As much as I love Dami and think she has a voice that is hard to compete with (I loved the season of the XFactor she won), I can't see Eurovision ever crowning her the champion, no matter how much she may deserve it. If it was the case, she would have been the winner the year she finished runner up. You have to consider the competition...it's called Eurovision....all other countries are located within Europe. It's always been designed to travel around Europe every year, which isn't really that much travel. If Dami would win, the entire production would have to be moved half way across the world. I can't see that happening. Australia was invited as a one off to celebrate the big anniversary, and no one really was sure they would be invited back. I think it is great they have continued to compete, but I can't see moving the production so far, and I think the jury would make sure it didn't happen.

Crap singers get edited to sound good in the studio, while great singers don't require much editing and sound the same live as they do on recordings. I've heard bands live that sounded horrible but heard others (at the same concert, on the same audio equipment) that sounded just like their cds

i listened to both studio versions, they both sound great but Dami does the high notes that Dotter does not do and it makes a difference i think.
