I dont usually leave a comment, but everyone else is being so wholesome. This is a great tip video, useful information delivered in an efficient manner. Well done!
A good tip: on maps that you don't visit often, you don't have to build up that much defenses as outpost do not get attacked unless you are on the map. So stretch out power wires to resource nodes over long-distances.
One useful tip (if I can remember it correctly) - some of the mission locations that are things like "find resource x" don't spawn waves of monsters. These planets can be great to put a ton of farms on to farm resources.
Yes, it's key. Might cause some performance issues though (especially when the aliens attack). Did you see my sub and view count? My channel is really underrated, I hope you sub and share my content!
My of is a bit of a beast, so seems to be working fine 😅 not playing that much these days with kids and whatnot! But sure I’ve subbed and will share when I can 😜
@@sturmstorm You're amazing! I got two kids myself, I sometimes create videos of games we've played together (Daddy Daughter Reviews), might be helpful to find some great games to share with the kids! Appreciate the support!
The Acidic Yeast map has small opponents that can be defeated without building massive defenses. I use that map with a Headquarters to build Storage, and use power from the Gas to power Carbonium and Ironium forges, and farms with the rare elements.
Radars stop enemies from spawning their area of coverage, so radar the entire map and once you clear mobs nothing will spawn. Then build outposts at the edges of the map voila. You dont really need a heabily fortified and walled main based. Mine outposts everywhere and in the case it gets destroyed whats the problem? Its so cheap you can just repair. Portals use nothing too so put them everywhere next to radars
I think you need to upgrade your main hub. Or upgrade/build another building. Check the Rift Breaker Research Wiki: riftbreaker.fandom.com/wiki/Research Also sub and share my underrated channel!
@@ProfessorM Probably in the settings (key bindings). I just did a quick Google search and it indeed says to press ~ (tilde on PC) or the ... (to the right of the home/Xbox button) if you're using a controller. I hope this helps.
Just played the demo version from Steam. At the end, all kinds of aliens rushed through my walls and sentinel towers and destroyed my player twice. It's a great game but I prefer X-Morph Defense over Rift Breaker for some reasons.
I never played the Demo. I will say the actual game never felt impossible and you can always save the game along the way. There is also multiplayer now (I believe), so maybe a friend can help you through the game as well.
LOOOL! I totally get you! I had the same experience! I ragequit and uninstalled the demo immediately. HOWEVER something about the game grabbed me and I gave the demo another try sometime later. Silly me them found out that you were supposed to get wiped out at the end. The prologue you play in the demo is a simulation and this final part is a scripted event. After that I even found some guy on RUclips who managed to defeat the final wave and he got a different outcome story-wise. I clocked over 100 hours in 2 weeks, the game's been a blast and it's easily one of my favourites! I even forgot about playing WoW with my sub still running and I play Riftbreaker instead xD
