    Also... glad ur back with ur detailed videos. I think the small to large feed in strands look inauthentic. The strands should be fed in one size like a natural braid. No ones plaits go from skinny to thick so obviously(Imo). Its usually the opposite. Thick to skinny(tapered). Yet either way ur hair results are the best always 🥰!!

    Can someone me why some people leave tht one strand out, braid then braid that strand back in...while others just braid the strand in without doing that yet they both have the same end results? Why leave tht strand out at first?

    • @ItsMeMissRuby
      @ItsMeMissRuby  5 лет назад +1

      C Love Beauty yes. I actually do it both ways it just depends on the thickness of the natural hair I am working with in combination with the thickness of the pieces I’m adding. I’ve actually done it the other way (where I immediately braid the strand in all at the same time) and the braids ended up being more sloppy… So I find that leaving it out while braiding it down a little bit more than adding it back in just kind of helped finish it a little bit more smoothly… But honestly, for the most part, it doesn’t make a big difference I’m just used to doing it that way because that’s how I learned in the beginning 🤷🏽‍♀️😂🤗

    • @CLoveBeauty
      @CLoveBeauty 5 лет назад +2

      @@ItsMeMissRuby ohhhh...I see. So there IS a difference in the way it looks. It's all about if leaving the braid out first, it's a bit thinner than braiding it in all at once. I learned both ways at the same time on RUclips and thought cause *BeautyCanBraid does it that way, it's the correct way then I saw others doing the other way which was faster and looked the same. I got it now. Ima test both ways and take pics to compare. THANK YOU! AND OMG YOU REPLIED TO ME! PLEASE KEEP CREATING DETAILED HAIR VIDEOS! YOUR ARE THE GOAT WHEN IT COMES TO DETAILED VIDEOS!!!💯❤🤗

      @@CLoveBeauty Yes girl, I'm so glad it makes sense cuz I have a tendency to overcomplicate things sometimes. My brain is extremely analytical like you so I've had the same questions. lol. And np, I need to do better with replying to people 🤦‍♀️Oh, and, I'll do my best about the videos too. I started using pre split hair and your grip has to be on point also don’t braid your natural hair down so long then add hair make sure the first two pieces are smaller so it looks like a gradual change

    Hi! In my opinion I don't think the purpose of braids is to make it look like your natural hair. In the 90s it definitely didn't matter 😊 it wasn't until this whole "knotless" craze that it started to shift to looking as natural as possible. I love them but sometimes I rock the throwback box braid bob with the blunt cut ends 😖I even burn the ends when I want that nostalgia feeling 😌😌
