I was working as a cashier when I was a week away from the birth of my first son. A Palestinian woman demanded that someone get me a chair and made sure I was comfortably off my feet before she left the store. No one has ever done something like that for me in my entire life and I never forgot it. She didn’t know me but it didn’t matter because we are supposed to take care of each other.

Hi, I’m an indigenous person from very close to Tulsa. I’m only in Oklahoma because of the Indian removal act and the Trail of Tears. The amount of similarities between the Trail of Tears and the Nakba has been one of my biggest motivators to advocate for Palestinians since I started learning more in the early 2010’s. It’s unexplainably disturbing to see how much worse it keeps getting. How much can you ask a group of people to endure before they snap? Smh

I don't have palestinian friends and for me, what is happening in Gaza and in the West Bank it's not right. When I'm reading the comments on CNN, FOX etc.. and people just show empathy for Israel and their children, when I'm reading Israel must don't stop bombing and fighting when everyone have in front of them eyes the level of destruction, suffering and dead of civilians including children, I feel so bad.. it's really unbelievable. I recall first hearing the term "settlers " used in Hollywood-produced Western movies to refer to American gun-slinging settlers otherwise called cowboys who often were depicted fighting and massacring the indigenous American people, who were disparagingly called Savages.
But why are those movies called "Westerns"? Because white Europeans, British to be exact, who fled religious persecution in England, had originally settled along the Eastern Seaboard. But as settler colonies grew, they decided to head West, which began first as a trickle but the discovery of gold saw turn into a cascade.
Most of America's indigenous people lived on the vast western plains, and in their push west, attracted by gold, white European settlers often and systematically gunned down those so-called Savages, primitively armed with bows and arrows - in much the way white European/Israeli settlers today gun down the "brown" indigenous people of Palestine for the sake of taking their land.
Settler violence against the true and original American people is what is largely depicted by Hollywood's Western movies, and in everyone, the settlers/cowboys are always presented as the victor/"star" and the always-defeated Indians as being the villain.
From its inception, American colony society was racist and to this day continues to be racist. When in the 18th century, white Europeans got on ships and boats to cross the Atlantic to America, racism and bigotry were passengers on board. Thus, from the start, racism was part of the DNA of the white settlers who fled slave-dealing England to America, and to this day racism remains a part of America's DNA; therefore, none should be surprised that Israel, America's protégé, is an inherently racist nation, a condition which, without external or international pressure, it will not easily get rid of.

And this gaza thing isnt remotely like the American and Canadian story. Not remotely. Europeans came to north America over 200 years before the revolutionary war because there was room for them European jews went to israel in a matter of a few years with the intent to drive out or kill the Palestinians, not live next to them .

"Terrorists " "Savages" the old tactics used in Israel are coming from old leadership. We were peacefully living before the settlers.
When will the colonizers be held to account for all the kidnapping here in the USA? Native American people and children. Putting us in a zoo over seas for ppl to look at.
The truth is coming out. God is displeased. ❤ The news is refusing to report the atrocities committed by Israeli solders/American men, dressed up as Israeli soldiers?
No internet or electrical??? Why to hide crimes. No medical? Why so they die of disease 😔 this is exactly like the attempted extermination of Native American and Black African Americans!!!
    ❤ always wins. ♥️

Israel controls 0.2% of the Middle East. Arabs - 99.8%. And there are 2 million Arabs in Israel. How it is possible that all the Arab problems are at these 0.2%, while at the other 99.8% there a plenty of completely failed states - Syria, Yemen. Libya, Lebanon, Somali, Iraq... Isn't it crazy?

Interesting - from 10:38 or so - that many US police departments get trained by Israeli advisers and how that feeds back into US policing.

The Tulsa Race Massacre started on the morning of June 1st 1921 and continued over the next several days. The Black section of Tulsa - Greenwood - comprised 34 city blocks. All were razed to the ground with some 250 deaths. The most insightful part of the sorry episode related to the archives of Tulsa newspapers - all have a gap of several days in that first week of June. It wasn't that the papers weren't published THEY WERE PUBLISHED BUT WERE SUBSEQUENTLY REMOVED FROM ALL ARCHIVES TO WIPE THE EVENT FROM HISTORY. They weren't just put in a safe or something either. They were destroyed. This is why - even now when the massacre is common knowledge it is impossible to find contemporaneous newspaper reports.
The effort to erase the incident was pretty successful too: the story of the massacre was unknown beyond the minds of survivors and their families until the 1970s!
Oh yes, the only persons ever brought to court for the race riot were some of the Blacks who had just had their homes and businesses burned to the ground by their white neighbours.

We lived in the West Bank for a few years and we saw the apartheid mentality. We saw more than most people have gotten to experience and really have not had a voice until this war/genocide. People are coming to us with questions trying to understand. God works all things for good! With all of the horrible pain, suffering and atrocities, I believe God will work good through it all and in it the world is beginning to know the truth! That is a beginning. I too have felt helpless. Weeping and praying all through the days with Palestinians.

Through some of the beautiful documentaries presented via Aljazeera. I'm touched by the strong essence of the Palestinian people. The fisherman/ woman of GAZA who is the breadwinner of her family along with her siblings. I'm praying for her and all of the innocent victims who are really hostages themselves because of the military Zionist Colonial Occupation in their own land as well as the people in the West Bank
May a cease fire and true peace come unto these people.

The strange thing is that all these atrocities, these unacceptable colonial acts of violence, took place before, in silence. Even if you followed Palestinian news, it wasn't clear what was going on, the deprivation of electricity, gas and so on. Israel had already practised this blackmail before, surrounded by its usual practice of massacres, in the form of collective sadistic torture. But never before had it been so clearly and so savagely carried out by a regime with archaic practices and cave mentality from another age...

Recently in a talk show in German government-founded TV (ARD) someone of the guests argued against the usage of the term 'apartheid' stating that this term should not be used because eventually it means that the existence of Israel is coming to an end by means of violent assaults.
Being German myself, I don't know how to comment this.

What the past 6 weeks has shown me and I think a lot of individuals who are normally just engrossed in their day to day living, it has woken me up to:
    1. Be aware of your surroundings and your world. Don't live in a bubble of ignorance. You are a part of a whole. Whatever affects each part affects you too, sooner or later, that is the ripple effect of nature.
    2. Trust only yourself then you are accountable to yourself. Seek information and resources your own way and don't just passively be spoon-fed. Check, double check, triple check, cross check.
    3. I do not trust any government nor media outright anymore.
    4. Tune in to the essence in you that is pure - is it in lined with love, compassion, acceptance and respect. If not question it.
    5. Question Everything!
    6. Stand up and voice out for what you know is right.

Gaza was a part of Egypt between 1948-1967. And no Egyptian ever thought to create a "Palestinian state" there. Why? Because they know it is absurd. And Israel asks Egypt to take Gaza back for the last 45 years - Egypt doesn't want this garbage.

I can’t believe this interview doesn’t have more views yet they are definitely trying to suppress the viewing. This is such a good interview. Shaun is such an amazing, intelligent and genuine person. everything he says is so spot on. I don’t have Palestinian friends but I did my own research and can see what’s happening and it is inhumane. I consider myself a Christian and the Bible says to love thy neighbour and not kill. I have been told the Quran says the same as well. What is happening is like he said layers upon layers of horrible things. Apartheid, dehumanisation, colonialism, ethnic cleansing , genocide. It is an absolute massacre 😢this needs to stop and we need to continue to speak up despite I trying to silence everyone

I am wondering if I am also desensitized. For me, Hamas (and their tactics) is the difference. We have family in the military that have first hand accounts of their brutality. Ergo my own personal bias……..

Just to educate you, the Zionist terrorist ousted 700,000 Palestinians in the first Nakba in 1948, where there was no PLO nor Hamas! Moreover look up the Zionist Dalet plan of 1948, in which they clearly stated their aim which is to ethnically cleanse all non Jews from. A broader area beyond Palestine! So in accordance with international Law Israel as a settler coloniser and controller of the territory have no right to defend itself if attacks upon it emanates from the terrorories which they occupy! And when our western governments and msm start off every sentence saying ‘Israel has a right to defend itself’ is just not true, and by saying this for 70 years have desensitised people to the actual international law on war/ conflict, also Hamras was created by israel to oppose the PLO, and even as late as 2019 Netanyahu stated he needs Hamas to be funded so he can use them to ensure Israel will never have to have a two state solution., it’s important that you know the difference between freedom fighters and brutal settler colonisers!
