Rowey was my coach through the county age group set up, the best coach I’ve ever been around and taken so much of what he taught me into my cricket. Great to see him passing on his wisdom to yourself 👏🏻
Loved watching this and seeing the immediate impact the session had on your game Amazing- and well done for applying the input from Phil so effectively
Tried it today it was absolutely amazing. I didn’t set up with my front foot in the air but when I triggered my back foot back and across I picked up my front foot instead of planting it. Amazing!
What an incredibly insightful coaching session. Even just the start when he was getting to know you as a cricketer was so mind opening. Thank you for sharing bud :D
Proper coaching! Getting to know the internal workings of a player before working on the externals. Keep going Dan, keep up the coaching lessons because not only will it greatly benefit you but it is also a great example for all cricketers to understand how valuable quality coaching is. Far more valuable than a £1000+ kitbag. I have my own story with a professional coach and the impact it had on a young guy who never played cricket until he was 18. Once you improve your physical skills and technique you will likely feel comfortable in placing some higher expectations on what results you can achieve. Good on ya mate!
I’m 65 now and 8 years retired from club cricket. How I wish this sort of coaching advice had been around for the younger me to take in and improve my game.
wow, i tend to have my weight on front foot before the bowlers bowled too and so im not great at offside drives, usually hitting them square or behind square and also get trapped when the ball is straight, definitely giving this a try
Yeh interesting he said that, look at Harry brook has an early trigger but Christ he is so far over his front foot going at the ball - diff schools of thought spose
If you still don't have a century by next season, come down and have a knock against us. I can guarantee LB won't be a danger, and we're unlikely to catch you at cover. It'll be a shoo in
Wary of bowling machine deliveries that feed half volleys outside off. Foot is planting outside off now facing the covers. Ball on leg stump and you're playing across your front pad
@@danjadzz well done on the good scores, remember to move as late as possible, but you're obviously doing something right From someone who's got a ton before, it's an amazing feeling, and one I'm sure you ll feel soon
haha my high score is 67 too 😀😀😀late starter also.. 😂🤣🤣 played only for last two years consistently but still missing few games with injury (getting older).. lol

I can only dream that one day I will have one training session in such facilities 😭😭🤩
Dan about to dominate league cricket!!!
Let’s do this!!!
This was such a good session Dan, Phil is a great coach! Have you scored any runs since the video?
Scored 2 50’s since the session, it’s been a great help 🙏

Yep important to keep in mind what might work for 1 might not work for another
Ha where are we talking? :)

Yep absolutely, that’s the benefit of a machine, since the session I’ve had 2 50*’s and a 47 too

Thanks so much for watching 🙏
Hello Dan keep up the good content
Hey, thanks!🙏
Where you have focused on head position so much it's possible you have neglected the front foot. So it's great that's worked you....
A really good session, and really well delivered too
haha my high score is 67 too 😀😀😀late starter also.. 😂🤣🤣 played only for last two years consistently but still missing few games with injury (getting older).. lol
Late starter... Try mid 30s 😬
Hopefully this technique might help for you 🙏
First keep it up!
