I love that Lenny's such a pure soft boi, that he actually got a heartfelt moment out of Eugene even though he's not Eugene's grandson. They're both easily my favorites this season.

I honestly think there might be a reveal that it could either be Lenny or Jerry that could be his grandson. Week 4 could lead me to believe me to think its Jerry and this week to believe its Lenny.

Everything about this series is perfect. I've never seen someone play 9 different characters in dialogue with each other, and make them all seem like individual people. It's amazing and the world needs more of it.

His acting is great but his writing of comedy and as a dramatic writer too. It's a good part of this show and now that this crazy episode has ended, it shows how brilliantly he draws up characters.
That makes two of us.
The interaction between Lenny and grandpa cardinal is one of the few instances of a sincere human moment expressed by the latter all season long
Yeah I personally really enjoyed the fact that in that whole sequence, there was peace. Beyond a few shots at Lenny's monologues, no one was shit talking. Lenny was earnestly trying to reach Wildflower out of genuine friendship and as you say, his conversation with Eugene was a wonderfully acted interaction, where tellingly; their teams never came up.
It wasn't a Cardinals fan, talking to a Chiefs fan, it was just 2 people, having a conversation. Plus I think Lenny has read Eugene better than most.
Not only did Mac lose the only man who actually treated him like a father, but he might get the Carl treatment.

This line becomes heartbreakingly true when it comes to Mack: ostracized by parents, dismissed as First Mate by Cap'n Finn... and his inevitable demise. He said he represented something new (the Las Vegas move) - the honor he had when he was named First Mate was stripped from him in Week 10, and now... his life is done.
I read up on Richard II - and it reminds me of what the Raiders dichotomy has going on right now with Mack and the Cap'n. All I have to say is... *_Thomas Grossi, you utterly magnificent, studious bastard._*
I don't know the story, but I don't think Mack's done quite yet. Breck just hit him with a rock, once. I think he comes back in the end and takes out Breck, and then Finn names him Cap'n.
At least, that's my fantasy booking.
I wouldn't be surprised if Mack's destiny depends on whether the Raiders win or lose this week

For most Seahawks fans we lost to a team with no name, but for me we lost to Wildflower and I wouldn’t wanna lose against anyone else

Can we talk about Lenny and Grandpa Cardinal? Lenny is the first person in weeks to truly attempt to reach an understanding with and be genuinely compassionate towards the guy. Last time anyone showed him true respect was before the merger, and that era ended when Louis snapped and told Eugene that his grandson doesn’t care about him.
To be fair, Grandpa Cardinal hasn't exactly been the most welcoming guy himself since getting the crown.
Oh gosh, yes. My first thought when Lenny actually expressed **sympathy** for Grandpa Eugene? Like a considerate human being? Thinking of Louis, who just... didn't do that.

Off-beat “Ahsoka Farewell” playing in the background while Lenny writes to Wildflower was a nice touch Tom, almost expected Lenny to write “your faithful and obedient servant” at the end

Yeah we were down our two best receivers, randy Gregory and Demarcus Lawrence. Plus there were 28 accepted penalties. Also Keith, the raiders are 6-5 which I do believe is the same record as your chargers. And wait, didn’t the cowboys beat the chargers? Yeah that’s right…. I love eckeler though, he’s the only player keeping my fantasy teams hopes alive
After that ending, I got a feeling that's not gonna be even close to the last death.
It's like Game of Thrones but without the shitty writing and character development
This show and the AFC East and NFC East proves how good of an actor and writer Tom is. While the points of comedy usually land, he is able to tell a deeper story about flawed and broken characters that either are the identities of the teams or are broken because of their fandom. Something that could be related to obsession over an identity or fanbase. The old guy is a masterfully written character that on the exterior, acts tough in front of the others and doesn't respect them because of the fact that he has lost for so long and feels entitled to this success despite the fact that he is just a fan and that because they are good, means he is above others but is also broken because he is just trying to impress is grandson. Brec is a brilliant character because well, he might just be crazy. He tries to gain everybody's respect with threats and cruel actions and this here proves it. He has an obsession with gambling and winning and it is put on full display here. Also fuck Lewis and Diego for partially being responsible for Mac's death.

This was a rollercoaster of emotions, got me right in the feels.

Same, I’m a Rams and Chargers fan, but I actually want the Cardinals and Chiefs to win just because I want to see Lenny and Grandpa Cardinal succeed.
Being a lion's fan I can't imagine caring about something more than this season would be too difficult with that record.
I say this as a Packers fan, this is my last year to get those playful ribs in before I'm in the basement with you.

I don't know, nor do I think anyone really does, how Jordan love is going to work out so there could be tough times for the Green and Gold in the near future. I would like to see the Lions at LEAST be competitive and maybe not make the Playoffs on a fluke. And not going 0 for the season multiple seasons would be nice too, but hey, I'm a Lions fan and a realist. I'll take what I can get.

Also, I have been picturing this as a real reality show all season, and find it horrifying that the producers of this show have done nothing to stop the murder conspiracies, let alone the actual murder.
What did you expect from executive producer Chomas?
It's not real. I never actually killed any Raider fan. Sure, I say I'm going to tear their head off and spit down their neck, or beat them to death with the arms I rip from their shoulders, but that's just because I learned how to smack talk from Lyle Alzado.
I don't think any producers are even there supervising. Nobody has once told them the rules of the show. In which case,how is the show even getting broadcast to people like Mack's parents?

Meanwhile Grandpa Cardinal is watchin the birds while Lenny is sending his friend Wildflower a leaf.
Mac after the depression hit shooed away the only person that treated him like a son and got murder, Damn son.
Diego and Louis are trying to have a way to turn it all around and put the house into motion for thier plan. But they forgot that Breck is insane and is no liar.
Did we forget that Lenny and Jerry and Wildflower all had Alex Smith.
This was a really good episode. Idk how you write and film these so quickly. Especially with the foreshadowing of the end half way through. Can’t wait for the next episode
I am completely blown away by the quality of your scripts. Your ability to put on a jersey, and become another person. How you are able to interact with yourself, and make it seem normal. You create a storyline for each of these diverse personalities. And then you are able to make me care bout what happens to them. It's like discovering a great book when you are young, and letting your imagination take you away! I am a big fan!

As a Seahawks fan, all I know is pain right now. We may not have much to play for now, but if we beat the niners, the show will get real spicy. And that’s something worth playing for.

I don't remember too much music in the older episodes but you absolutely crushed it. The dramatic score at the end really nailed the atmosphere of the scene.

The most impressive thing about this series, is not only the fact that Tom is making 10 (including wild flower) completely different characters easily recognisable via voice and mannerisms alone. But the fact that even he doesn't know what is going to happen as it is entirely based of how the teams go each week.

I’m trying to piece together the origins of the names of each character. Some of them are pretty obvious (Mack, Diego, and Jerry) but what about the others?

Eugene and Lenny friendship arc is really good. It almost makes me like the Chiefs... Almost.
Breck continues to disappoint me as a Broncos fan. Mack didn't deserve to go out like that. Sure it's the 2nd half of the season and a quick and maybe painless way out is probably superior to what the Raiders will get otherwise... But man Breck, it's clear if anyone was to get voted out of the house it would be Gavin.
I'm fully expecting after week 18 for Louis and Diego's schemes to be found out and they're kicked out, and ideally it coincides with both the Rams and Chargers not making the playoffs.
