SHE WAS KILLING HIM DUMBO HE WAS IN DESPERATE PAIN !!! Rats squeak when they are in danger,scared,or when they are being hurt. The tail is one of the most sensitive parts of the rats body and can be really painful if you pick it up by it’s tail especially as she used tongs.he would of not been squeaking he was screaming.and it’s not cute that he is in pain.and also if u think I’m making this up I have basically every rat book in the world and I own two myself:Sam and billy

#1: That is a mouse, you can tell by the distinct size of it's limbs and the thinkness of its tail.
#2: Never, EVER pick up any animal like that, especially eats and mice because their tails are very fragile, but useful. They use them to regulate body temperature, keep balance, keep good bloodflow, and sometimes even fight!
#3: You can tell that this little mouse is in fact a female because they do not have visible testicles and if it was a male, they could have been a pet that someone has lost as they could have been neutered
#4: If you do happen to find a rat or mouse in your house, please pink it up with GLOVED HANDS ( because you do not want to hurt it and you don't know where it has been ) and call pest control. Do not worry though, if you tell them to not harm them, they will decide on something else. And be sure to check for droppings!
Moral of the story:
Don't pick up a mouse with tongs 🙂
and rats/mouse tails are part of their spine, so it can severely damage the spinal cord
