Ever since finishing the show I have felt somewhat narcissistically compelled to find a way to personally express to you how much I loved it and how much it meant to me. There were times that I felt like the show was staring into my soul. It was so obvious how much care and effort went into portraying the concepts expressed in this video. I’ve never enjoyed a tv show the way I did while watching this I was filled with so much emotion when I watched this I related in many ways to some of the trama endured in this series. Was sad 2 see it end. I’m excited about the movie finaly a proper ending coming soon.

Fantastic job! I didn't know that Showtime killed the series until I read the information for the video. You're right, I can't believe we're not going to have closure on this series. I know tv dramas don't last forever but to take such a powerful drama such as this and leave us all hanging in the breeze is just unforgivable.

ps. it would be really cool to see you do one for Micky, Jon voight played the character so well, and he was a tremendous character, he was a bad father, he wronged them so many times, but if push came to shove, and someone wanted his family's head, micky would never faulter and show he does love them. Seeing how well you made this tribute to Ray, I think you would do a perfect one for micky, showing despite being terribly flawed man and father, he still loved his kids.
uh oh never seen this show, but from what i see he had an incredibly similar childhood to me , my abuser was my priest and i had to take care of my mom as an 8 year old. very grateful for the therapy i put myself in otherwise i could have easily ended up just as violent. sometimes the urge to kill my abuser or myself is so overwhelming that i pass the fuck out or bang my head against a wall for hours.
Ray Donovan should be called 'How Sociopaths Are Made'. Sociopaths cannot feel love. All they can do is observe and replicate behaviour that serves their purpose - to survive. It is long overdue time this cause and effect was better know and not just treated as drama. There's something really sick about that.
You described psychopath not a sociopath. Ray has empathy. He is capable of love. But he is also capable of violence. Has low stress threshold (he escalates quickly). He is not a psychopath. Just a person exposed to hardcore stress and trauma.
