    Excellent video! On your diff change, I was always told you should take the top plug out first and then the bottom plug to drain. The reason, if something happens and the top plug cannot be removed, you can still drive it to load it up.

      Thank you for the comment. I've honestly never thought of it that way. That's not a bad idea. I do keep a spare plug on my toolbox just in case one of the allens starts to get loose. I can change it before it strips out. I had a plug strip out on me years ago on a dozer, and I was able to use a zip disk to cut a slot on the plug. Once I got it cut, I was able to get an impact screw driver to get the plug loosen and removed. Alot of work for a stripped out plug.

    Nice job on the video. Thanks for documenting the service procedure. Your 2020 model is identical to my 2023. I just received all of the supplies to do the service. Thanks again.

      Hey thanks for watching, commenting & Subscribing. Glad you enjoyed the video. I know it was strung out a little and not the best quality video or audio. That was one of my earlier videos.

    Do you have a video of where all of the grease zerks are?

    • @TheRustyGarageandHomestead
      @TheRustyGarageandHomestead  6 месяцев назад

      Thanks for watching. I do not, but There are only 3. Two on the rear stabilizer bar and one on the prop shaft.

    • @TheRustyGarageandHomestead
      @TheRustyGarageandHomestead  6 месяцев назад

      The older 900's had I believe 17 grease fittings. When they made the xp1000 the beefed up alot of the bushings & bearings and made them non greasable.

      @@TheRustyGarageandHomestead so I have had 2 xp1000s and I can only find the two for the sway bars on the front and rear, where is the one for the prop shaft?

      under the machine there should be a small hole in the plastic skid plate to access it. If not you may have to pull the skid plate. hope this helps. @@grantklopfenstein

      @@JamesWhite-tg4kw prop shaft u joints, wheel bearings goes dead for some reason when you first start it and back it out of the garage sometimes. It’s a 570 full-size just hit 300 hours almost 2500 miles. Those are things I’ve replaced and just noticed the lower control arm bushings Need to be replaced on the front end.
