A mother dog adopts stray kittens to look after them herself. She even breastfeeds them and all. But what's strange is that she doesn't care about her own puppy! Why does she behave this way? The lonely puppy gets jealous of the kittens and harasses them. What would be the solution?

Puppy doesn't know any better. He's not trying to hurt kittens.......he just wants to be in box with mom & kitties. They should have let pup stay with kittens fur awhile. While they watched of course. Mom is making sure all kitties are fed & full, since her pup is big & strong......not needing her. Even though pup don't need his mom's milk......he still wants it. Maybe he wants to just be close to her. Mom does let him have some milk after all kitties are fed.....lol. What an awesome mommy!!! I love her!!!

I agree. She was just making sure both her kittens and her puppy were well fed! My 3 year old nephew wanted to breat feed from his mother when she gave birth to a new baby. And while my sister did let him feed sometimes she'd have to let him know that the baby had to eat first. I'm sure it's hard for any species to ve a good parent but she's trying to love them all and that's awesome!

Most have that Mother Madonna image but all species including humans have a wide range of behaviors that are and aren't wholesome or healthy, life affirming or idyllic. The old adage " children having children having children " comes to mind. Also many species will abuse, neglect, even eat their young if seen as deficient, or as a means of population, territory or other controls.
No, the're are a lot of bad mothers, who killed or hurt their soons, animals and humans.
The mummy dog is REALLY A LOVING & CARING MUM...SHE DOESN'T MIND TO FEED the kittens EVENTHOUGH she has her own puppy...I GUESS SHE EVEN TELL HER PUPPY TO BE A BIG SISTER/BROTHER & LOOK AFTER the kittens when SHE IS AWAY...ALL ARE ADORABLE 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

From what the video shows, it looks like mom is being very appropriate with both kittens and pup. Btw, how old is this cute little pup? Seems mom is separating them and still feeding and playing with the little guy. So cute. What a great mom! Thank you!!❤️

Подкинули недавно в под"езд маленькую кошечку, а у меня дома две собаки, но я решила забрать котёнка. Принесла домой назвала Мухой. Но вот стала моя Муха близко с Боней дружить, потом смотрю, а она сосёт Боню. Щенков нет, а Боня приняла его как родного. Так, что у меня такое чудо есть, правда не знаю появились ли молоко, но Муха спит только сБоней приложившись к соскам.

To the mum the puppy has been weaned. He could however really damage the kittens. The human needs to interact with the puppy and support them having been weaned.
