how to drag multiple clips? I can only use CTRL to pick them one at a time but the usual SHIFT to select all of them doesn't work in movavi. Maybe another shortcut key?

I don't understand exactly what you mean. I assume you're talking about thumbnail. That's not set in Movavi or any video editor. It's done on the video platform where you share your video. For example, here on RUclips, you can upload your own custom thumbnail

Hello, Great video. I need help with recording with Movavi. So let me explain. I have movavi installed and I used it to take a screen recording of a google chat I had. So the video of the screen recorded. The sound from the participants also recorded. The only thing missing was my own voice. So it was a video recording with sound from google call participants but not my voice. During the call, I had my headset connected to the computer via he laptop jack. Could this be the reason? Is it possible to record the google call with my headset connected to the laptop either via the jack or via bluetooth? Thanks for your support Regards.

I have 2 quick question. I know .MOV files are large. When I convert them to .MP4 there is terrible distortions. When a project is complete using .MOV's would it be better to export as .MOV? I want my youtube vids in .MOV. Also, when exporting .MOV project to RUclips will the project remain .MOV? I want to buy this but my projects must remain in .MOV. Can you trim a clip before putting it in the timeline? I'm using the moviezilla program right now and finding it difficult because I have some clips that are like an hour long and I don't want to go through the whole thing to find the clip I want and then have to drag it all the way back. I want to find a program where you can chop it up before putting it in the timeline.

Glad you like it! I don't remember really, you'll have to check with Movavi, but I believe it was limited, as it's mostly oriented for beginners and user-friendliness

You have an excellent teaching rhythm and voice to go with your instruction material. With Movavi, I am reading children's stories on line with visual effects and music... I find the several lines of audio and video difficult to navigate in the right hand scroll "thread".. Any way to make that right hand scoll line wider? Any shortcuts for up and down scrolling?
Thanks for saying that, I appreciate it! Not sure if you're referring to the timeline scale? Zooming in our out on the timeline? I cover that at 2:25. Or if you're talking about going up and down on your timeline where you have multiple audio or video tracks on top of each other, then it's just scrolling simply like that. Or making your timeline windows larger and the others smaller. Or just editing on a larger monitor.

I'd go with Filmora personally. but regardless of your choice, you can do anything with both of them. If you give me a rock, I can still edit a video lol

That's a very specific question that you should ask Movavi support. But generally updated video editing softwares can open projects saved in an older version without any issues.

You mean the lower third where I name the part of the video? Those are made in Final Cut Pro, but Movavi also has some Lower Thirds which you can use (see the Text section of the tutorial)
You're welcome! Movavi is great and easy to use. Personally I just switched to Final Cut Pro on my iMac and I absolutely love it. So if you already know how to use iMovie, I think the switch to Final Cut Pro is going to be very easy and it has literally everything you will ever need. I'd suggest you have a look at that first!

Hello! I need some urgent advice. I tried to export a 60 minutes video with movavi 12 and it stopped at about 40 percent advising me to contact movavi support team. Do you know anything about this? Late reply, but no idea, you should just contact Movavi support. As far as I know there is no time limit on the export, so I doubt it's that. Maybe share the logs or something with them, they'll be able to help

Nice explanation.....you skipped over the resolution in the export screen so does it do 4K?

You press the plus on the left side in the timeline, you can fit around 10 in.

I made that manually, but you can make it in Movavi too. It’s just a solid color moving, with motion blur and some SFX

Yes, you can import any audio files. As long as you can transfer those from your phone to your computer, sure.
