1) the president gets to live in a cool house and can have friends over whenever

I think some serious stuff was said that is not something to joke about. I think the father of Alton has a real temper problem, and if he is 'throwing' his kids around even if it is on the couch he should be arrested for childabuse. You do not hit or thow your kid around. Hypercube1729 I doubt it very much. I feel that if a child that age WAS being abused, he would be too afraid to talk about it. But he comes across as very confident and articulate, and it sounds more to me that he and his Dad have a great fun and close relationship.

Bearing that in mind, it sounds more like just a bit of rough-and-tumble playfighting to me. He actually sounded more worried that his Mum might find out that he’d been selling off the stuff she’d bought him to his friends!

Seriously, look up Democrat and Republican positions on social programs for the poor, and you will find that 'Democrats want to help, while Republicans do not' is an accurate (though simplistic) description of those policies.

Liberal-run states like to charge people for everything. Plus, those food banks that are used to distribute food to the poor... they're mostly run out of churches, and most church people are conservatives. The term "bleeding heart" liberal is more sarcastic than literal. The right to life and sustaining babies isn't on the liberal list of sympathies. They also aren't fans of freedom of speech, if you happen to say anything that they find disagreeable. Anything they don't tolerate, they want to label as hate speech. Being open-minded (to them) doesn't mean you have the right to have opposite convictions of them. Tolerance is not a mutual thing. It doesn't mean that they have to tolerate anyone else, but it does mean that everyone else must tolerate them. To the liberal, if you say something loud enough, long enough, and spread it around enough --- whatever they want to be truth becomes truth, rather than being actual truth seekers. They want truth to bow to their personal preferences, and think truth is relative, not absolute -- and this they are absolutely certain of.
