I have watched an entire array of X100 Pro reviews and while some of them were solid, not one of them went through the settings and actually showed what you can or cannot configure the phone to do. I consider this as having a major impact on the user experience while using the device on a day to day basis. You can have the best piece of hardware, but if the software running it is missing some features it can sour the whole experience very quickly.
Having said that - thanks to Floss for taking the time and going through the whole thing in detail. That's a lot of useful information I learned after watching a dozen other videos about the X100 Pro. Everyone is talking about the same thing, some folks just straight up reciting the marketing materials, but you gotta come here to get the actual user experience info, the real deal, so thanks for that.

@@luckylstr942 Yes, I'm upgrading my current OnePlus 7 Pro with the Vivo X100 Pro and OnePlus 12 being on the shortlist at the moment. Currently, I am in favor of the X100 Pro, because the camera is amazing and it doesn't really seem to be noticeably worse than OnePlus 12 at anything. I'm in central Europe, so will have to wait for early February to be able to buy it locally.

That's a valid point - I'm using the X90 Pro as my daily driver and previously had the Nex S - the software has matured a lot and have no real complaints. Updates are quite frequent on the global version as well. Other things not talked about are things like the Hifi native support (hi res DAC built in on the X90 Pro alas no 3.5), vegan leather back and just small features that make Vivo flagships my preferred choice over an S Ultra or Pixel Pro.

I'll love those animations on my phone. 26:06 Split screen mode and floating windows are so magical and enjoyable. 29:11 That quality is definitely insane the camera is performing exceedingly well. 30:51 The sign is crystal clear it outshines the Xiaomi. 35:29 The IR blaster is indispensable it serves as a universal remote for everything that uses a remote.
