Yes it’s perfect. And Even easier than the Kronos because you not only use solid buttons but they are also closer to your fingers whilst playing. Two massive advantages.
Good job mate! Here's a little tip, you could choose copy from program option from dropdown menu instead of selecting program patches directly. It'll get all the effects along with patches .. Cheers
Synth Guy yes. I use it all the time. Great tip for those who don’t know. This was a short video purely for the karma but your help is appreciated. The effects will overwrite each other for the 4 sounds we have here so make sure you select the main sound you are going to use to have the effects then if there’s enough spaces left in the effects section you can manually input the effects found in the program for the other remaining sounds over to the combi
JackCap XLR I've tried it ... very cool 👌. .. Now I want to use different effects for each channel so that each channel has an effect different from the other .... Can ???? If you have new ideas, post them. You deserve to follow
احمد مختار hi. Effects can be added but you are limited to the one set of 5 effects because you are only using one preset location and not separate locations for each sound. So you can only assign the standard number of 5 between all the sounds you use on the karma setting (4 sound we’re used in this video so each sound could have one effect assigned to it)
JackCap XLR Own the korgm3. . And use it with KLEFAR AK3 PRO to use an oriental program ... it is connected by midi in ... now i want to use midi keaboard with korgm3 .. how can i use it ؟؟؟؟؟ note.... that midi in for korgm3 is used for SCALE TUNING CONVERTER
I fear I'll never understand this thing in it's entirety...truly a lifetime to master the m3, I have a question though Is it possible to run both the m3 and an external audio signal through the same fx but have them output to different places? I want my m3 to output to main L/R but the things I'm running through it to output to one of the assignable outputs. Is this possible or do I have to run them through their own fx chains separately?
ty for quick response anyway, this thing is so cryptic lol the basic functions of the m3 are very simple but to understand this beast fully inside and out seems to be a never ending journey
wannabetheguy hi. I cannot double check in my keyboard as I only see it at gigs, the rest of the time it’s packed away but I’ve only ever used 4 sounds because that’s all I’ve needed. However there is a chance that you can use 8 different sounds as there are 8 scene locations. Because there are only 4 scene buttons in the front of the keyboard the first four are quick and easy to select. Scenes 5 to 8 require pressing a couple of buttons or using the touch screen display which will display all 8 scenes. Again. I can’t double check to see if this is correct but you may find information online. Thanks.
okay sorry I instantly realized that I needed a fresh combi to do this. Seeing as you responded though, please help me with my real issue! I figured out how to switch sounds smoothly with this video, and thank you for that, but what I really want to do is be able to switch the midi channel I'm outputting on smoothly. Do I need to use sequencer mode to do this and if so how do I do it? Multiple external synths, can't have em all on the same midi channel :P and even in sequencer mode as I can see right now, switching channels is cumbersome and can't be done while playing
That’s some Montage type of stuff right there!!! Great video!!!!
Kurzweil been doing it and never advertised it ;-)
Muchas gracias por tu aporte, me fue de muchísima utilidad.
seamless just like the Kronos...amazing.

Ты просто красавчик !!!👍👍👍мой друг
Thanks a lot for this video. It’s very helpful for playing live. God bless you!!
Can you change combis this way and not individual patches?
thanks mate - appreciate your instructions
Thank you Giles. Nice of you to say so.

Thanks alot i was trying to figure this out and never found it
millayesa29 you're welcome. Glad to help
Very nice! I will try that tomorrow. With keyboard splits??
Cool. Yes splits will work fine.
Would you know where the script file for Cubase would be for this unit? Thank you!
When I switch tracks in M3-M, only the first track is played in the sequencer. Why?
I will try. ...good job ..this makes easy playing live
احمد مختار yes, its really good for live playing. Thanks, “JackCap” Audio Protection,

Solomon Jenkins that’s not something I’ve ever had to try looking into I’m afraid. Hope you manage to find out the answer and its works for you.
ty for quick response anyway, this thing is so cryptic lol the basic functions of the m3 are very simple but to understand this beast fully inside and out seems to be a never ending journey
Solomon Jenkins yes. It’s extremely complex as it’s got so many extra features. I will personally only ever use 5% of what it’s capable of
when I go 2 track to it won't play in karma mode for a drum roll please help
in sequence mode how do I get karma to play the 2nd track
Is it possible to add more than just 4 sounds? I have a 5th I'd like to add to my combi to toggle between and I can't figure out how to do it.

Hi, did you figure out how to go about 5th? Thanks
@@bagwatkrishnan547 I did not lol.
I’m certain you can do it since it offers you to assign upto SW8. I’m poking around trying my luck. Will let you know if I crack it
@@bagwatkrishnan547 thanks! Would be cool!
can you help me with how to play the drum rolls?
Sauav Sharma hi, i never use drums. I Wouldn’t have a clue where to start, sorry,
Thanx much
Thumbs up! Do you still have the M3?
Bobcatt22 yes. I Still have an M3.
good job
run is greyed out i can't deslect it
Solomon Jenkins hi. What is your starting location ?
okay sorry I instantly realized that I needed a fresh combi to do this. Seeing as you responded though, please help me with my real issue!
