This video and especially the comments were seriously cracking me up 😂 😂 😂 Flip the bench around, pressing accordions, heavy *** sit up, breaking the couch, and his Robert De Niro game face 😂 😂 😂
I know it’s a lot of weight, but the enormity of the dumbbells is comical. Gonna get them but will prob not go beyond stage 3. That said, 152 lbs for reps is f’ng awesome. Well done.
@@kingbeast8243 yes, normal 150's would be almost the same size. Ultimately other than being square, powerblocks aren't much larger than normal DBs of the same weight.
I would like to know how you handle the huge increments in the powerblock 175 series. Normally, it is 5 lbs, but here it is 10 lbs I think. Secondly, do the weights rattle during any exercises?
Where did you get this ones? I have the 90lbs version (stage 3). Can i somewhere buy a stage 4? I didnt find powerblocks in the internet with over 90lbs. Are they customized?
Effectively my plan. I’m looking online for some PB Sport 50s or EXPs that were used so I can save $$$. That and 20 leg weights (10lb per leg) are all I need to collect.
Impressive. You almost hit the couch. Love my PB. Had mine now for 18 years. Thought they were a bad investment at first because they do no look like much, but I was wrong. Get a great workout every time. Tip I used 2 plastic storage bins to cover them up and also as a dumbbell stands with a rubber mat to place on either side of the bench between sets. The bins are surprising strong.
You can also place them beside you while your standing for standing arm curls, leg squats, etc. If they start cracking, just buy another. Great that the PB are square. They stay were you place them..
Never mind. I do not believe the bins will be able to hold your impressive 152ib per hand PB. Just incredible all that weight you have in confine quarters.
More than I can lift right now but curious why video labeled 152.5 lbs when the most each one can go to is 125 and 1 plate was left on the rack. Not messing with you because more than I can do but was just curious how you got that weight?
very nice lift. I hate that bench tho. I was so excited when my workplace said they were upgrading the gym with new benches and that bench honestly isn't the greatest.
Damn you have some serious power. I don't think I would try that lift with dumbells but rather with an Olympic bar and a squat rack with safety bars. Also with that much weight less chance of injury with bar and rack but I could be wrong.
Charlie Morrison He's saying that if your muscles were to give out you wouldn't be able to just "let go" like with a normal dumbbell, instead your rotator cuff, joints, and hands are going to get messed up badly.
Honestly I own a pair and it's not a concern. If they're up high your not going to just drop them anyway because you'll be eating them whether they are dumbbells or PBs. If they are lower just tilt towards your waist and let go. Go try a pair, I was a skeptic until I had a set in my hand. They are no more dangerous then anything else a heavy lifter is doing without a spotter.
I am very happy to see this. And to the dude that says flip your bench around I say phooey, when my bench is where I like it I ain’t moving it for nothing!
Ya sound like mad haters! Lol.. It's like saying " I don't know why people persevere too much" or " I don't know why people challenge themselves and strive for more." 😭💪 Shut up and stay basic.
Dude, flip the bench around the other way so you don't have to walk all the way over there LOL -- nice lift
American Home Fitness (Sterling Heights) that's what I was thinking lol.. All that extra work
Wow at least im not the only one lmao
no dude you need to work those forearms
No shit right. He must have never read this comment because he’s still facing the wrong way in 2018 videos!
First thing I thought of too. Lol
MA! JIMMY’S DOWNSTAIRS LIFTING THE TOASTA AGAIN!
I'm fucking cryin
Looks like some heavy ass accordians
Let’s not ignore this man did a assisted 305 lb weight crunch at the end of it all 👌🏽
It’s one of my favorite parts of having mine! It’s a draw back but kind of a plus, I’m only at the 120’s thougg 😂
Because he can't drop those expansive dumbells😂
its 107lbs each
@@tjasdeadBrilliant! Now how does that add up to 152.5?
This video and especially the comments were seriously cracking me up 😂 😂 😂 Flip the bench around, pressing accordions, heavy *** sit up, breaking the couch, and his Robert De Niro game face 😂 😂 😂
Damn, I didn't think he could do it but he actually did it. And for reps too.
"Dam son"
that's beast mode with two hernias
🤣🤣 good job
That looked insane man! Nice job.
Could that bench be any more awkwardly placed. Try putting a standing lamp by the end of bench and maybe throw some marbles on the floor.
🤣🤣🤣
Dawg foreal I was about to say the same thing haha 😂😂😂😆 fuck it all just put some baby oil on the bench
Throw in a couple of bananas
Damn broke the couch! 😂

I guess but man 152.5 pounds is crazy weight most normal 150 pound dumbbells would be pretty massive too.
@@kingbeast8243 yes, normal 150's would be almost the same size. Ultimately other than being square, powerblocks aren't much larger than normal DBs of the same weight.
Shits look like tool boxes lol
Hypertrophy trophy 🏆. Nice work bro!
Nice lifts and with good form 👏
Great strength Charlie excellent form.
Impressive, but it looks like your benching toasters.
Johnny Britten who gives a fuck what they look like.
Yeah cuz they SUPPOSE to look pretty 😂😂😂
Power blocks are the shit
Nobody is making fun of his "toasters" during corona virus lock down. Everyone who can't get into their gym wants a set now😂
You win
Dude, that was awesome!
Hey ive never seen those powerblocks what kind are those ? I thought they only went up to 90?

Beast! good job!
grunting sounds like filthy frank
Super impressed man!!!
Super soldier serum?
nice job man! been looking at getting a set of these powerblocks. How do you like them and how do you feel about their size above the 90lbs?
Joel Thomas I like the bigger size, it is more durable
Charlie Morrison is that the club set you have there or an expansion set with the two different sized handles?
This used to be called the xxl, I think it's now called u175
holy sh!t, good job
That some sick Microwave Bruh!!!
Looks like two tool boxes :-)
that poor couch!
LOL
Looks like he's benching two tool boxes lol
got it done. kudos
Cheezus!
Dude LFG! haha that was awesome.
Impressive!
having trouble deciding on these, I pay a gym membership but I'm thinking a pullup bar a flat bench and the powerblock 50s are all I need.
Josh Kozee or do both ☺️
potentially, the idea was to buy my own equipment and save the money not needing the membership many props for this, you can lift some serious weight
Effectively my plan. I’m looking online for some PB Sport 50s or EXPs that were used so I can save $$$. That and 20 leg weights (10lb per leg) are all I need to collect.
Get the set you can upgrade to 90lbs at least. You'll outgrow 50s fast.
Congrats. That's serious weight.
I don't get it, is this tutorial video how to lift that powerblock or just show off video ? Can anyone tell me?

Robert Suhrer I will look into that for stands, I'm so used to reracking and walking back the weight each time
You can also place them beside you while your standing for standing arm curls, leg squats, etc. If they start cracking, just buy another. Great that the PB are square. They stay were you place them..
Did the plastic storage bins work out?
Never mind. I do not believe the bins will be able to hold your impressive 152ib per hand PB. Just incredible all that weight you have in confine quarters.
I have the ones that go up to 127 but so awkward to handle pass 110
Jeez, two engine blocks. Good job.
Dude nice work! That's some weight to push! Sweet weighted hula hoop do you superset with that? haha jp
Gives me an 💡. My toolboxes turn them into this. Ill just leave all my heaviest 🔧 and 🔨s inside. Lol jk great video bro
What's the point of taking heavy loads other than doing five climbs and descents?
too big. look like radio station
Strong as an ox!
I didn't know they made them that big. Where did you buy those?
For some reason you inspired me
Good work
Turn them in a little. It'll save your shoulders in the long run.
Wooten I'll have to try it
Place bench far from toolboxes ✔
Socks ✔
Ruin couch from placing 150lb toolboxes on it ✔
Ruin shoulders from too much weight ✔
Shoulders from too much weight? OHH LOOK A LITTLE BABY OH NOO, ITS FUCKING LIGHTWEIGHT BABY!!!!!!!
Good idea using the couch for a spotter. I’m sure that couch will last.
I’ve been in gyms my entire life…. THAT was Freaky 😎congrats 🎊 😊
That’s a nice bench. What’s the brand? I’m in the market for an adjustable bench.
Dude that bench is horrible dont let your eyes deceive you
Can you get FM radio on those bad boys?
show the weight diagram on the power blocks...i believe thats 107lbs each
More than I can lift right now but curious why video labeled 152.5 lbs when the most each one can go to is 125 and 1 plate was left on the rack. Not messing with you because more than I can do but was just curious how you got that weight?
Carl Ellwood I have the 175# set it comes with two handles that max out at 175 or 167
Is that a discontinued set because powerblock only offers 125 now, where do I get this set?
That is awesome though, too bad they don't offer the 175 set anymore.
Carl Ellwood powerblock u175
Gotcha, I hadn't looked under the commercial side of the website. I'll keep this set in mind when I get up to that weight range. Thanks for the info.
Didn’t know they made Powerblocks that heavy
Good Job Bro, BeastMode ! Yes turn that bench around lol
RIP playstation controller
Just got the stage 3 and am not there yet but do realize how much harder it is to lift 140 to 150lbs dumbbells compared to the bar
Oh ya way different weight transfer
What a lift !! How can i make my powerblock go above 90lbs ? Anyone ?
Still good as new?
Yes, work smarter not harder.
Can your hand get caught in the bar when you tried to let go?
I wouldn't want to be in that situation. Most of the time unless you are going 100% I wouldn't worry
It looks like he's lifting bunch of video games 🎮
very nice lift. I hate that bench tho. I was so excited when my workplace said they were upgrading the gym with new benches and that bench honestly isn't the greatest.
Hahah that face bro xD
I feel pain just by watching
My powerblocks just throttled me
You talkin to me? You talkin to me? Well I'm the only one here.........Good ole Travis Bickle
this is 152.5 lbs per side or in total?
Per side
Sweet jesus H
Dude almost set himself up 😅😅
Damn you have some serious power.
I don't think I would try that lift with dumbells but rather with an Olympic bar and a squat rack with safety bars.
Also with that much weight less chance of injury with bar and rack but I could be wrong.
Looks like a good opportunity to break a hand if something went wrong, seeing that you have a hold of it in the center of a box
Jeff Harvey it actually feels more natural than a dumbbell
Charlie Morrison He's saying that if your muscles were to give out you wouldn't be able to just "let go" like with a normal dumbbell, instead your rotator cuff, joints, and hands are going to get messed up badly.

Why is he lifting boomboxes instead of actual weights
Looks like 2 toolboxes 🧰 😳
LMAO those dumbbells
Legend wears a belt to bench lol
All powerlifters do. You should try it.
i can already feel the pain by watching his face.. lol..
anyway, that powerblock looks like size of 200 lbs dumbbell.s
can you throw them on the ground?
Not a good idea 152 pounds would break them, if you have to throw them down you should be using less weight
i have that set its a 107lbs each
Looks like his pressing two tool boxes
152 lbs per hand?!?!
No
Yes 152 lbs per hand!
Yes those are 152.5 each hand. They go up to 175 each. Impressive strength
How many kilos are Then
playstation bootup sound @ 1:17 lol
Hey Charles, have you seen my tool bo-
One of those blocks weighs more than me.
I didn't know power blocks went up to 152. I have the extender set that makes mine 130.
This is their commercial set they sell. I just got it. Love it so far too. Goes up to 175lbs per side.
@@offgridmgtowhomestead2520 geez, at 175 they must be huge!!
These ones are. They are much larger than the standard powerblocks for sure.
You should get the Powerblocks Barbell.
It's not compatible with the 175 # model
Looks like your benching tool boxes
The bench is too heavy to move...
it seems to be Tools box
Nothing like a living room work out with some fat dumbbells gets some reps in before the wife catches me going ham
I am very happy to see this. And to the dude that says flip your bench around I say phooey, when my bench is where I like it I ain’t moving it for nothing!
I don’t know why people over do working out
It's called ego lifting 😂
Ya sound like mad haters! Lol.. It's like saying " I don't know why people persevere too much" or " I don't know why people challenge themselves and strive for more."
😭💪 Shut up and stay basic.
How about get stronger, cut the fat, build your brain, prevent injury, Improve endurance, fight aging ect. Just google the benefits of lifting heavy.
You’re stronger now
Lmao...and all it took was 1 RUclips video.
Hahaha, too much weight!
STOP calling them toolboxes gosh... They're toasters =D
Candi Soda The toasters would be the sport models. Well, actually, those are shaped more like a loaf of bread.
what are you toasting, whole baguettes?
They look much more like toolboxes
Watch the video at 2x speed. You’ll be on the floor by the end!
I thought powerblocks only went up to 125lbs?
Muse Russell23 these go to 175# or 167.5# depending on handle
Charlie Morrison oh wow I do see it now - www.powerblock.com/prod_commercialuse_U-175CLUBSET.php
Pretty cool
Charlie Morrison how does the weight distribution feel with the blocks compared to a regular dumbbell?
