The problem within India is if you are atheist you have to point faults of all religion or else you will be term anti-certain religion. And generally people tends to know more about the religion that they belonged. For ex, I myself was born in Hindu family and when I left my religion , I was often consider anti-hindu for only the reasons which I stayed included Hinduism(since I had no knowledge of others), so I read a little bit on other religion so when explaining my point, it includes all religion. It's better to be called anti-religion (which atheist are not always) than anti-hindu/anti-muslims etc
I am an atheist myself but I respect people who choose to be religious. I have friends from multiple religions and I don't feel anything different when I'm around them. I just don't think I want to follow a religions. But I've been to Mosques, Churches, Temples and other religious institutions. Tbh, I feel like, going there is a therapy. The problem within India is if you are atheist you have to point faults of all religion or else you will be term anti-certain religion.
And generally people tends to know more about the religion that they belonged.
For ex, I myself was born in Hindu family and when I left my religion , I was often consider anti-hindu for only the reasons which I stayed included Hinduism(since I had no knowledge of others), so I read a little bit on other religion so when explaining my point, it includes all religion.

I am an atheist myself but I respect people who choose to be religious. I have friends from multiple religions and I don't feel anything different when I'm around them. I just don't think I want to follow a religions. But I've been to Mosques, Churches, Temples and other religious institutions. Tbh, I feel like, going there is a therapy. I take my book with me and read sitting there. But the hate being swerved by religions is hurtful and against humanity
