No she didnt have a choice. Because she was trapped in the parallel universe where she had build her life with her family and dad. And she belonged there and the Doctor told her that she couldnt go back once the door is closed. And Rose couldnt just live with the Doctor forever and abandon her family anc father
Lol, the ending just about killed me XD But in all seriousness, both were heartbreaking in their own ways. Although, for whatever reason Rose's ending was less satisfying for me than Donna's. Yes, Donna had to forget and that was incredibly upsetting, but somehow the way they ended off that love story between the Doctor and Rose left a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure if anyone else feels similarly... but regardless, it bothers me a bit and I can't help looking back on it with just a little resentment.
Nah, even Billie Piper didn't like the ending she was given. I wasn't a big fan of Rose but she deserved better than that. Why bring her back at all, then?
Rose literally got her own Doctor to herself. How many people wish they could have their own Doctor she loved him and now she gets to grow old with him. If I was Rose I'd be happy.
@@ĽeóĢ-t2r Honestly, I go a lot easier on that ending now than I used to. I actually think it's a pretty good ending for Rose that gives her a chance at happiness while giving the Doctor some closure and forcing him to let her go. I still do think Rose's return though was a bit underwhelming given the buildup. Consequence of The Stolen Earth/Journey's End being so bloated, I suppose. A lot of characters felt like they didn't get much to do.
To be fair, he could see Mickey and Martha whenever he wanted. He was able to see them on the farewell tour, but had to watch Donna from afar and could only very passively see Rose before she ever met him. There's really nothing stopping him from going back as Matt Smith and grabbing food with them or something, which makes it a different kind of thing.
Of course you want to move on cuz that means you can a bit if the question that doesn't surprise me neither former 10th Doctor that doesn't surprise me in the least and yes I know the difference between reality and in in fantasy I'm not stupid
it's always better to lose someone and still love them, than to lose them AND lose all your memories of them.
"The hardest [to say goodbye to] had to be Wilfred Mott."
Ten/Wilf #confirmed.
Ten and rose are my otp
Did he just say shagging?!?! He just SHAGGING!!!! Holy shit David THANK YOU lmfao it's CANON!!!!!!
I see this so many times but I just know realized he said best mate
+derek peek I'm not really sure what it was that you were pointing out but yes, he said "one was a best mate and one was more of a girlfriend."
i think Donna was sadder cause she didn't have a choice. Rose made a choice to stand by him but lost him.

David I love you

It felt off and actually it was off, there were many plot inconsistencies regarding this ending

Wish I could hear him.
Well it was recorded with a point & shoot
I can't make out what he says at 0:43 and 2:01 :(
0:43 The hardest one to say goodbye to has been Wilfred Mott
2:01 I apologize for my language
Or Martha

Martha had a pretty happy ending though, particularly in comparison
