      Are you assuming this clearly woman, woman is a woman? What gave it away? The crying, the makeup, the outfit? Other people here are right, she's acting like a toddler. Unbelievable how stupid people have become. I like how she misgendered the "guy" in the bar by calling the person him and claiming, of all things, that he was a Straight White Male. Straight? I suppose that could happen in a gay bar, but........
      Oh, and her 'wife" looks an awful lot like an asian dude. So she's basically in a straight relationship but that's just not marginalized enough for her. Used to be that when a man and a woman formed a relationship, they were considered straight unless she's a beard or something.

    Thanks for speaking about this Arielle. My grandmother is a lesbian. Not queer ze/zem or any of the crazy stuff, just a woman who likes other women. She is done with this new wave of nonsense that claims to be "queer" or "LGBTQ+". She lived through Stonewall and AIDS, and is very ashamed of these people causing overall community acceptance to go down the toilet. The pronouns, the very fragile mentality, the name-calling, the "date me or youre a bigot", the transitioning kids - people like her and in her generation are very tired of it and think its out of control. The LGBT community did not fight this hard to be turned into a TikTok trend and have a mockery be made of them.

      @yamisice ABSOLUTELY!!! I am in AA and NA and I am now a social worker. I know a lot about genuine mental health issues and illness.
      The people who I know who suffer from these kinds issues, and these are people in my social community, work community and clients - when they have a genuine anxiety attack or bout of depression - isolate - which is not healthy either (but it's realistic) i unfortunately do it myself.
      When I have mental health issues, I isolate and feel like I can't connect back with society until I am 'better' I am learning to reach out. But doing it on social media in that context is disingenuous, almost offensive and insulting.
      I do connect with people via social media regarding my mental health but they are extremely private support groups and started during the covid lockdown.
      You can tell when someone has genuine issues or if they just want attention. ..... I suppose needing attention and validation through this medium is actually due to another kind of psychological illness. But with all this fake, delusional and narcissistic people to sort through - it's hard to find who is real.

Us actual LGBT people don't have anything to worry about in the modern day for the most part. In my job, i was brought in with a group of 10 temporary employees, most of us were guys. Myself and another guy are gay and 2 others are bisexual. We have faced absolutely no discrimination in our company. In fact, 5 of us were hired into permanent members of staff, both myself and the other gay guy and one of the bi guys. We have what we wanted as a community, we aren't unfairly treated and our success is based on our merits, not our bedrooms. The problem is that these types of people are leeching onto our movement, playing dress up and acting like they're oppressed when everyone can see that they're not and unfortunately to the layman, they just see people from the "LGBT community" bitching about nothing and so we all get lumped in with them

It doesn’t matter if this individual is early in THEIR transition- that’s THEIR OWN life. It doesn’t mean anyone else HAS to conform to their own beliefs and how they see themselves. It doesn’t matter how that person feels - it’s about getting in trouble for you not conforming to how they see themselves. I would personally refer to someone who is a male but presents as a woman as she to be kind to them- if someone looked like a male but wore lipstick I wouldn’t refer to them as she. Maybe if they told me they wanted to be called she - I might try to force myself to use that pronoun to be nice but nothing should be forced on anyone. It’s why being LGB is so different - we aren’t forcing anyone to be LGB - we wanted to be allowed to be that TQ+ are forcing people to conform to their ideology.
      Edit - I’m not saying here that TQ+ are forcing people to be trans (that’s a separate argument) but I mean that LGB are not saying you HAVE to accept me. It’s just saying you know we are here and we have rights to live our lives. I believe trans people should be able to live their lives completely equally but that doesn’t mean forcing other people to change what they say or how they feel. Idc if people are homophobic- just don’t let your beliefs affect how I live my life.

It just speaks to their privilege and lack of real struggle. Older Gen-Zers lived through the Puirty Culture movement; for those of us who were LGBT, we may have been harassed, shamed, or abused for our feelings. That was actual oppression. I didn't realize I was bisexual until my 20s because I grew up being taught that gayness is evil. We do not need to make something as silly and stupid as misgendering into a soap box to claim oppression. This chick is pathetic, self-centered, and looking for any excuse to claim she's a victim. It spits in the face of actual LGBT people who have struggled and fought for all of us to have rights.

      Back in the 90's I had a gay friend beaten so badly I didn't even recognize him. Turns out, gay people were getting attacked and robbed almost every night here in downtown Austin. I and my friends organized police to stand guard on the roofs over-looking the gay bar district, and after a few arrests, the robberies/beatings stopped. The police knew these attacks were routinely happening downtown, but expressed exasperation that gay men either wouldn't report it for fear of being outed, or they'd report it and refuse to press charges for the same reason. So gay guys would rather take a beat down rather than risk letting the world know they were gay. It is not that way anymore--in fact, being gay is almost a plus. These mentally fragile "queers" have no idea how bad things used to be. To think we had the luxury of sobbing uncontrollably over a stupid word or pro-noun is just shocking for those of us who experience rampant discrimination and violence when there really was a problem. I've seen this in younger cis women. They don't want to be called women, so they'll call themselves nonbinary and use they/them or they/she pronouns. At the same time, they do absolutely nothing to their appearances to make themselves look more androgynous or masculine. They look like normal, run-of-the-mill cis women. It's not that they actually don't want to be a woman. If that were the case, they would alter their appearances so they didn't look like cis women. But they don't because they don't actually want to be something other than a woman. They want to be trendy and perceived as cool or different. I also think some of these women have internalized misogyny and think that being seen as a cis woman is a shameful thing. The chick in the video is just like those supposedly nonbinary girls. She presents super fem, calls her wife her wife, and gives no indication visually that she is anything but a cis lesbian. She cannot get mad at people for assuming she's cis when she puts in no effort to signal that she's not.

But that said, we did get "participation" certificates, which were handed out (rather unceriomonally I might add) in class printed on different coloured "fancy" paper with our names handwritten on them by our teacher. I kept a handful of mine just for sentimental reasons (like if they were from a favourite teacher or a subject I enjoyed) but I often just threw the rest of them out because of how "hollow" they all were "congrats you tried, here's a low effort token of acknowledgement."

I know that may anger some people, but I'm a good person. My daughter and I are on the opposite end of the political aisle, but she doesn't throw any queer or pronoun craziness at my wife or me because she is very respectful. I've asked her to please not get involved in the radical LGBT lobby because I want her to live her best life. Arielle, I enjoy your videos and value the way you help to explain this madness with clarity. We don't have to agree on everything, but I sure respect you so much. I have never known a single person who called themselves "queer" in this modern era (over the last 8 years or so) that wasn't doing it to feel a part of something and to fit in. Not actually gay in anyway and claim "non binary" because they like to wear dresses some days, fix cars, or feel more masculine or feminine occasionally.🙄 They need therapy and shadow work. They need real hobbies. They need to get off their damn phone and computers. It's encouraging the seeking of validation.

    Oh my god, her being upset at being called "ladies", yet doing that clown makeup where you put lipstick OUTSIDE of your lips to have more feminine heart-shaped looks (which looks fine on camera & social media, but looks like CLOWN makeup irl). These people need to know that you have TWO identities, your personal identity, your autonym, and the identity that society, others around you, and outside groups give you, your exonym. You can't control your exonym, and if it isn't overtly bigoted in some way, not just in your imagination, I'm sorry, it is just the English language. You can't be so self-important and narcissistic that you expect people to change the English language just based on your whims. People will not put up with it for long.

    • @ladycaticorn2950
      @ladycaticorn2950 11 месяцев назад

      Exactly! The world is going to see you how it wants to see you; there's not a whole lot you can do about that. But in the case of the girl crying about being called a lady, she literally does NOTHING to try to indicate to others that she is something other than a woman. She is extremely feminine-looking, wears feminine clothing and makeup, and speaks in a dainty voice. Literally anyone would assume she's a woman because she looks, acts, and sounds like one. If she was so concerned with being nonbinary, she would present in more androgynous or masculine ways. It is unreasonable to expect people to see you a certain way when you do absolutely nothing to visually indicate to them that you are different than what they would assume. She is unhinged and childish.

As you can imagine...I felt like a fish out of water, out of my natural environment, most of the time I was drinking and trying to go unnoticed, and I had to endure the occasional compliment or insinuation in a polite manner. I felt offended but no one present there was to blame for that, it was all my fault for going in there knowing what kind of place it was in the first place, so I was there for about 3 hours and then I left without making a sound or bumping into anyone.
