South Africa will never extend that to Nigeria. If they mistakenly extend it to Nigeria, they will regret it just like Dubia. Some of our people will abuse the benefits.

South Africa is dead. I'm Nigerian with a South African passport and left the country 5 months ago. It was the best decision!

It's mindblowing how you mention Nigerians in possession of a Ghanaian passport and not see any wrong in that. Nigerians are something else!

Calm down. There are many legit dual citizens. Is Ghana different from other countries' citizenship laws?

They won't extend such exemption to Nigeria due to the huge Nigeria population plus already high numbers of Nigerians in SA.

I agree, this is because of the behaviour of some Nigerians and we need to admit that.
      Nobody rewards bad behavior.
So many unpleasant things have affected good Nigerians because of those who have soiled our reputation.
Even those of us born and raised outside Nigeria are affected by it.

I doubt if same gesture will be extended to Nigerians 🇳🇬 any time soon.

This visa waiver with Gh is going to be bad... for Ghana.
The influx of our brothers & Sisters is going to multiple liker 100x...putting pressure on social amenities.
I pray SA grant our neighbours the same waiver, for peace and harmony to remain betwn us.

Nigerians need to face the fixing of Nigeria. If that is done, they won't want to go anywhere imho.
I'm in Ghana on vacation presently. Just like in Nigeria, everyone wants to leave. Ghanaians are not finding things funny here, unless they are rich.
      Protests all the time recently.
SA may find that Ghanaians will begin to overstay. Using a tourist visa to get in and staying illegally. That's their own bridge to cross though.

@@richardcampbell2357your best bet is to get married to her in Nigeria and bring her over to the US on a spousal visa. Or you can register her in a US college or nursing school and bring her over on a student visa

FYI it is both Ghana and South Africa waiving visas for its citizens not just South Africa granting Ghanaians visa free. Actually this discussion between the two countries had been going on for years as both countries couldn't agree with how to go about

We want Ghanaians in SA and not Nigerians please Kofi. Nigerians will spoil the name of Ghanaians if they start using your passports to come into other countries and committing the crimes that they are notorious for committing. They have a very negative reputation and personally, I'm happy for Ghana but hope Nigeria won't muddy the waters as relations between GH and SA have always been good.
