It's refreshing how realistic and to the point her suggestions are. Compared to the flashy and childish advice we usually see on social media that have no basis in the real world
@@jasminj.844 always something new and interesting. that's rare with long-term content creators! I can't remember exactly but I seriously think I found her when I was in college like ten years ago or something. wild
This is the ONLY “how to reinvent yourself/how to build your dream life” video on RUclips that is *actually* realistic, actionable, and well-made! The advice resonated with me in comparison to all the current “advice” out there. Waking up early, journaling, exercise, declutter, etc. all that advice is repeated by the same RUclipsrs I’ve been seeing and while I don’t want to throw shade I am just fed up with being shown regurgitated surface-level content.
This channel has helped me so much and through so many life changes. I’m glad to see you still have so many practical tips to offer after all these years!
All I have is myself. I feel like even family are not supportive. I feel so ashamed of myself that I don’t feel like deserving of friends/relationships. I know that’s a negative mindset but it’s hard to overcome the mindset that’s been beaten into you by life experiences.
I've watched you with varying consistency since 2015 and I too am Autistic (peer/self dx) There is so much I am struggling with and I've been unemployed 2 months 😭 minimal support and too much anxiety and burnout
As someone who is also mildly autistic, I appreciate your perspective on this. I’m in the middle of a lot change and flux right now, and in the midst of trying to be a new person, find a different job, and having just graduated as a librarian, sometimes the life I want feels out of reach currently, or overwhelming to get there. To break the worry cycle, however, I use an inexpensive habit tracker to color code and organize things I’d like to work on, to make progress on who I want to become in a few years time instead of punishing my present self now for not being there yet (some of these goals also include things like homeownership and earning a steady of enough income for a foundation), so it’s helpful to remember these things take time. Also being a type B, low key, and calm kind of person, it feels good to know that it’s okay to still make progress but not feel bad about it because I’m not hustling like crazy every day. My approach to life than for others is different, and I want to thank you for feeling I don’t have to change the crux of who I am to please others, or to reach my goals. It’s great to be ambitious, but after having achieved so much already, now is the time I want to reacquaint just being a happy, single person again outside of graduate school without the pressure of constant performance or anxiety of potential failure. In short, I’d rather take a bite-sized approach to life now, instead of a mouthful to get things achieved. Thanks Rachel!
Hi Rach! Happy to see you! 💚🌻Wish you that your reinvention comes with your best version you want for yourself! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! 🤗
This is the first video that I've heard you mention autism. Would you feel comfortable sharing any of your diagnosis journey? I'm in a very difficult life spot right now, and I've found your videos to be very helpful for me. Thank you so much for the worksheet.
Thank you truly! This video came in perfect time, I tend to distract from my objective and this video along with the worksheet will help me tremendously, thanks again. ❤
Definitely needed this video ❤ I’ve been putting off starting a RUclips channel since last year. I feel like my job just takes up all my energy and trying to balance life with also working grave shift is challenging. I just need to stop finding reasons to not do it and just start
Could you do a video about autism? A few professionals have asked me if I've ever been diagnosied with autism, but there isnt anyone who is still alive that knew me when I was a kid, so I can't get a proper assessment.
You need to take the test, you pay for it and it gets evaluated. Getting diagnosed is a huge step in understanding why you are the way you are. Some people say what's the point once they hit 20, 30 or even 40 but until it's official, that person is operating off an assumption
It took me years to be able to afford a test, and I'm so glad I finally did it in my 30s. Is never too late. The spectrum is so huge... Self-diagnosis is dangerous, there are as many types of autism as there are people, and i think the experience of another person other than your own is just useless. Just for support maybe. But individual advice is really necessary for each person with autism. If you can do it... I encourage you to just go for it :)
This video comes right when I needed that kind of guidance! Also, unrelated with the subject but may I ask what is the lipstick you are wearing? ( I loooove that color )
@@BethVonBlack I don't think it's rude. It was just a question because I remember watching her channel back then when she had tremendous numbers. I subscribed to your channel by the way!

You can get assessed as an adult.
you need to see a professional for that. everyone's autism journey is different.

Just wanna say you loooook gorgeous gurl and are glowing ❤❤
This video has so much value ❤
Fantastic Art.
This was so helpful, thank you so much for sharing.
It sounds like you're working on that unmasking that you described in your recent video with (other) Rachel - are you finding that beneficial?
I'm glad you've got your autism diagnosis public. Planning my life is exhausting but this doesn't seem to be.
Off topic but i love the shade of green on your walls!! If you don’t mind me asking what the shade is?
