Thank you sooo much for the time you spent on teaching us on how to accomplish making that special bath bomb!! I appreciated it very much and enjoyed every video tutorial. ❤❤
I’ve been laid up all day dang it!!! Glad hubby and I got to spend some time with my dad and stepmom yesterday evening for his 70th bday. Because I don’t wanna move today!
You invested a lot of time and product to teach us a lot and I very much appreciate it. I never made a bath bomb before and tried your basic recipe and it worked fine. I just need to practice my my molding technique. Thank you. I enjoyed the home luxury made by myself.
I just had to go experiment with the extra B.S . amount to see if that was why the extra bubbles: put 2 tall glasses, each half filled with water on counter and had premixed 2 dishes of dry ingredients, each having 1 TBLS BAKING SODA,,but but one dish had 1 1/2 tsp. CITRIC ACID & the other dish had just 1 tsp CRITIC ACID before adding at the same time to those water glasses. RESULTS: The one dish with extra CITRIC BLEW SUPER FIZZ UP OVER THE GLASS ,while the one with less CITRIC FIZZED HALF AS HIGH AND FIZZED OUT QUICKLY....Whereas,the one with MORE CITRIC LASTED TWICE AS LONG FIZZING DURATION & REMAINED HIGH IN GLASS... SO: i think it may have been her scent that caused that super bubble reaction,or there was poly 80 in the experiment and she may have forgotten because it was made many months earlier......😊
Wow, so much great information. Bath bombs were what started me on my DIY soapy bubbly adventure. I had a few "bad" batches when I started, after this series I now understand why. Thanks for sharing!
Yeah you do a lot but go enjoy your family time we went last night to fireworks show and tonight again we bbq and pop off fireworks with the kids Friday I’m wore out already today the 4 th lol
I am curious how long the scent lasts in bath bombs. I see that some people wrap them in plastic and some leave them open to air. Does the shrink wrap plastic help retain the scent? Thanks for all of the great information. I appreciate you.
These were very helpful videos, thanks again. One question, out of all the batches I have done someting wrong that only affected 4 bombs, they crumbled. Im wondering if they would still fizz if I crushed them back up and remade or thats it for them now?
I'm gonna say the extra BS is what made the foam. If you have ever added BS to vinegar, especially apple cider vinegar you get that same foamy experience. I use BS and ACV all the time as a cleaning solution for tough stains. Very interested in the science end of this LOL Thank you for these videos.
Happy Hamilton day! 😂

Yup. I use poly 80 - gives a silky moisture feel to water
Oh… and thanks for using epsom in your BBs. 😊 It helped my shoulder and smelled lovely. ❤

Wow! What a beautiful series! Thank you! ❤
My fave are the ones that didn’t change the color of the water! 😋
For personal use, same!
Ok now I think I'm ready to try bath bombs again lol
Would love to see you do a women's suffrage coloured bath bomb.
Is there a difference between extra fine or course citric acid in bath bombs?
Hey! No difference in bombs.
what would be your advice on the use by date for bath bombs? use within 6 months?

Could i use tapioca starch?
Sure!
I have used it in place of corn starch or arrowroot powder.❤
I use tapioca starch all the time! I love it.
What’s a long time?
A long time for what? How long bath bombs keep? I dunno; I’ve used some that are 3+ years old and they still work, but I always prefer the fresh ones.

I totally read this comment as “bs” meaning “bullshit” and I’m like, there’s nothing extra in it, though! Took me a minute. 😂
@@MrsSoapAndClay OMG I totally wasn't thinking that through LOL 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha I thought the same thing at first 😂
