  • This just an overview of the chairgun app. I use if and it's helped my shooting and the best part is that it's free. If you listen close you can hear our new kittens in the background.

It is definitely a pretty fun easy to get app for basic ballistic stuff!
I have been fiddling with the graphs a bit to see what happens at longer range with different velocities and projectiles but I really struggle to understand how to read the wind and drop on this page 2:20 ... What are the left and right numbers related to exactly?
I thought it was intersecting points at first but it doesn't look like it
What I need to get better at is hold overs, angle shooting and fighting the wind so more tips are definitely welcome
(I guess tip #1 would be too stop being lazy and get strelok)

Hey man! I'm sorry for not sending a reply until now. I've had pneumonia so I haven't been doing much. On the graph, the horizontal numbers are yardage. The vertical numbers are drop in inches. I you are shooting less than 50 yards you can hit the range - button and it will also give you more usable data. I hated speech class in college. I was never good at presenting information.

@@secondhandlyon2603I was referring to the Crosshair but I've figured it out since...
I only had a weird example inputed into Chairgun so it was not working right!
(Left is close range right is long range holdovers)
I also figured how to activate the other options in the toolbox thanks to an other RUclips video to be able to get the yellow bar showing the target at different yardages on the reticle!
(Hope you are doing better now!)

Thanks for the video! On the "Graphs" page, you didn't mention the "Lines" function. I presume this is for shooting at an angle, up or down, but it is not labeled and I don't know what the increments are.

I realized after the fact that I neglected to cover the lines function. I intend to do a more comprehensive video that I will compare chairgun with the new strelok app. Thanks for the input!
