My heart melted when I defeated Magolor. In the end everyone is happy, and the theme plays softly in piano, but at that part I cried. I cried because I knew Magolor is was out there somewhere, crying as everything he worked for slipped right through his fingers. Every villan is a hero in his own mind, and I never let myself forget it.

Honestly, I think in the second phase of the fight, Magolor didn't want to fight Kirby and his friends anymore. But He was forced to by the Master Crown. It Took over his body, he no longer had control over his actions. In fact, if you listen carefully, when you beat Magolor, you can hear him scream, "Kirby!" It's saddening. I cried a little at the end.

Bowser was a one-dimensional pussy compared to this two-dimensional badass. At the same time, Kirby did al the real work and he got to save the universe from an evil tyrant, so from the POV of someone who's notoriously skilled at advocating for villains, I'm pretty sure we can all agree to root for Kirby on this one.

The part when Magolor transforms is as badass as when Malekith absorbs the Aether in the MCU...by far the best part of the game.
