That whole area is nice, the best fishing is if you walk to a isolated lake. You should have seen it in the late 60s and early to mid 1970s. The coal company owned it then. Many more lakes, more campgrounds, lastly you could camp anywhere even back in the woods with a tent. Those were the glory days for this area it was called ohio power area. But its still worth going to, never very crowded except the 4th july memorial day weekend and labor day weekend. As always have fun !

Just remember April 22 starts Turkey season and I’m sure hunters will be camping every weekend for a month.

It cost between $15 & $20 for gas, it will cost more when we drive the big van.
