For me its kinda eh I like the synthwave approach but the drops aren't getting me if you know what I mean
I think I'd rank the EP like

3. Imagineer
4. Tick Tock

All songs are atleast an 8/10
Yeah, I even ranked the songs as well as the visuals and the only reason closure got a 7.5/10 was because the visuals weren't the best
@@w0lfy89 I kinda dig the visuals for Closure, mostly because you don't get a seizure by watching at it. Would be better if their heads actually bobbed in sync with the beat though

Tick tock isn’t getting as much praise as I thought it would tbh. Control freak has a distinct style and this whole song is IMO a super dope blend of their styles. Super happy the 3 drops are unique and not repetitive too
Yea I agree, I love that about collabs. When there’s a perfect blend of 2 artists (or more) they blend so well together!
I LOVE control freak’s style and tick tock has to be my favorite one.
I've never been a fan of Control Freak's music but Tick Tock does in fact bang

Electric Lady makes me happy, smile for no reason like when I was 15/16 and was discovering love, literally that what I feel with that track, I'm deffo add it yo my favorites of 2021.
Really liking the EP overall, i like the aethetic or theme, intro/mid-sections/outros are fanstastic, really feeling them. The heaviest parts are super sick IMO! I think all of them had something to be remembered of, "the catchy part" as Connor said. I'm glad they made something retro on the EP, talking about Closure of course: was expecting more of this since Deeper In Love, I KNOW THEY LOVE DOING IT, and makes me very happy that they get to release it to us.
to round up, I liked all tracks, some more than others, but enjoyed everything after all. :)
My favorite part of the EP was just that contrast from Closure to Tick Tock, we went from synthwavy bop to heavy-duty collab with Control Freak lmao

I saw the cover art for this and literally thought the whole EP was gonna sound like Closure lol
When I first heard Computer Love (the track) in a live set, I thought it sounded unfinished and a bit of a weak, or even a boring letdown. However, I kept remembering it and coming back to it. Something about the emptiness of the percussion makes it really unique in my mind's eye, and now it's one of my BA favorites. As you mentioned at the end, some of them are growers haha
One of the best barely alive eps to date. All the songs are solid, and they set a lot of different vibes, which I enjoyed. Only one I didnt thoroughly enjoy was probably computer love. The snare was probably the biggest issue.
1. Tick tock (8/10): not enjoying it as much as my first listen, but damn boi he thicc. Can't get enough of the first drop.
2. Electric lady (8/10): vocal is great and it hits hard. Won't get boring any time soon.
3. Closure (7/10): gets a little repetitive, but that guitar solo is ebic
4. Imagineer (7/10): not huge on this idea but it's well produced.
5. Computer love (5/10): thoughts on it above
I love this EP, Electric Lady is my favourite followed closely by Tick Tock, and the rest just behind. All the songs are great imo though

The bass stabs in the 2nd drop of Electric Lady are sso nutty on good headphones. #1 off the EP for me, but I'm pretty dissappointed there was only 1 double drop.
Computer love - 8/10 I kinda like it and how spacey it is and it has a lot of ear candy in between bits Electric lady - 7/10 beautiful vocals and the first drop is very pretty Closure - 7/10 very old school disco type track its very catchy but a tad bit repetitive. Tick tick- 5/10 I just don’t vibe with it , I don’t even have a real good reason why tbh. Imagineer- 9/10 very slept on from what I can tell I’m the comments those sounds are so pretty yet heavy at the same time

Not a thing of ‘bringing it back’ tbh, always wanna do so but there’s just too much music coming out constantly that I feel I have to cover, leaves little time for extra stuff. Trying to fit those kinda things in more

First and last songs I loved so much, 3rd song was sick, 4th with Control Freak I didn’t enjoy very much and 2nd song I thought was way too generic, actually sounds a lot like Virtual Riot’s old sound I thought

It's certainly an interesting EP, not as many highs as something like Lost In Time, but not as many lows as either of the Head To Head Vols.
Production across the board is good but does feature a couple segments or drops that feel undercooked or out of place in the track, such as Imagineer's second drop.
The collabs are good, if rather expected in terms of ideas and design, especially Tick Tock, which feels like single material, rather than the penultimate track on an EP.
Tbh, I think you could replace Tick Tock or Computer Love (or both) with Killer Robots, which much better fits the aesthetic of the release.
Overall EP - 7/10.
Computer Love - 6/10.
Electric Lady ft. XO ELIZA (with Nyptane) - 7/10.
Closure ft. Drew Seeley - 8/10.
Tick Tock (with Control Freak) - 5/10.
Imaginner ft. XO ELIZA - 6/10.

Im always struggling with BA. They alwas got great ideas but there is no perfect track from them. Always when I listen, I have like 2 or 3 things I would change and than consider it a very good song. Its no different in this EP.

Closure: 4/10
Tick Tock: 5/10
Imagineer: 7/10
I consider 5/10 to be an average song. Best thing about this EP is the vocals in the EP. XO Eliza has a great voice and BA are using it perfectly
