    • @chuckjones5379
      @chuckjones5379 Год назад +3

      @@kingbeast8243 yes, normal 150's would be almost the same size. Ultimately other than being square, powerblocks aren't much larger than normal DBs of the same weight.

    Impressive. You almost hit the couch. Love my PB. Had mine now for 18 years. Thought they were a bad investment at first because they do no look like much, but I was wrong. Get a great workout every time. Tip I used 2 plastic storage bins to cover them up and also as a dumbbell stands with a rubber mat to place on either side of the bench between sets. The bins are surprising strong.

    • @powerblockgym
      @powerblockgym  7 лет назад

      Robert Suhrer I will look into that for stands, I'm so used to reracking and walking back the weight each time

    • @robertsuhrer5604
      @robertsuhrer5604 7 лет назад

      You can also place them beside you while your standing for standing arm curls, leg squats, etc. If they start cracking, just buy another. Great that the PB are square. They stay were you place them..

    • @robertsuhrer5604
      @robertsuhrer5604 7 лет назад

      Did the plastic storage bins work out?

    • @robertsuhrer5604

      Never mind. I do not believe the bins will be able to hold your impressive 152ib per hand PB. Just incredible all that weight you have in confine quarters.

      Honestly I own a pair and it's not a concern. If they're up high your not going to just drop them anyway because you'll be eating them whether they are dumbbells or PBs. If they are lower just tilt towards your waist and let go. Go try a pair, I was a skeptic until I had a set in my hand. They are no more dangerous then anything else a heavy lifter is doing without a spotter.
