a slightly stronger version of the 2014 goji, also the Kong skull belongs to a kong that actually beat Godzilla when he was still young and relatively weak.
Btw Kongs, unlike gojis seem to age at a rather rapid rate for a titan, so the kong that we know and love didn't take part in the great titan war, so that scene in gvk is the first time he sits on the throne, btw Godzilla's evolved form was overkill since he prepared to fight Shimo, skar and the ape army all by himself, not knowing kong and mothra would aid him, and that's why he was just so dominant throughout the movie.

The fact that you called Godzilla a "walking pink weapon of mass destruction" has brought me back from my envy and feeling disgrace for the developers making Godzilla be more pink than Godzilla 2000. Of course everything else before that in the video played a part in this. But i thank you for your creativity and successful use of words to sway my feelings towards the new US Godzilla aesthetic. While most of my heart and feelings go to the new Toho version (Godzilla: Minus One) a new found part now has evolved to find love with the new US Godzilla. This was a great straight to the point observation of the lore. Great job. This would help others who didnt understand what is goin on in the monsterverse instead of complaining there is no story or lore, or complaining its just a simple monster battle movie. I wonder How they would bring in King Cesar and use the Iwi to awaken him or use another angle, what do you think? Or how to bring in Jet Jaguar as a Mech with highly advanced AI thats respondant to human emotion and protection of the earth? Obviously they cant make him shrink and expound when they want so id rather see Jet Jaguar grounded in reality... unless they can intelligently make him grow without it seem goofy.

However I don't think Shimo caused the Ice Age from 2 billion years ago, that was snowball earth, when there was no animal nor plant on the planet, just single celled organisms. I don't think Shimo or any other titan was alive back then.
I wanna know where the titan plants are... They seem somewhat integral to a well rounded story.
That's one thing that doesn't make sense and needs a fix; everything is absolutely massive and there are many alien like creatures in Hollow Earth, yet every plant is regular sized ones we see on normal Earth. Especially considering apes there have elongated arms and fingers which would be used for climbing trees. Gotta boost them all up in size to make their environment more believable

I like to think that the monsterverse started with something like 'destroy all monsters', when Ghidorah arrived to earth, to take over the planet he leaded the evil titans, mutos and skullcrawlers, against Godzilla and the other titans. That also would explain why almost all titans have just one member left of each species, with just the hollow earth titans as exceptions.
