I think its cuz on his instagram he seems like your typical douche South Orange County rich kid. His skating is crazy perfect but he seems aight from this video
Unmeasurable levels of unnecessary, misplaced, illogical hate. Society at large always wants to bring down the people who make it to the top. Sometimes for good reason, but a vast majority of the time, not so much. Nyjah has worked hard (probably too hard) for everything he's got. Dude gets nothing but respect from me for just keepin' on bein' himself.
cit2braine he’s far from a jock. He just plays it like he is because he finds it funny people think he is. Big difference. Edit: he can be competitive, but that’s not being a jock. Hating is not a natural thing either. Humans shouldn’t hate. Did you know we are 70-80% water, and when we hate, our water molecules separate. Because hate separates.
Someone I knew met him during a signing and he refused to sign anything for him or shake his hand, blew him off. I think its cause this was during his rasta phase and they see ginger people are the devil incarnate but still.
I enjoy waking up early sipping my coffee, smoking a joint, gripping a new board (this one happens to be a chocolate) and tuning in to hear that classic "weeeeeeell, we are BACK". Mondays are best served with the nine club. Thanks Gents
This is possibly the best he's done, imo. If not the best it's in the top few. He was clearly stoked to be interviewing Nyjah and Nyjah really kept the conversation flowing, even through the little offshoot topics that would happen.
Adidas can you please put Chris Robberts officially on your team. He's always repping Adidas hard. And also being liked by many people of all ages would have to benefit your company for sure. Team CROB
Funny how Nyjah didn't mention Japan as one of the main countries for skateboarding at the Olympics because Yuto and others were not on the map yet, but 3 years later Japan is killing it!
One of the strongest interviews I have ever seen. I don't know why haters hate him so much. Media presents him as such a bad guy. I don't know why. He has such an amazing success life story.
Nyjah is such an enormous inspiration to anyone who enjoys skateboarding. He definitely taught me when I was younger that falling just builds character and getting back up just improves motivation. I have so much love and respect for this man. 💯
Part of me would like Tom but another part of me would think it would be tough to watch. Geoff for sure, Chewy, yeah but not sure how many people would be attracted to it as he is more a of British thing, not sure if the US are aware of him enough to appreciate him.
Super humble cat. Been an admirer ever since his first x-games appearance back around 06. Glad to see him keeping at it and not falling down the dark road. Big ups to the dude🤘
Damn seriously that was the most interesting thing, soooo good to learn more about nyjah and his backstory, Chris the questions you asked were just the one I was thinking about and it’s cool that you just get back to the question when he tries to talk about something else. Super comprehensive, I loved it. I want Shane O’Neill next!! This would be the best like I want to learn more about his process when filming street like does he know what he is going to try when showing up to a ledge spot?
Nayjah the only skater who treats it like a sport. Stretching, the outfits, the repetitive tricks every day, all of it. No wonder he’s the best. Apparently John Coltrane would practice the basics of scales like 4 hours a day and then do creative stuff. I think nayjah is the only skater who has real work ethic.
Nyjah: "I try not to waste too much money on cars because, its just a waste of money" Chris: "right right right. You still got the Audi?" Nyjah: "Still got the Audi, yes. I sold the Lambo....".............. Lmao. Overall: loved this interview.
Dude I did too!!! I was a few years older than him and I grew up in so cal. My uncle lives in woodland down the street and I was sponsored by my local shop down south. When I saw him I knew then I was seeing a future super star…
Perfect! I've been hanging for the this weeks episode... yeeew. Just got home from work (Perth, Australia) and this is great to watch and chill after a big day. 🤙 Cheers guys.
Another classic episode. Nyjah is super fucking cool, best street skater to date, one of the gnarliest skaters to date, some of the dopest video parts, “Til Death” is ridiculous, just all around the goat. If you don’t like him that’s not his problem, that’s your problem for being a hater.
I also agree, people leave too much up to "talent" and "god given gifts", it's more of the mindset and mentality a person has, among other things of varying importance. But Nyjah is weird though because his dad forced the fuck out of him to skate, like abusive with it. If he had a different father who knows if we would know the name "Nyjah Huston"?
This is my favorite interview. Cool thing is Chris literally is the exact same in person I ran into him the other day in Santa Monica and he was very genuine mad my day. Also I've got a ton of respect for Nyjah as such a great athelete and driven person hopefully get to skate soon.
Chris is the Howard Stern of the Skateboard world. Getting all the real stories that people want to know about from a wide variety of guests. Nine Club is the best
Why do you insult Chris? He didn't once ask this guy how big his rod is and he didn't fat shame anyone either. Or did you mean Howard K. Stern, Anna Nicole Smith's former attorney?
Wow! Yes, This is deserved! I have never watched a full interview with NH until now. His vibe is unquestionable. I would love to see this child prodigy join forces with Sheckler to share both talents the same way Rodney and Daewon blessed this culture (the round videos). Again, thank you all @the 9 club!
Fuck man I wish I didn’t quit skating when I was younger biggest regret ever, still young tho and picked the board back up never putting it down again!!!
i love how he does the back 180 sw front crook (even though it was from the blunt angle) and then he does the back 3 nosegrind on that long ass mellow white rail after talking about it here, "somebody get on that" knowing that he drops the part with that in it the day after this interview.
What a great interview. I grew up watching this kid skate and seeing how humble he is having all the fame he has is awesome. Keep it up Nyjah and stay healthy !
Thanks guys for this. FIrst class interview and major props to Nyjah. He has a crazy style. How solid is that guy hitting tricks? It's crazy. With his background, lots of work for anyone wanting to make his level. If that's even possible. Good guy too.
At the end when he says we aren't going to be around in 5 years😂😂so enthusiastic about the shows demise I love it lol. I hope it's still here! Love the show you guys every Monday like clockwork. Also the experiences have been super cool. I personally would like them to be longer but I'm so happy that you guys made them free that I don't care. I hope the show lasts a long time. So glad I found this show. I found out because of the battle talk show lol Chris is the fucking man. I've come to love the rest of you as well now too. Keep up the good work ✌
Met Nyjah last year at X games just chilling on a sidewalk with his girl. Few of my homies and myself were skating by just said what’s up and got a picture quick. Super chill guy and humble. People love to hate without reason.
Crazy good interview and I was totally on the hating band wagon till I watched this. Great team you have at NINE and the interviews you guys dish out are great. Thank you and keep doing what you are doing. Much love and peace
One dope thing about Nyjah is his bag of tricks is completely different for every single video part. With most pros u can watch a few of their parts spread out over a decade & in all their parts they have the same few go-to tricks. Nyjah comes with a new unique bag of tricks every time
I’ve been a fan of nyjah since I was a kid and he still had the dreads. When you get older your views change towards certain individuals but this interview was definitely needed. Much love and respect ✊ even if you don’t like him you can’t say this man fucking shreds.
how people hate on this guy is unfathomable, THIS MAN IS THE LEBRON JAMES OF SKATEBOARDING! simply put Nyjah is the goat, no other skater dominates competitions like him. If you hate on him, you are just hating on greatness.
This is the interview everyone was expecting to happen eventually and it needed to happen. Nyjah gets a lot of hate because he's so good and from what I've seen on social media, he's pretty misunderstood too. This interview clears things up a bit so hopefully now skaters will stop running their mouths about him. He's a good humble guy yet everyone thinks he's this cocky douchebag. Thank you Nine Club.
Dumb how people hate on this guy. He's probably one of the best skaters of this generation. I like him a lot more after the interview.
same
probably? he is by far the top dog
PROBABLY?!?!? HE IS!
I think its cuz on his instagram he seems like your typical douche South Orange County rich kid. His skating is crazy perfect but he seems aight from this video
People always hate on the guy winning all the contests. I remember a lot resentment towards Chris Cole too back when he was winning everything
Nyjah is super misunderstood. Hes a cool dude. I feel like he gets alot of unnecessary hate.
Hating jock skaters, it's a natural thing to do
i think people just hate his social media presence more than anything
cit2braine
he’s far from a jock. He just plays it like he is because he finds it funny people think he is.
Big difference.

Dude has literally been skating as far back as his memory goes.
Dudes been skating as far back his memory goes and he’s only broken a finger.
I enjoy waking up early sipping my coffee, smoking a joint, gripping a new board (this one happens to be a chocolate) and tuning in to hear that classic "weeeeeeell, we are BACK". Mondays are best served with the nine club. Thanks Gents
Will Molitor every time
The new gospel ✌
Cool, poetic comment
The best culture still no chocolate boards in SA
Hell yeahhh
chris is such a good interviewer, funny and gets to the point.. keep it that way
agreed upon=)
This is possibly the best he's done, imo. If not the best it's in the top few. He was clearly stoked to be interviewing Nyjah and Nyjah really kept the conversation flowing, even through the little offshoot topics that would happen.
One of the best for sure
"WELLLLLLLLLLLL...."
On god
Adidas can you please put Chris Robberts officially on your team. He's always repping Adidas hard. And also being liked by many people of all ages would have to benefit your company for sure.
Team CROB
squidatsea no doubt. Garret Ginner but now Crob?! C’mon man
squidatsea /
Exactly! Just because of Crob I'm googleing for some nice Adidas cap :)
Adidas doesn't have their finger on the pulse of skateboarding if they're not giving The CRob a deal.
lmaoooooo
Chris has the perfect voice for a show
Really glad this interview is almost two hours.
Nyjah is one of the most humble, respectful, and CLEANEST skaters ever.
MISUNDERSTOOD
Jocks get what they deserves
This guy has a good head on his shoulders. I really enjoyed this interview.
Funny how Nyjah didn't mention Japan as one of the main countries for skateboarding at the Olympics because Yuto and others were not on the map yet, but 3 years later Japan is killing it!
6 years old doing kick flips lol I was eating my snot
gamerslockerslife FS nosepick?
Dox Fill frontside finger flip to nose grind
Richard Calif 😂😂
best comment ever! 😂 me too man!
Nyjah exudes joy. He has pure happiness flowing through his body.
What a sick interview! Chris dig in pretty deep and I definitely got a lot more in depth Nyjah
You gotta get Luan on !
Daniel K this please
he cant talk good engl.
@@goofy-goon8518 i think he talks decent
One of the strongest interviews I have ever seen. I don't know why haters hate him so much. Media presents him as such a bad guy. I don't know why. He has such an amazing success life story.
Art of MGTOW probably jealousy and he’s pretty normal and not a huge sell out
Nyjah is such an enormous inspiration to anyone who enjoys skateboarding. He definitely taught me when I was younger that falling just builds character and getting back up just improves motivation. I have so much love and respect for this man. 💯
You have to get Rowley on the show
Kyle Buckert Tom Penny, Chewy cannon
Tom Penny
For real if we can get Geoff or Penny on the show it’d be sick
Rowley would be amazing... This is SUCH A GOOD SHOW.
Part of me would like Tom but another part of me would think it would be tough to watch.
Geoff for sure, Chewy, yeah but not sure how many people would be attracted to it as he is more a of British thing, not sure if the US are aware of him enough to appreciate him.
The switch from Grosso to Nyjah gave me whiplash
chris reminds me of the big lebowski that chose skating over bowling
the crob abides
the duuude !!! this comment mmd
Chris is smokey!
Super humble cat. Been an admirer ever since his first x-games appearance back around 06. Glad to see him keeping at it and not falling down the dark road. Big ups to the dude🤘
Crob: "So what do you eat for breakfast."
Nyjah: "Like oatmeal and a waffle"
Crob: "Wow"
Ahaha
🤣🤣 "so you do this everyday?"
"fascinating"
"Stay off those scooters, pick up a board, do yourself a favour"
Damn seriously that was the most interesting thing, soooo good to learn more about nyjah and his backstory, Chris the questions you asked were just the one I was thinking about and it’s cool that you just get back to the question when he tries to talk about something else. Super comprehensive, I loved it.
I want Shane O’Neill next!! This would be the best like I want to learn more about his process when filming street like does he know what he is going to try when showing up to a ledge spot?
Been waiting for this to happen!! Nyjah is such an interesting dude
Work ethic and being one of the most naturally talented skaters ever will really take you far.
@@Dee-nonamnamrson8718naturally?? People don't just 'naturally' know how to skate 😅🤦♂️
Nyjah: "I try not to waste too much money on cars because, its just a waste of money"
Chris: "right right right. You still got the Audi?"
Nyjah: "Still got the Audi, yes. I sold the Lambo....".............. Lmao.
Overall: loved this interview.
LOL, thats how he knew its waste of money.
Used to skate his family's park in Woodland, and watching him learn tricks was...freakish. Dude's a monster
i need every bit of info right now 😂
yes he is a monster, he's sponsored by that toxic drink to fool his fans into being idiots. Monster as in satanic shill of all time.
Dude I did too!!! I was a few years older than him and I grew up in so cal. My uncle lives in woodland down the street and I was sponsored by my local shop down south. When I saw him I knew then I was seeing a future super star…
Every time I see nyjah bail, I always think it takes him at least 5 to 10 trys to get the bail. Lol
what do you mean with bail?
Roger always has a brew to pull out from under the table
visitamas hahaha
Lmao he drinks it soo casual and chill too then slowly puts it back
I'm interested to see where this one goes. Nyjah gets a lot of hate in the community, it will be good to see his point of view.
Perfect! I've been hanging for the this weeks episode... yeeew. Just got home from work (Perth, Australia) and this is great to watch and chill after a big day. 🤙 Cheers guys.
Hope you enjoy it!

It’s crazy Nyjah is still so young. He’s been killing it for so long.

That would be fire
So much more respect for him now that he opened up about his childhood. Amazing & love his fade to black part.
another great Nine Club Interview!!! Nyjah is a Legend, so focus, so sharp!!
Respect to Nyjah, one of the dopest skaters, keep it going Nine Club!
Yo also it would be dope to get Atiba on. Love to hear about his work

That was your best interview. Everybody was on point with good questions
+Swayzeo i agree!!
His childhood was tailored made to be a beast at skating and still he's killing it

What an awesome back to back, from Grosso to Nyjah. Imagine those two sitting down for some afternoon tea. This was a good one
Those Nyjah Nikes with the black smoosh are so tight.
Wow! Yes, This is deserved! I have never watched a full interview with NH until now. His vibe is unquestionable. Nyjah is one of the chillest professionals on earth, such a chill, humble and grateful dude. Respect !
"As long as I'm getting better every year, and I don't just feel I'm losing tricks and can't skate anymore, then I'm stoked" - skateboarder
i’ve watched so many podcasts and hundreds of interviews, but this one is my favorite interview i’ve ever seen. Good work
Big ups Nyjah!! Historical part you just dropped. Humble dude
Fuck man I wish I didn’t quit skating when I was younger biggest regret ever, still young tho and picked the board back up never putting it down again!!!

This made Nyjah feel a lot more human to me and I really appreciate you guys for interviewing him. I knew you would eventually. THANK YOU!
Am I the only one that tries to match my weeeellllll with Crob's?
Nine Club getting me through this Lockdown🙌🏾
ppl hate nyjah cause hes soo good but after seeing his new part idk how any skater can hate nyjah

Just now noticed Robert's switch flip switch mannie is looping on the miniscreen. Amazingly entertaining detail!❤️
Nyjah and Grosso have different tastes in breakfast.
They have different tastes in life
Their most crucial difference. Lolll
They really have 0 in common if you think about it....lol
@greg- pretty sure all skateboarders have at least one thing in common
two2five5one1 yeah they all like skateboarding so I guess that’s something all skaters have in common
