This was my first time taking part in a market and is located in New Zealand. Market name - @theseasidemarket you can find on facebook or instagram.

Im happy you were able to make the table back. I've been to many events when I don't event make the table back and that is also my top one goal. The rest is icing on the cake as they say. Here's to a bigger success in future events. 😊
Yes exactly!!! If I don't make back the table cost it's all a bit sour really. Great to experience but the purpose is still to make a little bit of money 😅. All the effort feels slightly wasted otherwise.

@@catagonox My partner will be able to be there for part of the day, which I'm grateful for. I'm anxious about having to pack up on my own, but I have faith in myself and know that it'll all work out (somehow) in the end!
Take your time packing up. Naturally we all want to get home after a long trade but since it's your first run, just take it easy and keep an eye on everything. Don't want you pulling any muscles either 👌

i understand you saying cash only but when you open a square account they give you a card reader thingy for free! all you have to do is plug it into your phone and you have a little pos machine!
It's not available here in New Zealand. I can't get square because of my location. It won't let me 🥲
hello! I make markets in italy and here too we don't have square, so i use sumup!!! highgly recommend uwu keep up the good work!
Smartpay eftpos for 12months and it's portable is like 500 I was looking into it for my markets and well that's just a bit much for me just yet lol

Hello! Your videos have been so inspiring! Thank you so much! I am a crafter too and sadly such markets do not happen in my side of the world...any idea how I could get my products to markets over there?
Thank you so much! Oh I'm not too sure. I try to find any crumb of opportunities to sell my craft, even if that means having to travel for it. Alot of us New Zealanders travel around our country in order to share our crafts and make up an income. Depending on where you are maybe you will have to travel a little to find an event where you can sell? Unfortunately I don't know how else you could do it unless you try marketing your crafts online.
PayPal offers a swipe thingy for phones! I know PayPal is a worldwide thing but unsure if there's anything stopping you from using one of those. It's been yeaaaaars since I got mine but I remember it being a simple process. Hope you can use it too!

This is a great vid but please enlarge your captions. It’s so difficult to read & please make sure to keep them on a normal reading pace. I personally set my text size to 55 and read them through so my viewers don’t have to keep pausing the vid to read the captions. 🤗🤗🤗
I'm always at odds with how big to have my text or how long to have it set to, but this is helpful! It's great to hear feedback about this sort of stuff otherwise I'd never know!

Do you have apps like Venmo or cash app? You can make a sign with your QR code/app name so those who don’t have cash can send money
Unfortunately unavailable to NZ as well. We have next to nothing over here 😔
